Renee Rapp on Tory Lanez Getting Stabbed 14 Times in Prison: 'I Feel Like a lot of People Get Stabbed'
Renee Rapp is not only delivering vocals. She's delivering courtroom defense, street justice, and crazy good energy in her new interview with Ziwe, and the Internet can't quit laughing. In a sidesplittingly insane and utterly brash moment, the Mean Girls actress took both guns out in defense of Megan Thee Stallion, threw Tory Lanez into the trash can of obscurity, and lit it up for good measure. When one of her friends asked her regarding reports that Tory Lanez had been stabbed in prison, Rapp didn't flinch. I feel like a lot of people get stabbed,' she shrugged, eyes deadpan. 'And like… that's okay.' Oh, but hold up, sis. The Grammy-nominated rapper and self-described Megan Thee Stallion stan took it to a whole other level. They gave 2025 its motto with a line that's going to be chucked on T-shirts, tattooed on thighs, and sewn onto throw pillows across the internet: 'Maybe we should be doing it more. Please. Maybe we should be stabbing more.' Justice? Served. Ice cold. With a side of sarcasm. Ziwe's showbiz isn't new to satire, and the interview was a clinic in deadpan humor, rapid-fire barbs, and cutting shade. Rapp's delivery? Perfected. Her commitment? Hardscope. Tory? Hopefully, he is on his prison bed, wondering how he got served by Regina George 2.0 on a Tuesday morning. When Ziwe brought up the latest cycle of mess, an accusation that Drake allegedly posted a pardon petition for Tory Lanez (you heard it right, a pardon, as if this is some Disney villain redemption arc), Rapp didn't even try to pretend to be concerned. 'That's so tired,' she exhaled with a sigh, a gothic-out guidance counselor with sparkles in her eyes and an attitude of disdain toward plain men. Rapp then proceeds to show her love for Kendrick Lamar, 'I love Kendrick Lamar,' Rapp said. Ziwe followed it up by saying, 'They not like us.' The punchline? Rapp briefly invoked her inner white woman in distress, spinning into a pseudo-victim voice: 'That's where my white woman comes out… please.' She paused, then stopped herself with a sly smile. 'Kidding. Totally kidding. No, it's fading. It's fading.' Comedy performance art. Feminism. Armed comedy with only a pinch of felony. Twitter (sorry, X) understandably collectively lost their minds. Videos of the interview spread like wildfire, with supporters cheering on Rapp's candid truth-telling and side-eying, smirking at the double standards still present in Megan Thee Stallion's case. Megan Thee Stallion got shot in 2020 by Tory Lanez. She was trolled, dragged, and gaslit by fans, rappers, and actual Rolling Stone op-eds while publicly recovering from trauma and taking home Grammys. Tory got 10. And now, as he allegedly gets jumped in prison, celebrities are signing petitions like it's a f*cking yearbook. Enter Renee Rapp, stage left, bearing dry humor, a death stare, and positively zero patience for horseshit. It's rejuvenating. It's laugh-out-loud. It's criminally close to becoming a sin. And it's what the culture craved. Because sometimes, when the justice system can't be relied on, when the rap community falls silent, and when Champagne Papi begins penning Tory Lanez fanfiction, it takes a mean girl to speak our minds. Maybe we should be sticking more knives in. Or, at the very least, pulling clowns like this along with sharp, pointed interviews. Either way, Renee Rapp is the heroine we never knew we needed. And Megan? She's got a new ride-or-die on her side. GloRilla Clarifies Tory Lanez Repost After Social Media Assumes Rift With Megan Thee Stallion
GloRilla had the internet in a frenzy this week after fans accused her of taking a side in the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez drama — but the Memphis rapper set the record straight about social media's confusion. After GloRilla reposted a Tory Lanez track on her Instagram Stories, paired with a text post about gratitude and good intentions, many assumed she was showing support for the incarcerated rapper. The post didn't mention Megan, but given Lanez's conviction in the 2020 shooting case of the Houston rapper, netizens immediately began connecting dots. The situation raised eyebrows even more when fans noticed that Megan had unfollowed GloRilla on Instagram, and shortly after, Glo returned the gesture. Before the timeline could spiral out of control, GloRilla jumped on X late Wednesday night (May 21) to dead the rumors. 'Ion do internet sh*t and I don't do mess!' she wrote. 'It was an innocent repost.' By Thursday (May 22), both Megan and GloRilla were back on each other's IG following list. The brief mishap follows Tory Lanez's legal team claiming to have new evidence that could 'prove his innocence.' The Toronto artist's team recently stated that they were approached by a man named Bradley James, who allegedly worked as a bodyguard for Megan's former friend Kelsey Harris — a key witness in the case. According to Lanez's team, James said he overheard Harris admitting to being the one who pulled the trigger, not the 31-year-old star. James, however, didn't testify in court, speak at the press conference, and hasn't said a word publicly. However, Megan Thee Stallion clearly wasn't going for the ever-changing narratives surrounding the incident that only inolved Lanez, her ex-bff Kelsey Harris, and the driver present that night. 'FACTS ARE FACTS, he did it, it was PROVEN IN COURT!' she ranted in a lengthy post following his team's update. 'TORY YOU SHOT ME!! Ain't no new f**king evidence — y'all been saying the same sh*t for years.' She ended her IG Story by calling the Chixtape rapper a 'f**king demon.'More from Megan Thee Stallion Blasts 'Demon' Tory Lanez Over New Shooting Claims GloRilla Changes Profile Picture To Michael Jackson After Nose Job Allegations Tory Lanez Attacker Reveals Motive Behind Jailhouse Stabbing

Why do netizens want ALLDAY Project's Tarzzan 'kicked out' of group? Know 'disgusting' accusations levied before debut
Just hours after announcing the official lineup of their next ambitious K-pop project, THE BLACK LABEL is facing online criticism. It surrounds one of the members of its upcoming co-ed group, ALLDAY Project. ALLDAY Project On June 8, THE BLACK LABEL officially revealed the lineup and group name for its newest idol team: ALLDAY Project. Following the debut of MEOVV less than a year ago, this move marks a rapid expansion of the label's artist roster. The group immediately generated buzz for its impressive and diverse lineup. Members include Annie Moon, Bailey, Jo Woochan (formerly of HYBE's Trainee A), Tarzzan and Youngseo (who was briefly part of ILLIT 's final lineup). ALLDAY Project also stands out as one of the rare co-ed idol groups in today's K-pop scene. However, excitement over the debut was quickly overshadowed by controversy involving one of its members. Tarzzan accused of cultural appropriation Tarzzan is a model-turned-idol also known as Lee Chaewon. He has become the center of online backlash. Fans recognized him from his past modeling work. This includes a brief appearance in the music video for NJZ's (NewJeans) Supernatural. Photos from Tarzzan's personal Instagram account, as well as official ALLDAY Project teasers, show the idol sporting braided hairstyles commonly associated with Black culture. These visuals have sparked accusations of cultural appropriation. Many netizens point out that this is not an isolated incident, but rather a recurring styling choice in his past work. Discussions have since emerged across fan communities. Some individuals state that while they were initially excited for the group's debut, they now feel conflicted about supporting ALLDAY Project due to this issue. Further criticism over following controversial artist Adding fuel to the fire, netizens have discovered that Tarzzan follows Tory Lanez. He's a Canadian rapper who was convicted in 2023 on felony charges related to the shooting of fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion. Following an artist on social media doesn't always signal direct endorsement. However, many fans have interpreted it as tone-deaf at best, and supportive at worst, especially given the gravity of Lanez's charges. This has led to a second wave of criticism. Some fans argue that this action reflects poorly on Tarzzan's awareness and judgment. Fans demand a response from THE BLACK LABEL Disappointed by the unfolding controversies, some fans have begun organizing efforts to contact THE BLACK LABEL. They urge the company to address the situation. While some are requesting a formal apology or clarification, others are going further. They are calling for Tarzzan's removal from the group altogether. As of now, THE BLACK LABEL has not issued a statement regarding either the cultural appropriation allegations or the concerns surrounding the Tory Lanez follow.

Op-Ed: Tory Lanez Is Still Lying About What He Did To Megan Thee Stallion
Source: It is not a coincidence that as Megan Thee Stallion was launching her latest venture —a swimwear line through Walmart —Tory Lanez decided to launch another misinformation campaign designed to stoke anger towards her. Tory and his lawyers recently launched the site '36 Hours Later,' which includes supposed evidence that exonerates him. This alleged new evidence includes bodycam footage and witness statements alleging that Megan's former friend, Kelsey Harris, was the actual shooter. There is also a video, which has already circulated widely, that depicts Megan Thee Stallion explaining to police officers that she wasn't shot, but glass-injured. 'I really cannot go to jail. I cannot have that on my image…' she is heard saying. Tory Lanez can be heard in that same video reassuring her, saying, 'I was just trying to help my girlfriend. Mego don't worry it's gonna be okay.' For some on the internet – presumably those who struggle with critical thinking – this site caused them to question whether Megan was even shot at all. This, despite Megan telling us years ago on the internet and later in trial that she initially tried to protect Tory, her shooter, from police, by saying that she wasn't shot. There is also the photographic evidence of her foot being shot that was presented in court. BECAUSE HE SHOT HER. 🚨: New developments in the Tory Lanez case have surfaced during a FOX 11 Los Angeles live stream. Kelsey Harris's bodyguard has reportedly come forward, claiming that Kelsey Harris, not Tory Lanez, allegedly was the one who 💥 Megan. He wanted to come clean about the truth — Boochie is the Name (@stoppfeenin) May 14, 2025 All this site does is repackage the same claims made a month ago at the press conference his lawyers held that generated a lot of buzz in the he-man woman-hating corners of the internet, but didn't make any kind of noise in a courtroom. Megan's attorney, Alex Spiro, quickly dismissed claims made on the site by Tory and his legal team. 'Tory Lanez's team can't keep a story straight.' Spiro said. 'Last week, they argued that Kelsey Harris shot Megan and now, they're claiming that Megan only stepped on glass. They continue to rehash old evidence from trial and re-package it as new information to desperately sway public opinion.' Additionally, Meg's legal team released a 31-page presentation countering Tory's claims, stressing how, again , much of this so-called new evidence was already presented at trial. To remind Tory and the others falling for his lies, they presented him with the text messages in which he apologized to Megan shortly after the shooting, ring camera audio capturing five gun shots, and DNA evidence indicating a 90% probability that the male DNA on the firearm belonged to…Tory Lanez. BECAUSE HE SHOT HER. Members of Megan's legal team have even stepped into The Shade Room recently in order to further penetrate the wave of disinformation Tory and his team have flooded in those spaces. Other journalists who followed the trial are doing their part to swat away Tory's lies as well. BECAUSE HE SHOT HER. I pray their efforts will help stop some of the more embarrassing displays of Tory Lanez from various celebrities as of late stop already. Like Nicci Gilbert from Brownstone, who in a recent interview with BHighTV, expressed regret for rushing to judgment and said that her initial shock over the allegations led her to 'jump on' the 'shame on him bandwagon.' 'I was wrong,' Gilbert said. 'I jumped on the bandwagon without fully understanding the case.' 'I want to say this. If there was evidence that was suppressed. If there was any possibility that Tory did not do this, that man deserves a retrial,' she added. If Nicci Gilbert wants to issue public apologies, consider one of her former castmates on R&B Divas , not the Canadian menace trying to further torment the woman he victimized. Tory Lanez has already been denied a new trial, which is likely why stars such as Drake, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Ye formerly Kanye West, Amber Rose, Kodak Black, Trippie Redd, among others, have been promoting the petition calling on Governor Newsom to pardon him. It's not coincidental that the famous people rallying behind a famous person accused of harming a woman are famous men who have been accused of harming women or are women known for supporting abusive men. Their lil' petition has over 382,000 signatures, but if I could set that petition on fire, I would. If I could revoke the internet status of each signator, I would. If anyone can save Megan Thee Stallion from continuing to be tormented by this exhausting menace who can't accept the consequences of his actions, they should immediately. I'm sure some who signed feel bad that Lanez was recently stabbed in prison by another inmate, but even the stories behind that incident are fanciful. Nothing this man says ought to be trusted because Tory Lanez is a liar, as proven in court, and years before it, on the internet. For all the noise he seeks to make, Tory Lanez will stay in prison until the end of his sentence. This is all nothing more than a pathetic attempt to rile up the Negro incenl community to generate a public pressure campaign against Megan Thee Stallion and the legal system. My anger is rooted in how successful it has been concerning Megan. Megan expressed frustration over the internet's treatment of her on May 20 in a post to TikTok. 'At what point are y'all gonna stop making me have to re-live being shot BY TORY !?' she asked. 'At what point are Tory and y'all FANS gonna stop lying? Like how much is the check to keep harassing me? Why is this happening EVERY DAY??' You could see many of the comments under the posts intended to celebrate the launch of her line. Those negative comments have scaled back a bit as more of her fans, us Hotties, drown out the hate. But she shouldn't have to still live like this. Addressing Tory directly, Megan concluded her statement with: 'YOU SHOT ME !! Ain't no new f—–g evidence y'all been saying the same s–t for years. TORY, PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE you a f—–g demon. I'm off this silly a– internet s–t, BYE.' I've written about abusive men in culture and politics for a long time now, and I have never seen so many people rally behind such a marginally talented man that's done nothing but shoot a woman. Much as I do fault misinformation, I mostly marvel at how much misogyny is at the root of so many choosing willful ignorance and siding with Tory Lanez. As long as I've been writing, I still struggle with the words to illustrate just how depressing I find this reality that no matter what facts are thrown at them, some of my people are choosing to side with an abuser.
