Trace Cyrus Slams ‘Pathetic' Dad Billy Ray for Allegedly Skipping Mother-in-Law's Funeral
Trace Cyrus is once again airing out his grievances against father Billy Ray Cyrus, whom the Metro Station musician called a 'delusional, evil person' while accusing him of skipping an important family member's funeral Tuesday (June 10). In a post on Instagram, Trace wrote a heated message under a photo of his dad that started with, 'This man is so hungry for fame it's pathetic.' More from Billboard Miley Cyrus Says She 'Lost Everything' Because of Her Controversial 'Bangerz'-Era Persona: 'My Relationships Fell Apart' Woman Arrested for Attempted Break-In at BTS Jung Kook's Residence on the Day of His Military Discharge Carín León Is Ready to Prove He's The 'Missing Link' Between Regional Mexican and Country Music 'He really flew to Italy for a fashion show but wouldn't come to LA for Mammie's funeral while he was still married to my mom,' he continued, referring to the late mother of Tish Cyrus, Trace's mom and Billy Ray's ex-wife. 'Even after his daughter got him a $60k private jet like he demanded.' 'You're the lamest man ever to walk planet earth,' Trace added. 'Honestly embarrassed to have ever considered you my idol. The best thing to come from your downfall is it made me go into beast mode. I refuse to be a washed up, delusional, evil person when I'm old like you.' Billy Ray's rep had no comment when contacted by Billboard. The 'Achy Breaky Heart' singer's relationship with his adopted son has been fraught for some time now. In January, Trace shared an open letter to his dad, stating that he and his sisters were 'genuinely worried' for Billy Ray. 'You've pushed all of us away,' the younger Cyrus wrote at the time. 'We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew and hoping for the day he returns. You're not healthy, Dad and everyone is noticing it.' Shortly afterward, Billy Ray posted that he was 'praying' for his family. After marrying Tish in 1993, the country star — who is also Dad to a son named Christopher from a previous relationship — adopted his then-wife's two kids, Trace and Brandi. The former couple welcomed three more children: Miley, Noah and Braison. Billy Ray and Tish divorced in 2022, and rumors of a rift in the Cyrus family have ebbed and flowed pretty much ever since. In a recent interview with The New York Times, however, Miley said that she was no longer 'estranged' from her father, adding, 'My dad and I have had our challenges over the years … I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.' Tish is now remarried to actor Dominic Purcell, while Billy Ray is dating actress Elizabeth Hurley after ending his seven-month marriage to singer-songwriter Firerose in June 2024. In that same NYT interview, the 'Flowers' singer commented on her parents' new relationships, telling the publication, 'Now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too — I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing.' Trace Cyrus Alleges Brenda Song Faked Cancer, Pregnancies During Their Relationship
Last Updated: Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song were together on and off for seven years from 2010 to 2017. Musician Trace Cyrus has accused his ex-partner, actress Brenda Song, of faking her cancer and multiple pregnancies. The brother of singer Miley Cyrus further alleged that Song even staged an abortion during their relationship. The two were together on and off for seven years from 2010 to 2017. They were briefly engaged in 2011. But now years later, Trace has shared disturbing details about what went on behind the scenes. It all started when a fan insulted Trace, writing, 'Ahhhh now we know why Brenda left. Good riddance." That's when Trace responded with his version of the story. 'Yes because she stole thousands of dollars from me and faked multiple pregnancies," he replied. Trace claimed that Brenda told him and his family she had both breast cancer and a brain tumour. 'She lied about being terminally ill. She had breast cancer and a brain tumour. It was all a lie," he wrote. Trace said his family found out the truth after confronting her. 'She was humiliated to ever show her face around my family again once we figured it out and my mom confronted her and called her out on all of it," he alleged. He also claimed that Brenda once faked an abortion using fake blood. 'Oh she also faked an abortion with fake blood covering the bathroom floor and my mom and I rushed her to the obgyn. That's when all the lies started unravelling and we realized it was fake," Trace wrote. He added, 'Thanks for reminding me of another scenario where I was great loving another person and someone did me wrong for no reason." In a post on Instagram Stories, Trace shared more. He said Brenda once showed up at his home 'after getting the 'brain tumour' removed by the best surgeon in Chicago." 'She didn't realise we were catching on to her lies. So when she showed up to my house with a bandage on her head claiming she just got out of surgery I ripped it off exposing no surgery had been done," Trace said. He ended one of his posts saying, 'There's more proof of how f***** in the head child stars are. I hope she's doing better mentally." Trace Cyrus was last romantically linked with Taylor Lauren Sanders. Their affair lasted from 2018 to 2020. Brenda got engaged to actor Macaulay Culkin in January 2022. The couple now shares two sons: Dakota, who is 4 years old, and Carson, who is 2. First Published:

Miley's Brother Slams MGK, Attacks Megan Fox's Kids
If you have issues with another celebrity, fine, but kids should NEVER ever be used as collateral damage in your drama, but that's just what Trace Cyrus decided to do. Earlier today, the 36-year-old musician, who also happens to be Miley Cyrus's half-brother, took to Instagram to voice his frustrations, where he alluded that people were comparing him to other artists, particularly Machine Gun Kelly. Trace is no stranger to social media rants. In the past, he's released several videos and posts about his estranged relationship with his adoptive father, Billy Ray Cyrus, UFO sightings, supporting Trump, and most recently, his ex and former Disney Channel star, Brenda Song. This time, he took personal shots at MGK while spewing offensive anti-gay comments: "And here's another truth I'm gonna say," Trace began on his Instagram Story. "If I didn't speak this way, and I wasn't as masculine as I am, if I fucking painted my nails and dressed all fucking homosexual like a lot of these artists — you know who I'm talking about — I'd have a record deal, and I'd be one of the fucking biggest artist." "I'm better than all these motherfuckers out there," he continued. "I'm a better fucking songwriter. I'm more fucking unique in all aspects of my life. I'm better looking. It's fucking true. So fuck off with all this shit trying to compare me to other people when I've been around way longer than all these other motherfuckers, and they all jacked my fucking style. So fuck off with that shit." He continued the tirade, this time leaving the subliminal messages behind, and calling the rapper out by his name. While doing so, in a way to disparage MGK, Trace referenced the rapper being signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records. MGK was signed to Bad Boy from 2012 to if you've been following Diddy's ongoing federal trial, then you know prosecutors allege that the music mogul attempted to "engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice." He is facing five criminal counts and has denied all allegations. "Don't you guys find it odd that Diddy is known for being the president of Bad Boy Records, and nobody he's signed in like the past fucking 10 years I've heard of except for one guy: MGK. that's the only person I know that Diddy signed in the past fucking decade or so? Fucking ridiculous." Trace then targeted MGK's ex-fiancée, Megan Fox, and the three young boys she shares with actor Brian Austin Green from a previous marriage — Noah Shannon Green, 12, Bodhi Ransom Green, 11, and Journey River Green, 8. She welcomed her fourth child, a baby girl, with MGK on March 27. MGK also has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie Colson Baker from a previous relationship with his teen love, Emma Cannon. The Jennifer's Body star has opened up about the way she chooses to parent her children, and why she allows her boys to live freely, instead of "micromanaging" them. After revealing that her oldest son, Noah, began to wear dresses at the age of 2, she refused to tell him that it was wrong. Instead, she bought resources, like books, to help him feel confident. "Sometimes, he'll dress himself, and he likes to wear dresses sometimes," Fox told The Talk in 2019. "And I send him to a really liberal, hippy school, but even there, here in California, he still has little boys going, 'Boys don't wear dresses,' or 'Boys don't wear pink.'" "So we're going through that now, where I'm trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says," she added, sharing that after he'd recently been laughed at for wearing a dress to school, he told her, ''I don't care, I love dresses too much.'''Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want. And that doesn't even have to have anything to do with your sexuality." Trace appeared to hint at this by referring to her children as trans in a derogatory manner. He then concluded the rant by sarcastically congratulating MGK for choosing Megan to be the mother of their child, based on the kids she's raised thus far. "And what did he do after he signed to Diddy? He got with a girl who has three trans children. They're all trans, somehow. Is it three or four? Three or of her kids are trans. That's the woman that he thought was the best woman that he should be with. That's going to be a great mother for my future child. You're very smart, brother. Great job." Again, you're allowed to dislike people, but he should've never mentioned Megan's kids. It's extremely low. Looking for more LGBTQ+ or Pride content? Trace Cyrus, the brother of Miley Cyrus and son of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, has gone public with shocking and serious allegations against his former girlfriend, actress Brenda Song, in a series of Instagram Story posts that surfaced on Wednesday. The claims emerged after a fan criticised the musician online, prompting him to respond with personal accusations that have sparked concern and controversy. According to him, she had a bandage on her head, but he 'ripped it off' to prove that no operation had been done. 'She didn't realise we were catching on to her lies,' he added. Trace ended his string of posts with a sweeping comment about the pressures of child stardom, calling the situation 'proof of how f–ked in the head child stars are.' Trace Cyrus's Scathing Instagram Post About His "Evil" Dad, Billy Ray, Is So Wild That You Have To Read It
Trace Cyrus is really at odds with his dad. On June 10, Miley Cyrus's older brother posted an Instagram calling out their dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, with a fairly heartbreaking accusation, claiming that he skipped their grandmother's funeral to attend a fashion show in Italy. "This man is so hungry for fame it's pathetic," Trace wrote with a photo of his dad. "He really flew to Italy for a fashion show but wouldn't come to LA for Mammie's funeral while he was still married to my mom." Billy Ray and Tish were married for almost 30 years before they split in 2022. Trace is one of Billy Ray's five kids with Tish Cyrus, along with Brandi Cyrus, 38, Miley Cyrus, 32, Braison Cyrus, 31, and Noah Cyrus, 25. "Even after his daughter got him a 60k private jet like he demanded," Trace continued, "then he still didn't come even after the plane was paid for." "You're the lamest man to ever walk planet earth," Trace added. "Honestly embarrassed to ever have considered you my idol. The best thing to come from your downfall is it made me go into beast mode. I refuse to be a washed up, delusional, evil person when I'm old like you. Christ is King. Get right with God. You need it." Related: 21 Times Celebrities Revealed Wildly Juicy, Shady, Or Even Disturbing Things In Interviews Following up on his post about Billy Ray, Trace shared an Instagram story, writing, "Also why does he think that homeless hairstyle looks good? So weird." One person in the comments suggested Trace's comments "seem like a cry for help from a son that desperately needs attention from his father," which prompted a response from the Metro Station singer. "I'm past the point of even caring if I ever speak to him again," he said. "I've surpassed him in every metric as a man on this planet," Trace continued. "There's nothing left to learn from his [sic] except from his mistakes. I had hope at one point but I'm convinced he's finally a lost cause." "I'll continue to thrive and as the oldest son of the family the Cyrus last name will continue through me and my many children I plan to have. I will raise them the right way and be a part of their life no matter what the circumstances are." On the same day as Trace's posts, Miley revealed on an episode of Monica Lewinsky's Reclaiming podcast how she fixed her "hard" family feud with Billy Ray. "Half of us weren't speaking to each other at one point," Miley said, "and we cleaned all that up." She said of her parents' divorce, "In that situation, I watched what happens when you don't clean things up as they're happening. They really do stack, and then all of a sudden you go, 'Oh my god, it's been 10 years, and this is a mess that I barely even know how to start. This is emotional hoarding.'" "I just kind of bust through the pile that's stacked and just go, 'I'm here. You're here. Let's start by having a good time together,'" Miley shared. "And then as we start bringing some happiness and joy into each other's life, then we'll just be in a better place to have these conversations. 'Cause I'd rather get it balanced first." "We're so messy we didn't even do any of that," Miley said, responding to Monica's question about family therapy. "To get each other in a room to even get to counseling would have been a war. So, it was easier to just go, 'White flag,'" she continued. "I always wanted my family to feel like I was the safe place that I always had the white flag when they came to talk to me."
