31-Year-Old Singer-Influencer Dies After Botched Cosmetic Surgery In Turkey
A 31-year-old singer and influencer from Mozambique died on Sunday, hours after a botched cosmetic surgery in Turkey. According to Turkiye Today, Ana Barbara Buhr Buldrini travelled to Istanbul with her husband, renowned Mozambican artist Elgar Sueia, to undergo a breast augmentation, liposuction and a nose job. The hospital had entered a commercial agreement with the influencer, according to which she was receiving the procedures free of charge in return for promoting the clinic. But hours after the procedure at Tusa Hospital in Istanbul, she went into cardiac arrest and tragically died. Mr Sueia, who married the 31-year-old a month ago, said it was his wife's dream to "improve her aesthetic standards," the outlet reported. Following the procedure, he was informed by medical personnel that his wife's heart had slowed down. In an emotional account of what happened next, he stated, "I lost control. I cried, shouted, and punched the walls. I saw her in the morgue. She is looking beautiful, but she was dead." Mr Sueia also alleged that his wife was taken into surgery earlier than scheduled, just days after an initial consultation, and without any urgent medical indication. He also claimed that the 31-year-old was not appropriately prepared for the operation. The surgery, he said, required fasting, but she was operated on after having eaten. According to Turkiye Today, the hospital had previously faced scrutiny over other surgery-related deaths and had recently changed its name. It reportedly issued a written statement outlining its version of events. The hospital stated that the influencer had been referred to as a dental surgery patient. She had been given full legal and medical information and had signed all necessary consent forms. The surgery was conducted under standard operating conditions, but it resulted in an "unexpected complication" during the recovery phase, the hospital said. Further, it explained that the 31-year-old experienced ventricular fibrillation, a serious heart rhythm disturbance, and suffered cardiac arrest. Medical staff attempted to revive her for over 90 minutes but were unsuccessful. "Despite all efforts by our expert anesthesiology team, the patient could not be resuscitated," the hospital said. It added that legal procedures had been initiated to determine the definitive cause of death and that they were cooperating with authorities.

Singer who died having boob and nose job 'partied with surgeon night before'
Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini, a 31-year-old singer from Mozambique, died at a hospital in Turkey just hours after receiving a breast augmentation, liposuction and a nose job A heartbroken husband has paid tribute to his "beautiful" wife who died just hours after undergoing plastic surgery. Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini travelled to Turkey last Friday, alongside Elgar Miles from their home in Mozambique, to undergo a breast augmentation, liposuction and a nose job. The 31-year-old singer went into cardiac arrest shortly after the procedures at Tusa Hospital in Istanbul and tragically died. Mr Miles, who only married Mrs Buldrini a month ago, said it was his wife's dream to "improve her aesthetic standards". Allegedly receiving the procedures in return for promoting Tusa Hospital, the couple are said to have partied with the physician doing the surgeries in Istanbul on Saturday night, G1 reports, via Mail online. According to Mr Miles, who is an artist himself, his wife was taken into surgery earlier than scheduled, just two days after an initial consultation. "'Due to scheduling issues, the surgeon decided to bring it forward to Sunday," he said. "We went to the clinic on Sunday just to see the place, but the doctor wanted to perform the procedure without Ana being prepared." Despite allegedly being out the night before, Mr Miles claims his wife was persuaded to go ahead. "The doctor assured me that there were no problems and that everything would be fine," he told G1 news outlet. Mrs Buldrini underwent the procedures and was out of the operating room by 11pm Sunday. Her heart allegedly began to slow down, however, and Mr Miles noticed a change in the staff's mood. "They told me to go to the room, the assistants were acting strangely. I waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive her," he said. "I went down to the ground floor and a doctor said that her heart was beating slowly, another said that she was already dead." In a statement obtained by Turkish outlet Turkiye Today, Tusa Hospital stated that the singer had been given full legal and medical information and had signed all necessary consent forms before the procedures. There was "an unexpected complication" during the recovery phase, the hospital said, and Mrs Buldrini experienced ventricular fibrillation, a serious heart rhythm disturbance, and suffered cardiac arrest. Medical staff attempted to revive her for but were unsuccessful. 'Despite all efforts by our expert anesthesiology team, the patient could not be resuscitated,' the statement read. Mr Miles, who married his wife in May in Maputo, Mozambique, six years after meeting in Rome, has been left devastated. "She was the person who cared for me the most, who loved me the most, who believed in me the most," he said. "I just want justice to be done and for this case to serve as an example for all people who want to undergo a type of medical intervention like the one Ana underwent." In a tribute posted on his Instagram page, Mr Miles said: "Our last few days were too beautiful to end this tragically. I will love you forever because I chose you for that. Years and years of building our empire for today I'm here in this room alone with no floor. "I promised to protect and love you like the queen and beautiful person you are inside and out. It doesn't seem fair living this life without you, not really. I want to be wherever you are because none of this makes sense without you." According to the hospital's statement, legal procedures have been initiated to determine cause of death. The hospital say they are fully cooperating with authorities.

Last Updated: Pakistan has backed Iran against Israel since the beginning of the conflict, citing Muslim unity. However, no open nuclear statement has been made so far in support of Iran. Pakistan has conveyed to Iran that if Israel nukes Tehran, Islamabad will launch a nuclear weapon against the Jewish country, Iran's top general said during an interview with the nation's state television. Indian YouTuber Malik Swashbuckler causes uproar with vulgar remarks on Turkish woman
Malik Swashbuckler in Turkey (image redit: X/@sagarmalik1985) An Indian YouTuber has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. While travelling in Turkey, Malik SD Khan, known online as Malik Swashbuckler, engaged in a demeaning conversation with a local woman, which he captured in a video and posted on the social media channel. Khan made sexually explicit and derogatory comments about the Turkish woman in Hindi, presumably intended to go unnoticed by locals, but was quickly flagged by social media users, leading to widespread outrage and calls against the YouTuber. In one particularly disturbing video, Malik reportedly asked his viewers if he should sexually assault his Turkish guide that night. Another clip showed him entering a Turkish shop, demanding to know why there was no Indian flag on display, and using abusive language towards the shopkeeper. Khan also used foul language and objectifying Turkish women, even referring to them as 'maal' and 'item' in one clip. These videos, among others, were shared on his YouTube and Instagram accounts but have since been deleted. The backlash was swift, with many Turkish citizens expressing anger and calling for legal action against the YouTuber. According to reports from Turkiye Today, Malik was detained by Turkish authorities last week in connection with the offensive content. In response to the controversy, Malik posted a video on his YouTube, Instagram, and X accounts apologising to Turkish women. "I apologise with all my heart. It was never my intention to offend or upset anyone. If my words or actions have hurt anyone, please know that it was completely unintentional. It truly pains me to know that I have upset people. I have questioned myself, and I promise to be much more careful from now on. With respect and love, I truly, sincerely apologise," he wrote in a post that was originally in Turkish. "I have reflected on myself and promise to be much more careful from now on. With respect and love. I truly and sincerely apologise." The controversy also comes at a time when India-Turkey relations are under strain, following Ankara's support to Pakistan on Operation Sindoor. However social media users brushed aside the geopolitical tensions and firmly backed police action, calling it well deserved. "Deserved to say the least. Anyone going abroad represents his or her country. Disrespecting others should be punishable,' said one individual. 'I hope he remains behind bars in Turkey. This is unacceptable to go as a tourist and then abuse the locals,' wrote another Indian X user.
