Investigation underway into alleged homicide on Sturgeon Lake First Nation
An investigation is underway after a person was found dead by Valleyview RCMP on Sturgeon Lake First Nation early Sunday morning.
Police believe it was an isolated incident but added that there will be a heavy police presence on the Nation Sunday.
They asked that people avoid the area and ask that people don't post anything about police activity on social media to ensure police and and public safety.
