5-yr-old swimmers to cross Yamuna
Prayagraj: Two five-year-old swimmers, Aditi Khanna and Saksham Sahu, are all set to cross Yamuna River in Prayagraj on June 22. The children will attempt to swim across a stretch of around 700 meters in width and depth of nearly 30 feet.
The training and event are being organised under the aegis of the Navjeevan Swimming Club. This year's camp is being held under the guidance of chief coach and secretary of the UP Kayaking and Canoeing Association Tribhuvan Nishad, along with Kamla Nishad and Limca Book of Records awardee and national-level swimmer Srishti Nishad. Also assisting in the training are Manas Nishad and Pooja Kapoor professional swimmers.
Tribhuvan Nishad said , both Aditi and Saksham underwent intensive training. tnn
