WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Evolution 2 Should Be A Two-Night Event

This past Monday Night on Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella made her return to WWE. During her promo, she put over the return of the All Women's Premium Live Event, Evolution. This will be the second edition of the PLE. A WWE Hall of Famer recently mentioned that he believes that the Evolution 2 Premium Live Event should be a two-night event, and for good reason. Advertisement The above-mentioned WWE Hall of Famer is none other than Booker T. During the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, he shared that since the women's rosters on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT are stacked, it makes perfect sense for the event to take place for two nights. 'It might have to be a two-night event because we got that much talent, the roster's stacked. I mean, it's got to be at least 20 matches,' Booker T said. 'I'm loving it, you know. I mean, like you said, we've been asking for this for a long time. I think the ladies deserve this.' [H/T He also mentioned that having an all-women's Premium Live Event does not mean that the guys are not as important. He sees this as an opportunity for WWE to show how strong it's women's division is. Advertisement 'I don't think it's taken away from the shine from the guys to let the ladies go out there and have that one night only,' he stated. 'I think it's only fitting for the talent that we have on that roster, just to show how big the women's division really is, from a star power perspective, as far as you know, how they could go out there and draw the house just like everybody else… It's not a contest between Raw and SmackDown, it's a contest between the men and women.' Booker T Gets Caught Sleeping During WWE Programming Again

It's going to be very difficult for Booker T to escape these sleeping allegations. Last month, Booker T was caught sleeping during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. While Booker would later deny these allegations on his podcast, he's been caught sleeping on WWE programming once again, this time at the broadcast booth for NXT. You can check out the embedded image below: Booker T's role on commentary for NXT The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke to Denise Salcedo about his antics on commentary and discussed his reaction to NXT Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer's move, The Devil's Kiss. 'I think she liked it,' Booker said. 'Because when she started doing it, she would point at me. And so, like, let's get ready to have some fun. So, I… A lot of people, they look at it and they go, 'Booker T just tried to steal the shine.' Advertisement 'But I tell you, like I said when I was a young wrestler coming up, the Spinarooni would not be the Spinarooni if it wasn't for a guy by the name of Mark Madden going crazy when I did the Spinarooni, and then it became a household name. So, for me, I'm trying to do the same thing for these young guys and these young girls coming up right now.' 'WWE Raw' Star Isn't Returning Anytime Soon Amid Serious Injury

'WWE Raw' Star Isn't Returning Anytime Soon Amid Serious Injury originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Don't expect one injured "WWE Raw" superstar to return to TV anytime soon. Throughout the wrestling industry, injuries have derailed several plans and have halted careers. AEW fans continue to wait for Eddie Kingston to make his return after he suffered a torn ACL and meniscus, as well as a tibial fracture. Future WWE Hall of Famer Asuka has been out of action for a year due to a knee injury, and she reportedly isn't ready to return. Advertisement There is another name who isn't expected to be back in the fold in the near future. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reports that Zoey Stark will likely miss "WrestleMania" season in 2026 due to her serious knee injury. Stark suffered the injury during an MITB qualifier on the May 19 episode of "Monday Night Raw." Zoey Stark delivers a clothesline to Ivy Nile during a "WWE Raw" match.(via WWE) Stark shared the ring with Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane in a triple threat. Stark attempted a springboard missile dropkick on Sane, but she landed awkwardly. The former Pure Fusion Collective member immediately grabbed her knee and yelled out in pain. Stark had to be carried to the backstage area and couldn't complete the match. It's the same knee that Stark injured back in 2021. She tore her ACL and meniscus during a triple threat tag team ladder match on the "Halloween Havoc" edition of "NXT." Stark was back in the ring in less than a full year. Advertisement Stark's in-ring abilities didn't suffer after recovering from her first knee surgery. Many are wondering if the "WWE Raw" superstar can have the same recovery success this go-around. Pro wrestling commentator Jim Ross diagnosed with colon cancer

Longtime pro wrestling commentator Jim Ross has colon cancer. The 73-year-old Ross said in a social media post that he was diagnosed this week and is scheduled to have surgery in the next two weeks. 'I appreciate your concern and support,' he said. Ross is best known for his time with World Wrestling Entertainment from 1993 to 2013. His catch phrases have seeped into popular culture and made him one of the most popular wrestling play-by-play voices of all time. The line, 'My God' or 'By God,' said in his Oklahoma accent after a particularly shocking moment, is perhaps his most famous. Other emphatic calls such as 'He's broken in half' and 'That man has a family' often replace the original commentary over hard-hitting football highlights on social media. Ross is an avid Oklahoma Sooners football fan and booster who often has walked to the ring with the school's fight song, 'Boomer Sooner,' playing. Ross, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007, has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2019. 'All Elite Wrestling joins fans around the world in sending love and support to Jim Ross as he battles colon cancer. J.R. is a valued member of the AEW family, and we stand beside him during his journey toward recovery,' AEW said in a statement. ___ AP sports:
