Over 3 million people benefit from Islamic Affairs Ministry's services during 2025 Hajj season
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Over three million people have benefited from the services of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in Makkah, Madinah, the holy sites, and border entry points across various regions of Saudi Arabia during the 2025 Hajj season. This comes as part of an operational plan aimed at promoting religious awareness and facilitating the performance of rituals in accordance with the principles of moderation and balance. The ministry's key initiatives included supplying over 1.6 million liters of water at Namirah Mosque in Arafat. It conducted 125,000 awareness activities in Makkah and Madinah, with 1,700 scholars and preachers providing direct religious guidance. Over 1.4 million educational materials, including books, brochures, and digital cards explaining ritual rulings, were distributed. Additionally, nearly 100 million multilingual awareness text messages were sent to pilgrims in various locations. Through its digital platforms, the ministry broadcast 43 educational video episodes on its official YouTube channel. Its toll-free Islamic awareness hotline received over 500,000 calls, and four million video messages in multiple languages were displayed on 340 digital screens in Miqat mosques and hotel prayer areas near the Grand Mosque. Additionally, over 25,000 volunteers participated across various regions of the Kingdom, contributing more than 124,000 volunteer hours through opportunities provided by the ministry to serve pilgrims. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Gift of copies of the Holy Qur'an was distributed among departing pilgrims at various border crossings.

Islamic Affairs Ministry greets 500 Palestinian pilgrims as King's guests
Saudi Gazette report MAKKAH — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has welcomed the first group of 500 Palestinian pilgrims from the West Bank, comprising families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded. They came for Hajj under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. This is in line with a generous directive from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to host a total of 1,000 pilgrims from these Palestinian families at his own personal expense. Upon their arrival in the Kingdom, the ministry's field committees provided comprehensive services, including escorting them to their accommodations in Makkah, organizing their transportation, and ensuring all their needs were met. These efforts aimed to enable the guests to perform their Hajj rituals in an atmosphere of peace and comfort.

Blind pilgrim fulfills Hajj dream through Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests program
1 June 2025 14:24 Makkah (SPA)A blind Yemeni pilgrim and Imam of a mosque in Taiz, Sheikh Majid Al-Khudairi, expressed profound joy upon his arrival in Makkah to perform Hajj as the pilgrimage was facilitated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, which is overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. The program is operated in accordance with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under the direct supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Sheikh Al-Khudairi shared his journey, which began with a television interview where he voiced his aspiration to perform Hajj, leading to an immediate invitation to the program. "I never saw the Kaaba with my own eyes, but I felt its majesty touching my heart," he remarked. "My tears preceded my steps as I arrived at the two holy mosques. My feelings of faith overflowed within me as I sensed the sanctity of the place and the magnificence of the rituals."He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people for their dedicated efforts in serving Islam and Muslims."I am deeply grateful to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for this great generosity and generous care."I never expected to be able to perform Hajj due to my health condition, but the Kingdom, with its wise leadership, opened the door of hope for me," he stated. Al-Khudairi also lauded the comprehensive services provided by the ministry to the program's guests.

Saudi King Salman Orders Hosting Of 1,000 Palestinian Pilgrims From Affected Families For Hajj
RIYADH, May 20 (Bernama-SPA) -- Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued directives to host 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded Palestinian people to perform hajj this year, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. The report stated that King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is sponsoring them at his own expense to perform Hajj this year, 1446 AH, as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Programme for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. On this occasion, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of the programme Sheikh Dr Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for this generous gesture.

HM King invited by Saudi to attend GCC–US Summit
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received an invitation from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to attend the GCC–US Summit to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh. The invitation was delivered to HM the King by His Excellency Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, during an official reception at Al Safriya Palace yesterday. HM King Hamad expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the invitation, commending the deep-rooted and historic ties between the two Kingdoms and the continued development of bilateral cooperation across all sectors for the benefit of both peoples. Healso commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' efforts to further develop Bahrain–Saudi relations and lauded Saudi Arabia's role in advancing Gulf cooperation, strengthening cooperation among GCC member states, and reinforcing regional peace, security, and stability. His Majesty wished the GCC– US Summit success in promoting regional security, protecting the interests of its countries and peoples, supporting Gulf causes, and enhancing strategic partnership and cooperation with the US.
