WWE Has Discussed Adding New Members To Fan-Favorite Faction: Report

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A new report suggests that the dominant WWE faction led by Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman could be expanding. The group recently added powerhouse Bronson Reed to its ranks. According to two more notable names have been internally pitched to join the group. Current NXT star Ethan Page and recent free agent Ricky Starks are reportedly being considered. A History Of Ricky Starks Ricky Starks is one of the most prominent free agents in professional wrestling today. He has never had a formal run under a main WWE contract. Starks first rose to prominence in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where he became the inaugural NWA World Television Champion. He then joined All Elite Wrestling, where his charisma made him a breakout star. In AEW, Starks was a former FTW Champion and the winner of the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament. He became a free agent in early 2025 after his AEW contract expired. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - APRIL 19: Seth Rollins flips off the ropes while wrestling Roman Reigns Triple Threat match during WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium on April 19, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Page spent several years in AEW before his contract expired at the end of 2024. He made his surprise debut for WWE on the NXT brand in early 2025. He has since become a featured star on the Tuesday night show. His potential call-up to join the Raw faction would be a rapid ascent to the main roster. These internal discussions suggest WWE sees the new faction as a major project. The potential addition of two accomplished stars like Starks and Page would make the group an even more formidable force. Rollins' WWE career has been defined by the factions he has both led and destroyed. He debuted as the "Architect" of The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, orchestrating their dominance before infamously betraying them to join The Authority. As Triple H's chosen "Future of WWE," this alliance propelled him to his first WWE Championship in the "Heist of the Century" at WrestleMania 31. Years later, he transformed into the cult-like "Monday Night Messiah," leading a faction of disciples that included Murphy and AOP to enforce his vision on Monday Night Raw. "They're gonna do everything they can": WWE legend sees Seth Rollins as future face of company following a historic triumph

WWE legend sees Seth Rollins as future face of company following a historic triumph (Image Source: Getty) WWE fans are on the edge of their seats looking for the latest news regarding the future of Seth "Freakin'" Rollins after his historic win at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event that took place on June 7, 2025. And now a lot wonder if that latest victory proves he's ready to be "the face of WWE" after all. Even hardcore wrestling legend Matt Hardy dropped his two cents on WWE's apparent strategy, with a statement suggesting the company is all in on the Visionary, which only added fuel to this fire. The Architect's historic triumph and new trajectory Cliche as it is, anything for the cookie crumbles, though, and Seth Rollins won his second Men's Money in the Bank briefcase, and that is something that does indeed put you in a league of your own amongst WWE Superstars. His first cash-in at WrestleMania 31 is one of the biggest moments in WWE history, and now, fans are ready to find out how he will cash in such an opportunity. With his constantly evolving character and in-ring style, Rollins has entertained fans with his unique mixture of athleticism, charisma, and pure skill, so this win is right on time. Speculation had arisen that the Money in the Bank match could serve its purpose of launching a younger, emerging star into the title picture. WWE giving the briefcase back to Rollins, though, shows where the company wants to head. As Matt Hardy recently stated, "The Seth Rollins thing is fine. I like the fact that, you know, we thought it was a red herring. I thought it was too. I thought they would use this to elevate someone else. But they, they really have all of their momentum behind Seth Rollins right now, and they're gonna do everything they can to make Seth Rollins the guy.' The path to becoming the face of WWE Matt Hardy's comments reiterate WWE's switch when it comes to their focus on Rollins as the face of the company. The "face of WWE" position has been a fiercely fought battle for years, with an unstoppable force usually holding onto the mantle of face of the brand. Also Read: Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins achieve rare WWE championship feat This is all very serious and heelish behavior from Rollins, who has, of course, turned heel on the first night of WrestleMania 41 and been put into one of the most threatening new factions (along with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, seemingly working under Paul Heyman). This new direction, in addition to his Money in the Bank leverage, creates plenty of avenues for WWE to cement him at the top.

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 set for Inglewood with full match card revealed

WWE superstars prepare for Money in the Bank 2025, featuring ladder matches, a women's title defense, and a tag team contest live from Inglewood, California WWE will present the 16th annual Money in the Bank premium live event this weekend at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The event maintains WWE's recent trend of short-format shows and includes four matches on the main card. As customary, two of those matches will be the signature men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches. The women's Money in the Bank match features six competitors: Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Naomi, and Rhea Ripley. The field offers a balance of veteran talent and new contenders. On the men's side, Seth Rollins leads the lineup alongside LA Knight, Andrade, Solo Sikoa, Penta, and El Grande Americano. Rollins, who previously won the Money in the Bank match in 2014 and cashed in successfully at WrestleMania 31, enters as the favorite. These ladder matches will determine which male and female competitors receive future championship match opportunities at a time and place of their choosing. In the lone championship bout on the card, Lyra Valkyria will defend the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch. This marks the second meeting between the two during this title reign. Valkyria defeated Lynch last month at WWE Backlash. Per the stipulation, if Lynch fails to win, she will not be eligible to challenge for the title again during Valkyria's current reign. The card also features a tag team match with high-profile implications. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso will face the pairing of John Cena and Logan Paul. Rhodes recently lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cena at WrestleMania 41 in April. Jey Uso, meanwhile, successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Paul in a recent encounter. The match pairs longtime allies Rhodes and Uso against opponents with recent title history, contributing additional storyline context to the event. Cena and Paul team up following their respective championship pursuits, while Rhodes and Uso continue to align as key figures in WWE's top-tier narrative arcs. With the final card confirmed, WWE Money in the Bank 2025 positions itself as one of the company's major summer events. The combination of title stakes, ladder match suspense, and returning stars adds multiple layers of interest heading into the show at the Intuit Dome.

3 dream WWE matches for Sting that never happened — But should have!

Image via WWE Sting had a short tenure in WWE , wrestling only a handful of matches. Sting is one of the most renowned legends in the professional wrestling world. The man who carried WCW on his back for years was dubbed 'The Franchise' of the promotion. After WCW closed down in 2001, Sting chose to explore the outside wrestling scene and not join the giant WWE. However, after thirteen years, The Icon finally made his shocking debut in WWE at the 2014 Survivor Series event. Upon his debut, Sting was used as a part-time attraction and wrestled a few matches against stars like Triple H and Seth Rollins. Despite putting up great performances against them, here are the three WWE matches he should be a part of: 3. Bray Wyatt At the time, Sting was a part of WWE; Bray Wyatt was captivating the WWE Universe with his dark antics, mysterious personality, and vision to take the whole world in his hands. In Sting's WrestleMania debut, Wyatt himself wrestled a legend like The Undertaker , which meant that he was poised for great success. WWE should have explored a feud between Sting and Bray Wyatt after that, which would have been an exciting program to witness between the two dark forces. 2. John Cena Much like Sting, John Cena had been the Franchise Player in WWE. He was in the prime of his career during Sting's tenure in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. Moreover, Cena and Sting even teamed up for a match on Monday Night RAW, which was a memorable sight to witness. However, WWE should have had a battle between the franchises of WCW and WWE inside the squared circle, and it would have been a blockbuster showdown. 1. The Undertaker The one dream match for Sting that the fans had been longing for years was his battle against the equally respected legend and character, The Undertaker. Both men were locked room leaders for WWE and WCW during the heights of the Monday Night Wars. While both men did wrestle during the early beginnings of their careers, they did not share the ring in their prime. In fact, during Sting's time in WWE, The Undertaker was still an active performer. Yet, WWE still decided not to book this match. While it looked like it could happen at WrestleMania 31, WWE ultimately chose to go with Triple H as Sting's opponent instead of The Phenom.
