FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Flamengo vs Chelsea live time, streaming

Chelsea are looking to secure consecutive wins in their 2025 Club World Cup campaign as they prepare to face Flamengo in their second Group D match. The Blues opened their tournament with a solid 2–0 victory over LAFC, thanks to goals from Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernández in front of a modest crowd in Atlanta. With that win, they've taken a significant step toward the round of 16, though head coach Enzo Maresca is likely to caution his squad against overconfidence. After a strong finish to the 2024–25 season, Chelsea aim to carry that momentum into the Club World Cup. However, their next challenge is a formidable one in the form of Brazilian giants Flamengo. Flamengo, managed by former Chelsea left-back Filipe Luís, come into the clash on the back of a convincing 2–0 win over Espérance de Tunis in their opening fixture. Under the 39-year-old coach's guidance, the 2022 Copa Libertadores champions will be eager to continue their push for a spot in the knockout rounds. Flamengo team news Flamengo are expected to stick with a largely unchanged lineup following their comfortable win in the previous match, meaning former Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is set to make his second appearance for the Brazilian side. The 33-year-old, who joined on a free transfer from Arsenal, made an impact on his debut by providing an assist against Espérance de Tunis. Uruguayan playmaker Giorgian de Arrascaeta is likely to be the key threat to Chelsea's defence, having already opened his goal tally in the tournament. Operating in the number ten role, the 31-year-old will be central to Flamengo's attacking play. Meanwhile, Nicolás de la Cruz, who missed the opening match due to an ankle injury, remains doubtful for the clash with Chelsea. However, former Juventus left-back Alex Sandro is expected to return to the starting lineup. Chelsea team news Similar to his counterpart Luís, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is expected to stick with a largely unchanged starting XI from their opening match. However, Enzo Fernández is likely to come in for Roméo Lavia in midfield, following his impressive goal-scoring display in the first game. Summer signings Liam Delap and Dário Essugo, who made their debuts off the bench against LAFC, may see more action as substitutes in Friday's clash. Meanwhile, Mamadou Sarr, Aarón Anselmino, and Andrey Santos will be eager to make their first appearances for the club in Philadelphia. Darwin Nunez approves transfer to next club but Liverpool set 'difficult' price

Darwin Nunez has agreed to join Napoli with Liverpool setting a €70 million (£59.8m) asking price for the striker, according to reports in Italy. The Uruguay international, who joined Liverpool for an initial £64m fee from Benfica three years ago, looks set to leave Anfield this summer after failing to secure a regular role under Arne Slot. Nunez made 47 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring seven goals, but started just eight games in the Premier League. According to Sky Sport Italy, Napoli have begun talks to sign Nunez and the25-year-old has 'already given the ok' to joining the Serie A champions. However, Napoli view Liverpool's €70m (£59.8m) of Nunez as 'difficult' to meet. Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro's Football Newsletter. Liverpool are demanding €65m (£55.6m) up front, plus an additional €5m (£4.2m) in bonuses. Napoli are exploring alternative options and are also in talks with Udinese for Lorenzo Lucca, who scored 12 goals in Serie A last season. More Trending Nunez, meanwhile, has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid and it's understood that the Uruguayan has also reached a verbal agreement with Diego Simeone's side. So far this summer, Liverpool have already completed the signing of Jeremie Frimpong in a €35m (£29.6m) deal from Bayer Leverkusen. The Premier League champions are also set to finalise their £116 million deal with Leverkusen to sign Florian Wirtz. Milos Kerkez is also expected to join from Bournemouth, with the left-back's father describing it as a 'done deal' with Liverpool earlier this week. For more stories like this, check our sport page. Napoli Lead Milan in Race for Liverpool Outcast Nunez

Napoli are working on two options to round out their frontline, Darwin Nunez and Lorenzo Lucca, and are ahead of the competition, coming from Milan in both cases, to sign them from Liverpool and Udinese. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Uruguayan marksman has received a lucrative offer from Al Nassr. However, he'd like to stay in Europe. The Rossoneri moved for him after the Serie A champions. Liverpool paid €75M to acquire him from Benfica a couple of years ago. His valuation has decreased since his spell hasn't gone as expected, but it's still large. The Reds want around €50M. He has notched 40 goals and 26 assists in 143 matches at Anfield. Advertisement Napoli have been in touch with the agent of Nunez over the last couple of days, but the deal isn't in its homestretch, neither with them nor Milan, Fabrizio Romano reports (via SOSFanta). As for Lucca, the Partenopei aren't far from the finish line. They have offered €25M, while Udinese ask for €5M more, Il Roma informs. His personal terms aren't a problem. They have gained the pole position over other sides. Though, they are waiting to see what happens with their other priority target. Our Take on Napoli and Milan Tussling for Nunez and Lucca The former is an easy bet to bounce back after a change of scenery, especially under a coach who can bring the best out of anybody like Antonio Conte. Still, while their new striker would play a lot because Romelu Lukaku will need to be managed, that's a massive fee for somebody who wouldn't be the unquestioned star of the team. The Rossoneri already invested a lot in the position in January and should safeguard that.
