Dharmendra, first wife Prakash Kaur celebrate 71st wedding anniversary; Bobby Deol shares pic
Actor Bobby Deol took to his Instagram account on Thursday to share a heartwarming post featuring his parents, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. The two celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary together. To mark the special occasion, both were seen with garlands around their necks. In the caption, Bobby wrote, 'Happy anniversary, Maa and Papa (red heart emoticons).' Another said, 'Happy Anniversary to the most lovely couple.' Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954, before his Bollywood debut. He was only 19 years old at the time. He has four children with Prakash Kaur, including actors Sunny and Bobby Deol. He met Hema Malini for the first time in 1970, while working on their film Tum Haseen Main Jawaan. The two finally married and welcomed daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol in 1981 and 1985, respectively. Bobby had a career resurgence after starring in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, which also had Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. He was also seen in Kanguva along with Suriya. Fans will see him next in the role of a villain in Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's spy film Alpha. The YRF Spy Universe film will be directed by Shiv Rawail. Dharmendra was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, a romantic comedy which starred Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

The film will also have a huge song like Jai Jai Shivshankar in War, Jhoome Jo Pathaan in Pathaan, where Alia and Sharvari will be seen grooving on the dance floor. As per a statement, the two are prepping for a lavishly mounted song sequence that promises to be nothing short of a spectacle. According to insiders, Alia and Sharvari will be presented in a never-seen-before avatar in this song and the two have been prepping for over two months to achieve the desired body and master the dance steps at YRF Studios in Mumbai. Talking about the film, Alpha is a female-led action entertainer. The film marks Alia's foray into the superstar-studded YRF Spy Universe. Alia is the first female superstar to have a YRF Spy Universe film mounted on her, thereby cementing her stature as equal to the leading men of Indian cinema. Sharvari joins Alia in this film, which is directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha will release in the big Christmas Holiday weekend of 2025. Mumbai: 'War 2' is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. The film brings Hrithik Roshan back to the instalment with the new addition of Jr NTR. As the release date approaches, the entire team is busy working on the final touches. On Wednesday, NTR started dubbing for the film. The voice referred to Kabir as "India's best soldier" and "R&AW's best agent," but said he is no longer that. The film is a sequel to the 2019 action thriller 'War,' which starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vani Kapoor in the lead roles. Directed by Siddarth Anand, this high-octane action drama minted Rs 200 crores within seven days of its release in 2019. It's touted to be one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of that year.
