Traitors boss halts filming to allow for Highland mum's funeral
The family of the late woman have thanked The Traitors bosses for halting production. Makers of The Traitors have agreed to halt filming to allow a grieving family to hold a funeral service at a Highland church. The church is near Ardross Castle where the US version of the show – hosted by Alan Cumming – is currently being shot. The dead woman's son took to social media after being told the earliest they could have access to Ardross Ark – a regular feature in the BBC show – would be July 1 which is 'far too long to wait to say our final farewell to Mam'. He added: 'My mother has lived in Ardross for 72 years. For my mother to be denied the right to have her final farewell to Ardross in her local church is nothing less than a disgrace.' But now the volunteer-run church has agreed a compromise after the unnamed local man contacted the Traitors production boss. He said: 'I would like to thank them for their understanding and allowing us to use the church.' The trustees of the church said: 'The situation has now been resolved. The funeral service will take place on June 27.'

It was an experience to see how they think, they are go-getters and not shy of anything. They are ready to cross boundaries, but certain things were also a shock to me. Culturally, morally, I come from a different generation, but I was getting to know and understand it, so I enjoyed the process.' While Jasmine thinks the show makes one sharper to judge personalities. 'I will not call the journey easy, it's a very difficult show psychologically. It's a very smart concept, 24/7, you are thinking something, it was very tricky. Those 12 days of shooting were mentally very difficult. Yes, it does teach you how to gauge people's personalities. Otherwise, I don't have that grasp of people in life.' Jasmine also opened up about feeling stuck in life at this moment. She revealed that uncertainty around her next project has been bothering her. 'Honestly, currently my headspace is not great. This is the first time in the last 10 years I have again felt stuck in life and don't know what is next. Should I take up something that is coming to me, or should I keep looking for what I want to do? I am just in that dilemma, praying every day that God gives me clarity.' The Traitors: Accused of black magic, astrologer Janvee Gaur is the show's ‘most disliked contestant', accused of manipulation by Maheep Kapoor
Amazon Prime Video's reality show The Traitors has been grabbing a lot of attention on social media. While the show is making headlines for its mixed bunch of contestants, there are a few who are not quite as well known. One such contestant is celebrity tarot reader Janvee Gaur. Right from her first day on the show, Janvee has not gotten along well with the contestants. While she has been keeping to herself, her silence has bothered many of her co-contestants. The major reason why Janvee chose to be aloof in the initial days of the show was due to an offensive comment made by comedian Harsh Gujral. During a random conversation between Janvee and Harsh, the latter joked about Janvee doing black magic when he learned that she was an astrologer. This joke did not sit well with Janvee, and it led her to distance herself from other contestants as the show started. While she later confronted Harsh about his comment, she continues to be the most disliked contestant on the show. Also Read: The Rebel Kid aka Apoorva Mukhija makes explosive claims about The Traitors, reveals Karan Johar personally interviewed contestants: 'I lied about lots of things to be on the show' A post shared by Janvee Gaurr (@janvigaur) Janvee Gaur, currently seen as a participant on The Traitors, is a celebrity tarot card reader. She is also an astrologer, a psychic, and a spiritual life coach. She has a son, Abhishek Gaur, who is an actor and a musician. Janvee's total fan following on Instagram is 64.1 K, and she is seen providing spiritual guidance daily to her followers on social media. While Janvee had a decent start on the show, right from the second day, she started experiencing hostility from other contestants. This happened because many felt Janvee was not mingling with them and was a 'traitor'. Many even argued with Janvee that if she didn't speak to people on the show, they wouldn't count her as a team player? On day 2, Janvee was tagged as a 'weak innocent' who shouldn't be kept in the game. A post shared by Janvee Gaurr (@janvigaur) In one of the videos from the show, Janvee reacted to this dislike from others, and said, 'I have designed my life in a way where I have the privilege of not pleasing people, and I don't do that. It's not a battle I choose.' On the show, Janvee seems to have a serious rivalry with Maheep Kapoor. Maheep even accused Janvee of manipulating others and setting a false narrative about her. The Traitors streams on Amazon Prime Video every Thursday at 8 pm. Other contestants who have seen the show are Rapper Raftaar, Harsha Gujral, Jasmine Bhasin, Aashish Vidyarthi, Sudhanshu Pandey, Apoorva Mukhija, Uorfi Javed, Maheep Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Purav Jha, Sufi Motiwala, Jannat Zubair, and Nikita Luther. Others who got evicted from the show were Lakshmi Manchu, Sahil Salathia, Raj Kundra, and Karan Kundrra.

Fans flood Anshula Kapoor's DMs asking if The Traitors is scripted. Here's what she said
The new reality show The Traitors, streaming on Prime Video, has quickly captured viewers' attention. Among the contestants is actor Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula Kapoor, who recently addressed a wave of DMs asking if the show is scripted. Here's what the content creator said. (Also read: Sahil Salathia hits out at Elnaaz Norouzi for eliminating him on The Traitors: 'I have been hurting for months') On Tuesday, Anshula took to her Instagram account and posted a candid video clarifying whether the Karan Johar-hosted show is scripted. Anshula, in her video, said, "Is The Traitors scripted? How can this be the number one DM in my DMs right now? Traitors is not scripted. There was not 1% of a script given to any of the 20 participants of this show. First, let's start with everything that went down to get us to start filming that first episode. There was so much secrecy." "We weren't told who our fellow participants would be. When we were flying from Bombay also to shoot for this, I think Elnaz, Ashish ji, Sufi, and Jannat were on my flight. To keep it as secret as possible, even during the check-in process at the airport, we were given different slots. We were given a shadow—our own personal valet," she added. A post shared by Anshula Kapoor (@anshulakapoor) Anshula further adds that the makers had divided the 20 participants into two different groups, who were staying in different hotels. Two days before the filming, they were all sent from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. 'And at this hotel, while we were getting checked in, they literally were like, 'You will have your phone for like three hours, and then tonight somebody's going to come.' Not just phones, but they took all the electronic equipment. It was all about isolation, because they didn't want us to form alliances outside the show. Anshula further said that while each episode of The Traitors is only about an hour long, the contestants were actually shooting for 16 to 18 hours a day. The show is the Indian edition of the globally popular reality show, co-produced by BBC Studios India and All3Media International. It features 20 celebrities, including Jannat Zubair, Uorfi Javed, Maheep and Anshula Kapoor, Raftaar, Apoorva Mukhija, Sufi Motiwala, Elnaaz, Purav Jha, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jasmine Bhasin and others. Sahil Salathia, Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, and Lakshmi Manchu have already been eliminated. The show airs on Prime Video, with new episodes dropping every Thursday a 8 PM.
