AP: Minister Subhash distributes aid to 20 ailing people

Kakinada, June 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Labour Vasamsetti Subhash said the government is committed to the welfare of the poor and has extended all help to those ailing for their medical treatment. Apart from the CM Relief Fund, he said, his family, through the Satyam Vasamsetti Foundation, was also extending financial assistance to the poor and needy. Distributing financial assistance of Rs.22.12 lakhs from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to twenty beneficiaries for their medical assistance at a function held at Ramachandrapuram today, the Minister said so far over Rs.1 Crore assistance was extended from the CM Relief Fund in his constituency. He said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was extending help to poverty stricken families in the manner of an elder son. The Government was sincere in fulfilling all its election eve assurances and going ahead with all-round development of the state along with welfare schemes, he added. 64-year-old man tested postive for COVID-19 in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district

A 64-year-old man has been tested positive for COVID-19 in K. Gangavaram Mandal in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on Saturday. According to an official release issued by Labour Minister Vasamsetti Subhash, the patient has been shifted to Government General Hospital in Kakinada, where he is being treated in a special COVID-19 ward. His health condition is said to be stable. Mr. Subhash has stated that all the precautionary measures have been taken to prevent further spread in the village, where the first COVID-19 case was recorded on Saturday.

Kakinada, Apr 30 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Labour Vasamsetti Subhash has distributed fourteen Power tillers to farmers at a function held at Draksharama Market yard on Wednesday. Stressing the need for mechanisation, he said farming would be economical and remunerative as the government was supplying power tillers and extending subsidies. Rs.1 lakh on power tillers and Rs.50,000 on Rotavators was available as subsidy. Drones were also available to the farmer groups on subsidy for spraying pesticide and fertilizers,' he added. Ensure drinking water supply during summer in Krishna district, Minister tells officials

Officials should ensure that none faces any drinking water problem in Krishna district during this summer season, Minister for Labour and Factories Vasamsetti Subhash has said. Participating in the District Review Committee meeting at the Zilla Parishad meeting hall in Machilipatnam on Thursday, Mr. Subhash, also the Krishna district In Charge Minister, expressed happiness at the students from the district scoring well in both Class X and Inter examinations. After condemning the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam and observing two minutes of silence for the victims, the Minister went on to say that every person's role was important in making the district perform well on all indices. While reviewing the performance of different departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Water Resources, and MGNREGS, the Minister stressed the need for officials to raise awareness among farmers about the crop insurance scheme and commended the officials for settling 95% of the claims made by dairy farmers. Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra, who was also present in the meeting, said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu aimed to achieve a growth rate of 15% for the State. If the Gross State Domestic Product reached 15%, then the State would lead the country in economic growth, he added. Aligning with the Chief Minister's goals for the State, the district should have comprehensive plans for development of every sector, he said, adding that the officials had already identified marginalised people, who comprise the golden families (Bangaru Kutumbham), under the Zero Poverty P4 initiative. He said the Chief Minister would release funds for the fisherfolk community, affected by the ban on fishing, on April 26. In Krishna district, 2,000 people would receive the financial assistance, he said, adding that the Machilipatnam port would be ready by December 2026. District Collector D.K. Balaji, APSRTC Chairman K. Narayana Rao, MLAs Yarlagadda Venkata Rao, Mandali Buddha Prasad, K. Krishna Prasad, Varla Kumar Raja, MLC Kalpalatha Reddy and other officials were present in the meeting.
