When it comes to Dyson, the cost-to-performance ratio can seem steep, particularly with some hoovers priced over £500 for the latest model.
However, if summer cleaning is still on shoppers' minds, we might have a bargain on one of Dyson's top hoovers with a whopping £150 off the price. The Dyson V12 Absolute Slim is currently £399 - down from the original £549.99 price for a limited time - but there's a way to get it even cheaper.

The V12 Absolute Slim has excellent suction, weighs hardly anything and can work on hard floors and soft carpets. It comes with a Dyson Motorbar cleaner head that sucks up dirt and dust.
This automatically de-tangles hair while hair screw tool de-tangles long hair and pet hair from fabric surfaces. Dyson also claims it has 60 minutes of battery life from full.
Shoppers can swap modes from Eco, Auto and Boost, depending on battery life and how mucky the home is. It also has an optic cleaner head which highlights dust and dirt around the home in those hard-to-reach places, and comes with a free floor dock.

At Argos, the Shark Anti-Wrap cordless vacuum cleaner is currently £250. The vacuum has a 4.6 rating and more than 2,000 five-star ratings.
Customers have been singing its praises, with one saying they "love it." They added: "I bought this for my 85-year-old mam. It's light and does a great job! We love it."

However, some customers did express dissatisfaction about the dust bin on the vacuum being small. The same reviewer added: "I agree with other reviewers that the dust bin is a lot smaller than my other Dyson (which is still going strong after 11 years) this just means more trips to the bin.
"I particularly like the hard floor head with the light, it runs smoothly on hard floors and gets all the dust from against the skirting boards."
