Man charged with murder in 2023 cold case, police say
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man has been charged with murder after a two-year cold case where a man was shot and dropped off at a fire station in 2023, according to Memphis police.
On June 13, at 10 p.m., officers responded to the 4700 block of Horn Lake Road, where a man was suffering from a gunshot wound and was dropped off at a fire station.
The victim was transported to Regional One in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
MPD arrests over 120 people in Operation Code Zero
Investigators say Travis Finley, 34, was identified as the suspect. He has been charged with Second-Degree Murder and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
He was arrested on Friday and was taken into custody and transported to 201 Poplar Avenue. His bond has been set at $300,000.
