While others try their luck for the next exam. In this article, this candidate, son of an auto driver, cracked the UPSC CSE exam at just 21 years old. IAS Ansar hails from Maharashtra's Jalna village in the Marathwada district. Speaking about his family, his father used to drive an auto rickshaw for a living. While his mother used to work in the fields. If media reports are to be believed, Ansar's younger brother had to leave school in the 7th class to work at a garage to help the family financially. Furthermore, his sister had to get married at just 15 years old. Going by the report(2022), Ansar's father, Yonus Sheikh Ahmad, struggled with alcohol addiction. He got married thrice. Ansar's mother is Yonus Sheikh Ahmad's second wife. During his childhood days, Ansar had to witness domestic violence and child marriage. And her sister's marriage at 15 is an exemplary example. Ansar Shaikh cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2016 with an impressive All India Rank(AIR) of 361. Media reports suggest that he obtained 91 per cent in the Class 10th exam. Later, he pursued his graduation from Pune College. For the UPSC Option subject, Ansar chose Political Science. For the unversed, he decided to take the UPSC Mains and personality test in Marathi. He scored 693 marks in the written examination, 199 marks in the personality test. Overall, he scored 892 marks.

Aastha Singh is originally from Panchkula, Punjab. Her father Brijesh Singh works as a quality head in a pharma company based in Panchkula, Haryana. Aastha Singh's ancestral home is in Kushahan Kanaura village located in Dobhi tehsil of Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Aastha Singh has studied from Delhi University. She has done her graduation in Economics Honours from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. Along with college, she also started preparing for civil services. During this time, she also appeared for Haryana PCS exam. Aastha Singh also got success in the HPSC exam conducted by Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC). She is currently posted as Additional Excise and Taxation Officer in the Haryana Government. Aastha Singh prepared for the UPSC Civil Service Examination without any coaching. She focused on self study. This time she has got rank 61 in UPSC. Aastha Singh has cleared a difficult exam like UPSC in the very first attempt.
