TikTok star Tinx on her favorite ‘Rich Mom energy' Hamptons hot spots
Tinx (real name: Christina Najjar) is a podcaster ('It's Me, Tinx'), content creator, advice guru and author of two books. The latest is novel 'Hotter in the Hamptons,' which published earlier this month and has already been optioned as a TV series for 20th Television (with the sisters behind 'Nobody Wants This,' Erin and Sara Foster, executive-producing). The Hamptons — and the colorful rich characters who inhabit it — were the inspiration for Najjar's book about a fallen influencer and the critic who brought her down. Confession: When the Stanford grad first came to the South Fork years ago, she absolutely hated it. 'I didn't get it,' admits Tinx, 34, who was born in Washington, DC, raised in London and now lives in LA. 'I felt so out of place.' But she remained intrigued. 'The Hamptons are known as a glamorous summer destination for the rich and famous. I think everyone's a little curious about what happens there. I certainly was!' Now that she's a regular, Tinx understands the exact formula for achieving the 'Rich Mom energy' she's so obsessed with (though she doesn't yet have kids herself): 'A huge house with lots of staff, a Pilates-toned body, Bottega Veneta everything and a vintage Bronco — so you can drive to Round Swamp Farm in style.' Kendall Jenner Wears $2 Hanes Tank Top to the Knicks Game
Kendall Jenner third-wheeled sister Kylie and her diehard Knicks fan BF Timothée Chalamet last week for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference NBA Semifinals. And while we're still not over her maybe-maybe not accidental run-in with ex Bad Bunny, there's a more pressing matter to discuss: Jenner's perfectly understated tank top—which is rumored to cost less than your morning latte ritual. Influencer Tinx ID'ed the wardrobe staple from Jenner's courtside outing as a $2 Hanes Boys Tank. "The other day, I was fixating on this picture because Kendall's white tank is perfect so I asked my loving community of fellow shopaholics, 'Where do you guys think it's from?'" she explained to her audience on TikTok. "They all said Hanes. I have on good authority it's a Hanes Boys Tank." We can't formally confirm Tinx's theory (unless, of course, Kenny or the brand wants to chime in here), but we have to admit the Hanes top does look strikingly similar to the style Jenner paired with classic black leather pants and a Knicks hat. The Hanes Boys' Ecosmart Cotton Tank Undershirt comes in a five-pack for $10 on Amazon and has thousands of five-star reviews to show for it. Maybe one from Jenner herself? The 50% cotton, 50% polyester fabric is pre-shrunk, lightweight, and comfortable for all-day wear. Shoppers called the tank "super light and slim fitting" and said the fabric is "soft," "breathable," and "holds up well after multiple washes." In case you had any doubt, fans seemingly confirmed the rumor in the comment section. "As a 50-year-old woman these were absolutely my favorite thing to wear in my late teens early 20s especially if you cut them off thanks to Gwen Stefani," one wrote. Now, sizing is a little difficult here considering the fact that Jenner's shirt is actually meant for literal children. Tinx said the style fit her well in a boys' large and other petite reviewers similarly sized up to a large or XL, but you can always shop actual adult sizes, too. They look nearly identical! Author Christina 'Tinx' Najjar weighs in on popular dating advice... including WORST tips she has ever received
Social media star Christina Najjar - better known online as 'Tinx' to her millions of followers - is dishing on popular dating advice, including the worst romance tips that she has ever heard. Over the past few years, Tinx has become known as 'the internet's big sister,' as she doles out sex, relationship, friendship, and even career advice on her platform. She invented what's called the 'box theory,' a concept about men putting a woman into one of three boxes if they're romantically interested in her, and wrote all about it in her first New York Times bestselling novel, The Shift. Now, the SiriusXM radio show host has published her second book and a fiction one at that - Hotter in the Hamptons, about an influencer who gets canceled and escapes to the Long Island enclave for a hot, steamy, summer romance with another woman - who just happens to be the journalist who 'canceled' her. It's a place she's familiar with, too, as she has spent a few recent summers in the area. The new book is spicy and sexy, and Tinx certainly does not hold back any of the sultry details, as she wants the book to help people get in touch with their sexuality, whether they are single or not. It also explores modern-day dating, something that Tinx talks about often on her various platforms. In a new interview with the internet personality revealed one of the most important things that she believes people should know about dating, and that's not to take anything personally. 'There is so much bad behavior. There's so much ghosting, bad manners,' Tinx told exclusively. 'You cannot take it personally, otherwise you will be miserable,' she continued. Instead, Tinx recommends taking things lightly and easily when it comes to dating. 'You'll know when someone great comes along, but until then, don't stress yourself out,' the influencer offered. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when hitting the town, Tinx said. 'One phrase that I don't think is very helpful is, "If he wanted to, he would,"' she admitted to 'I think it's true, but I think it's a very negative way to think about it,' Tinx continued, as she explained that she wants her community to change their thinking around the phrase. Instead, she suggests making the phrase more positive, and about the fact that you deserve someone who treats you well without you having to beg for their attention. That's not the worst dating advice she's gotten before, though. She explained that she is not a fan of playing any games when it comes to her dating life. 'I think that anything that's to do with manipulating guys or... I don't like game playing. I think game playing is really immature. And I think you only hurt yourself,' she explained. 'You never want to, like, trap someone into dating you,' Tinx shared. 'They're obviously not your person, if you have to do that.' This summer, Tinx says that she wants 'everyone to be horny by the pool' as they delve into her new novel. 'I think that erotica, smut, whatever you want to classify it as, is a fun way for people to get in touch with their own sexuality and expand their minds and expand their creativity,' she told The book has also been adapted into a TV series by powerhouse twins Erin and Sara Foster. As for the cast? Tinx has some ideas, but she doesn't want to jinx anything.

Tinx tackles cancel culture and romance in debut novel "Hotter in the Hamptons"
Tinx trades TikTok for the Hamptons in her new novel, "Hotter in the Hamptons" Social media star and bestselling author Christina Najjar, known as Tinx, is taking on cancel culture, reinvention and unexpected romance in her new book, "Hotter in the Hamptons," which was released on Tuesday. Najjar's debut novel follows Lola Fine, a New York City content creator who retreats to the Hamptons after being canceled, only to discover her summer neighbor is a culture critic who wrote a scathing exposé about her. The two unexpectedly begin a summer fling as Lola embarks on a journey of self-discovery. "I really wanted my heroine to be complicated and layered, because we're all complicated and layered," Najjar told "CBS Mornings." "I wanted her to be messy so that readers could see themselves in her, because we're really all imperfect. We're all works in progress." The Hamptons setting was chosen for its luxury and dramatic potential, Najjar said. "My followers know my obsession with rich mom places. And it's shrouded in mystery. It's luxurious. A lot of drama goes down there," she said. She even incorporated real locations to provide reference points for readers. The book includes aspects of queer romance, which has drawn some criticism given Najjar's identity as a straight woman. Najjar said that she worked with a queer collaborator to ensure authentic representation. "I think it's important to have a queer voice in the room, and that's why I wanted to work with a queer collaborator," she said. "So we got that lived experience in the book and I think we nailed it, and it was an incredible experience working with her. I can't wait for people to just read it and form their own opinions."
