WCSO: Jonesborough man attempts to flee drug charges, runs out of gas
JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — A Jonesborough man was arrested on multiple drug charges Wednesday, according to a release from the Washington County, Tennessee, Sheriff's Office (WCSO). The release said deputies observed a red motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Old State Route 34 around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The driver allegedly attempted to evade deputies but was apprehended on Bill West Road after it is believed he ran out of gas. Two Abingdon men arrested after narcotics investigation During the pursuit, deputies reportedly observed the man throwing items from his pockets. According to the sheriff's office, they then located a purple pill container containing a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine (0.5 grams); a silver pill container containing two pills believed to be Hydrocodone; and a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana (three grams). The driver was identified as Clark McInturff, 65. He was charged with the following: Evading Arrest Manufacture/Delivery/Sell/Possession of Methamphetamine Driving While in Possession of Methamphetamine Two counts of Simple Possession/Casual Exchange Driving on a Revoked License Expired Registration He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $24,000 bond. Wanted fugitive from Georgia arrested in Washington County
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Washington County's Sheriff's Office arrested a wanted fugitive from Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday evening. According to a news release, the WCSO received a BOLO shortly after 6 p.m. for a white 2000 Buick Sedan being driven by 62-year-old Melvin Sutton. Authorities said that Sutton was being searched for on the charges of felony murder and three counts of neglect to a disabled adult. The WCSO conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle traveling north on State Road 77. A hit was sent and the warrant was confirmed. MISSING: Anna and Ariana Mullin
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office in Indiana is asking the public to help locate a woman and her granddaughter. According to the sheriff's office, Ariana Mullin, 3, and Anna Mullin, 66, have not been seen since June 4. The sheriff's office says investigators believe Anna did not comply with a court order and allegedly took the 3-year-old. 'The situation stems from a court-ordered custody arrangement that directed the child be turned over to the custodial parent,' said WCSO. 'However, the child has not been returned, and her current whereabouts are unknown.' Anna is 5-foot 5-inches, 140 pounds and has brown eyes. She also wears glasses. Ariana is 3-foot and 40 pounds. The 3-year-old has red hair and blue eyes. The 66-year-old is believed to be driving a maroon Ford F-150 pickup truck with Indiana license plate CG3920. Man arrested for Sunday night murder in Ware County
The Ware County Sheriff's Office announced Monday afternoon that a suspect has been arrested for murder following a shooting Sunday night. Deputies responded to a home on Manor Millwood Road North around 10:30 P.M. Sunday after receiving a call about a man being shot. The victim, 52-year-old Henry Joseph McClellan, was found unresponsive and declared dead shortly after, according to WCSO. >>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<< After a short investigation, the murder suspect was identified as Clinton Matt 'Hank' Landrum, who had already left the scene before deputies arrived. He was eventually found and arrested by law enforcement in Wayne County for murder Monday afternoon, and officials say he's likely to face additional charges. 'Anyone in the public is asked to come forward and tell us any information they might have about the case,' said Ware County Sheriff Carl James. 'I would also like to sincerely thank Sheriff Chuck Moseley, his exceptional Deputies, and other law enforcement in Wayne County for their efforts in getting Landrum arrested to face the murder charge here in Ware County.' WCSO expects him to be transferred to the Ware County Jail later Monday and have a first appearance in court on Tuesday.
