Vicky Pattison slams Meghan Markle's 'cringe' move as Duchess 'gave her the ick'
Former Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison has revealed that one moment in Meghan Markle's Netflix series, involving a Hollywood star, made her 'get the ick' 'I'm A Celebrity' alum Vicky Pattison expressed her disgust about Meghan Markle 's controversial moment on her Netflix show. In a candid chat with co-host Angela Scanlon during their 'Get A Grip' podcast, they delved into the life of the Duchess of Sussex. Vicky couldn't hide her disappointment when recounting how Meghan, in her 'With Love, Meghan' series, told off Mindy Kaling for calling her by her maiden name, instead of Sussex. On the moment, Vicky said: "When Meghan corrected Mindy Kaling. And I like that Mindy, I think she's alright. "So I was like, 'Oh'. There's no way I'm slapping my pal's wrist on my Netflix series just for something like that. I really got the ick." Still, Vicky admitted that initially, she was rooting for Meghan and Prince Harry's decision to distance themselves from Royal duties. She reflected: "Harry's obviously unhappy in his role in the Royal Family. If he wants to take a step back.." She added praise for the Prince's independent streak, she explained: "He's always been a bit rebellious, a bit rogue. I was actually all for them retreating off into the distance, bringing up their gorgeous little kids, being really happy." However, Vicky questioned the couple's judgment following the release of footage depicting the couple twerking in the delivery room on Princess Lillibet's fourth birthday, saying it probably didn't do them any favours. She summarised: "Ultimately, the general consensus is that it's a bag of cringe on toast." Vicky's comments come just days after she discussed the effect of PMDD (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder) on her relationship with her partner Ercan Ramadan. In a candid chat with Elizabeth Day for the How To Fail podcast, Vicky delved into how the illness impacts her everyday life. Expressing her anguish, she said: "It absolutely kills me that for a quarter of our life, I am not the person that he fell in love with, and not the person that he thought he was marrying. "Because that is the reality, I'm not myself. I'm not recognisable at all. I could be screaming one second and sobbing the next, then completely disassociating, unable to be social, lost, afraid, whatever it is – however it's manifesting itself that week." Explaining the emotional burden it places on their relationship, she added: "He's had to learn to love that version of me as well. And that is really difficult. And that is not something I would ask of me worst enemy, let alone the man I love more than anything else in the world." Vicky also expressed immense pride in how Ercan has adapted to her struggles with PMDD, highlighting his reaction as a genuine reflection of his character. She added: "It is a true testament to him and his character that he's learned to understand it because not every man does. I found the one thing that helps is communication. "So saying to him [...] I'm coming into PMDD week. And he goes, 'That's okay. Like, we'll just take it slow'." Vicky and Ercan tied the knot back in August 2024, around five years since their path first crossed through mutual friends in 2019.

Blackmail horror for EastEnders teenager as sexual predator Joel targets another victim
EASTENDERS villain Joel Marshall has sunk to a new low - by blackmailing Tommy Moon over the sick sexual assault. The teenage incel tricked his pal Tommy into filming a prank on the tube that was actually a pre-meditated sexual assault on a random woman. 2 Joel was caught after the woman complained and Tommy fled, horrified at what had happened. In today's episode Tommy was cornered by Joel's stepmother Vicky who threatened him into keeping quiet or she would ensure he suffered for Joel's actions too. Despite Vicki's threats, Tommy spent most of the day trying to avoid Joel, determined to escape his grasp. But when he found him in the cafe, he had no choice and tried to put distance between them. However Joel wasn't having any of it. Instead, the incel creep decided to force Tommy to be his friend with a vile threat. Tommy told him: 'All I'm saying is… we might not be able to hang out as much.' Joel replied: 'Meh. Do what you like. I'm ain't really that bothered. Just don't forget who your real mates are. I ain't told Vicki about you having that video. I easily could've done, I thought we were good.' He then told Tommy that he could delete the video so he didn't get in trouble - and just asked him to forward it to him first. Tommy fell for it and then Joel told him: 'You do know that you're not completely off the hook though, right? EastEnders fans horrified as incel plot takes very dark twist and Joel's actions are exposed 'Well now it's on my phone and it's obvious that you filmed it and you shared it with me. 'Don't look so worried. We're mates again so I'm not going to snitch on you just like you're not going to snitch on me.' Tommy looked trapped by Joel's threats and things are only going to get worse for the troubled teenager.

'I won a £6m mansion on Omaze - three months later I don't have the keys after complaint'
'I won a £6m mansion on Omaze - three months later I don't have the keys after complaint' Vicky Curtis-Cresswell, 38, won the three-acre, seven-bedroom property in Norfolk on February 28 - but has not yet received the keys to the house The Omaze house in Norfolk that was won by Vicky (Image: Omaze / SWNS ) The winner of a £6 million Omaze home is still awaiting the handover of her new mansion nearly three months after securing the win in the competition draw. Former Miss Wales contender Vicky Curtis-Cresswell, 38, shared her joy upon discovering she had secured the beautiful Larkfields residence in Norfolk this February, saying "an enormous weight had been lifted." This particular home set a record as the priciest house ever awarded in a UK lottery and contributed a whopping £4 million to Comic Relief. Yet beneath the idyllic surface, the property has a number of significant hitches. Big selling points like the tennis court and swimming pool—heavily featured in Omaze's advertising campaigns—apparently do not have planning consent. The stately home, inspired by the opulent coastal retreats of the Hamptons in Long Island, is also larger than its approved dimensions, reports the Mirror. Council authorities at North Norfolk District Council started an inquiry, sparked by a public grievance filed in March that alleged the building did not comply with its approved plans, as reported by the BBC. Victoria Curtis-Cresswell with husband Dale (Image: Mark Field Photography / Omaze / SWNS ) Omaze has acknowledged it will be seeking retrospective planning permission for the property. The firm maintains that such issues went undetected during initial inspections before they purchased it. Article continues below Whilst The Mirror has reached out for a statement, a representative from Omaze had previously informed the Mail that: "Omaze continues to work with North Norfolk District Council in relation to recommendations made regarding the property in Norfolk. Omaze has submitted a pre-application to the council and is submitting a retrospective planning application." The firm reaffirmed its commitment that winners of its house raffles would not have to deal with any costs related to past planning issues. It was emphasised that all houses won as prizes come with good and marketable title for the new owners. The company's spokesperson shared: "Omaze will transfer ownership of the property to the winner once all planning matters are resolved." Should the council officers decide to refuse the retrospective planning permission, the local authority may ask the firm to amend the property so it conforms to the original plans. Vicky, who had never owned a home before seizing the prize following her £10 ticket purchase, said she planned to sell the prize home in order to buy a property back in Wales. Vicky plans to sell the £6m home (Image: Omaze / SWNS ) She currently lives in Wales with her husband, Dale, aged 41, and their young daughter at the three-bedroom house of her in-laws. They were searching for rental accommodation when they struck luck with the win. "I was absolutely flabbergasted—my sister-in-law burst out crying. It was a mixture of pure shock and joy," Vicky told journalists in March. "Like a lot of people, it's fair to say times can be tough. We both work so hard, but things can still feel stretched some months. Winning this house feels like an enormous weight has been lifted." Article continues below The 5,000 sq ft estate features a summer house, an all-weather AstroTurf tennis court, furnishings valued at £165,000, and a cash sum of £250,000. North Norfolk District Council stated they were anticipating an application from the owners to attempt to "regularise the current breaches of planning control." The council expected the application to be submitted by the end of the month. The Mirror has contacted the council for a statement.
