"Watar Hassas" Is Coming Back for Season 2
Yara Sameh "Watar Hassas" has been renewed for season 2. Season 1 of the series debuted on October 27 and revolved around the issue of marital infidelity and the secrets of the human psyche through three women (a doctor, a lawyer, and an employee), as the pace of events escalates due to the disputes between the lawyer and her interior designer husband, especially after she accuses him of infidelity, with the relationships between all parties becoming intertwined. The cast starred Saba Mubarak, Injy El Mokkaddem, Heidy Karam, Mohamed Alaa, Ahmed Gamal Said, Mohamed El Amroussi, Hager Afify, Mohamed Aly Rezk, Ahmed Tarek Nour, and more. "Watar Hassas" consists of 45 episodes and was produced by United Media Services. It was written by scriptwriter Amin Gamal and directed by Wael Farag. Season 2 of "Watar Hassas" takes place after the events of the first season. Ghada Adel is in negotiations to play the titular role instead of Mubarak, who will not be returning for the upcoming season. The creators of "Watar Hassas" will also add new elements to the plot to keep up with the events. Asma Abulyazeid Teams Up with Wegz and Asmaa Galal for Next Film
Yara Sameh Egyptian singer-actress Asma Abulyazeid is set to star alongside Wegz and Asmaa Galal in the film "Watar Hassas". The project was initially set to be shot under the title of "El Cinema." The plot details are being kept under wraps, except for the pic is a romantic musical hailing from Adel Arabi. "Watar Hassas" marks the rapper's feature acting debut and will begin shooting soon, with the principal photography taking place in Egypt and abroad. Abulyazeid, born on July 10, 1990, has liked acting since young, but could not act in her school because there was no school theater, which became available in college, where she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts. She participated in a large number of theatrical performances that were displayed at the Hanager Theater and competed for the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award for Best Theater Show in 2016. In 2017, Abulyazeid drew attention through her performance as Toka in the TV series "Hadha Almasa" (This Evening). Her TV credits also include "Al Nas" (2024), "Touba" (2022), "Al Ekhteyar 2: Regal El Zel" (2021), "El Ansaa Farah" (2019), Hogan" (2019), "Zodiac" (2019), "Layali Eugenie" (2018), and "'Ana shahira ... 'ana alkhayin" (2017). Abulyazeid is also known for her roles in films such as "El Daawa Ammah" (2022),"Laylat Amar 14"(2022), "Mousa" (2021), "30 March" (2021), "El Kowayeseen" (2018), and "Hadha almasa'" (2017). Wegz Hits the Big Screen, Landing His First Leading Role in ‘Watar Hassas' Alongside Asmaa Galal
Wegz lands his first-ever leading role in a feature film titled 'Watar Hassas', starring alongside Asmaa Galal, with filming set to kick off soon. Written and directed by Ali El Arabi, 'Watar Hassas' is a romantic musical set to be filmed both in Egypt and abroad. In 2023, Wegz was featured in an article in The New York Times titled 'Aiming To Make Arab Hip-Hop Global'. 'The Egyptian artist Wegz has become a streaming star without a full album' stated the article. In 2023, Wegz donated a portion of his international tour revenue to Palestinian relief. Wegz — dubbed the most listened-to rapper in recent years in Egypt by multiple streaming platforms. Wegz is the first Arab artist who made a global tour with Live Nation company. The popular Egyptian rapper is the first Arab singer to cooperate with the giant company that has cooperated with top-notch stars including Harry Styles, and The Weekend among others. During the tour, Wegz performed in the world's most prestigious venues including Apollo Theater in London and NYC's Terminal 5. It is worth mentioning that Wegz released a song titled 'Ezz El Arab' (Arabs Glory) celebrating World Cup 2022, which was held for the first time in an Arab country. Wegz performed this song which highlighted the Arab unity during the World Cup in Qatar to be the first Egyptian singer to sing in the most prestigious sports event in the world. In 2022 and for the third year in a row, Wegz was listed as the top artist on Spotify list in Egypt and the region.
