Miley Cyrus Releases Emotional Single "More to Lose": Stream It Now
Yara Sameh Miley Cyrus has introduced a vulnerable new layer of her upcoming visual album "Something Beautiful", dropping fourth single 'More to Lose' Friday just a few weeks ahead of the LP. Singing over cinematic piano, guitars and strings, the pop star steps fully into the power of her voice on the new track. 'I knew someday that one would have to choose,' she belts. 'I just thought we had more to lose.' The ballad arrives after about a week of Cyrus teasing it on social media, eventually sharing a black-and-white preview of 'More to Lose' on her YouTube channel two days ahead of its release. In one clip posted to Instagram , the Grammy winner shared snippets of the song while describing how it came together in the studio. 'I tried to keep it a singular take,' she explained to followers, addressing the camera in an elegant black dress. 'It's really a song that's more of a story, and I never want that to be interrupted or overthought or chasing perfection. I never wanted 'More to Lose' to be perfect, I wanted it to sound beautiful and emotional.' Following 'Prelude,' 'End of the World' and Something Beautiful's title track, 'More to Lose' marks the fourth song fans have gotten to hear from the album ahead of its May 30 release. At a recent Spotify listening event in New York City, Cyrus revealed that she thinks the 13-track project is 'not only my best album, but also my gayest.' Miley Cyrus Releases New Single "End of the World": Stream It Now
Yara Sameh Miley Cyrus continues the rollout for her upcoming album 'Something Beautiful' with the release of her new single 'End of the World,' along with its respective music video . In March, Cyrus announced her upcoming visual album 'Something Beautiful,' releasing May 30. Her ninth album is slated to include 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, who previously worked with Alabama Shakes and Kacey Musgraves. Though little is known about the record at large, Cyrus previously said that it's inspired by Pink Floyd's 'The Wall.' 'My idea was making 'The Wall,' but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture,' she told Harper's Bazaar in November, describing the album as 'hypnotizing and glamorous.' 'It's a concept album that's an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music.' Less than a week after announcing 'Something Beautiful,' she dropped the first two songs from 'Something Beautiful' — the spoken-word 'Prelude' and the rock-meets-soul title track. The latter got the music video treatment with explosive visuals directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, with cinematography by Benoît Debie. The album will be accompanied by a film that's set for release in June. The film is produced by Cyrus, XYZ Films and Panos Cosmatos in collaboration with Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records and Live Nation. Cyrus is directing alongside Bixenman and Walter. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Videos & Features Bouchra Dahlab Crowned Miss Arab World 2025 .. Miley Cyrus Announces Visual Album "Something Beautiful": Here's When It Arrives
Yara Sameh Miley Cyrus has announced her upcoming visual album, 'Something Beautiful,' set for release on May 30. Though details surrounding the record are scarce, the singer revealed that her ninth album will feature 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, who previously worked with Kacey Musgraves and Alabama Shakes. She also revealed the album cover, shot by Glen Luchford and showing Cyrus in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture. The album is available for preorder in various formats including signed vinyl and CDs, limited-edition vinyl, and two box sets featuring collectibles. Cyrus has been teasing 'Something Beautiful' over the past week, with her social media accounts changing headers to hint at the album title and posters and billboards popping up in Brazil, the Netherlands, and Argentina. The singer last released 'Endless Summer Vacation' in March 2023 led by the single 'Flowers.' That song became a massive hit for Cyrus, spending eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and breaking numerous streaming records. 'Flowers' won the Grammys last year for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, while 'Endless' was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. 'Flowers' is currently at the focus of a copyright lawsuit brought by Tempo Music Investments in September 2024 that accuses Cyrus of copying Bruno Mars' 'When I Was Your Man.' Tempo owns the catalog rights of 'When I Was Your Man' co-writer Philip Lawrence, and last week, a judge denied Cyrus' request to dismiss the suit, clearing the path towards a trial. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe Videos & Features Bouchra Dahlab Crowned Miss Arab World 2025 ..
