Meghan teases ‘delicious surprises' as she restocks lifestyle brand

The Duchess of Sussex has promised some 'delicious surprises' as she announced a restock of items from her lifestyle brand after some products sold out within an hour. Meghan said the April launch of her As Ever products, including jam and herbal tea, had been 'absolutely extraordinary' and teased buyers they would only have to wait a few days for more items. In an Instagram post, the California-based duchess wrote: 'Oh yes, honey… sweet things await. Mark your calendars for June 20 at 8 a.m. PT – we're bringing back your favorites, plus some delicious surprises you won't want to miss!' In a newsletter, she also wrote: 'First off, a sincere thank you for making the debut of As Ever absolutely extraordinary. 'We had a feeling there would be excitement, but to see everything sell out in less than an hour was an amazing surprise. 'We are pleased to share that on June 20th, we're going live with the products you love – plus, some new delicious surprises.' Earlier this month Meghan said she had decided to 'just pause' restocking her brand, saying she wanted to wait until it is 'completely stable and we have everything we need'. She also spoke of the difficulties of building her firm and 'how many tears' she has shed behind the scenes on a bonus episode of her podcast featuring Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles. Meghan had suggested the 'scarcity mentality at the beginning might be a hook for people', comparing it to 'a sneaker drop'. But she feared it might be 'annoying' for customers, adding: 'I don't want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want that to be on your shelf all the time.' Meghan said: 'So for me at the moment, with As Ever, it was great. We planned for a year we get and then everything sells out in 45 minutes. 'Yes, amazing, great news. Then what do you do? And then you say 'Ok, we planned as best as we could. Are we going to replenish and sell out again in an hour? Or is that annoying as a customer? 'I'm looking at it saying 'Just pause. That happened. Let's wait until we are completely stable and we have everything we need'.' She added how people 'see all the flashy stuff and they see the product. But that end game… those behind the scenes moments, how many tears I've shed'.

Beyoncé's First Solo Smash Reaches A Never-Before-Seen High

Beyoncé's 'Crazy in Love' climbs to No. 11 on the U.K.'s Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart, ... More scoring a new peak position 20 years after its release. She scored not just a hit song, but one of the most memorable solo introductions in music history with "Crazy in Love," the tune that features her future husband Jay-Z, as the track became a global sensation. More than two decades have passed since its release, and it's still regarded as one of the most impressive tunes in her catalog — and that's saying something for a woman who has been scoring massive wins for years. Somehow, even after so much time in the spotlight, "Crazy in Love" continues to climb to new heights. This week, "Crazy in Love" rises from No. 15 to No. 11 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart in the United Kingdom. The tally ranks the bestselling titles in those genres, and Beyoncé is often found in at least one of the 40 spots. Her cut hits a new all-time peak on the genre-specific list as it climbs this frame. "Crazy in Love" reaches this newly-established peak 59 weeks into its time on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart, but decades after it was first released. The tune opened on the tally in February 2004, launching at No. 40. It held on for a little over a month before vanishing, and it wasn't seen again for seven years. Since then, "Crazy in Love" has fallen off of and returned to the ranking more than a dozen times, but it has been steadily charting since February of this year. Beyoncé's first solo smash reached a new high last August when it jumped from No. 28 to No. 14. That stood as its all-time peak for almost a year. It missed out on matching that No. 14 position by one space last week, but now it's closer to the top 10 than ever before. "Crazy in Love" seems to be benefiting from the excitement surrounding Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour, which recently touched down in London for six nights. Thanks to her arrival, the singer's album of the same name rises on multiple rankings, while its lead single "Texas Hold 'Em" breaks back onto a pair of tallies in the U.K.

Beyonce looks unrecognizable as she ditches glamour for family outing with Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy

Beyonce kept things surprisingly low-key as she marked the end of the UK leg of her Cowboy Carter tour with a late-night family outing in London. The 43-year-old superstar was spotted looking casual at the famed Harry's Bar in Mayfair, where she dined alongside husband Jay-Z, 55, and their 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy. Ditching her usual show-stopping stage looks, the singer wore a simple olive jacket paired with pale blue jeans—an understated combo that was a far cry from the glamorous fashion she's known for. Even her hair was dialed down, left long and flowing instead of the polished, high-concept styles she's recently rocked on stage. Jay-Z also kept it low-key in an all-black outfit, while Blue Ivy brought a touch of her signature cool in a black leather jacket and dark sunglasses. The trio reportedly stayed out until around 3 a.m. before slipping away from the Italian hotspot. The outing comes amid reports that the Formation singer is preparing to 'bare all' in her own memoir, inspired by the success of her mother Tina Knowles's recent release, Matriarch: A Memoir. 'Beyoncé is quietly writing a memoir after being inspired by her mother's book,' an insider told the Daily Mail. ' Beyonce has been private about her personal life, but she documents everything so has technically been writing one for over a decade now.' The Crazy in Love singer is notoriously private when it comes to her personal life, rarely using it to leverage brand deals like fellow celebs, instead dropping small insights at carefully planned moments in visual albums, lyrics and essays. 'One thing I've worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn't turned into a brand,' she told GQ in a rare interview last year. 'It's very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.' In recent weeks she has seemingly eased up on her strict measures, welcoming on stage during her Cowboy Carter tour her eight-year-old daughter Rumi, who together with her twin brother Sir has largely been shrouded in secrecy since birth. The tour has been a family affair with eldest daughter Blue Ivy part of the dance troupe. Beyoncé's mom Tina Knowles also joined them onstage for a date in the US. Beyoncé used the moment to pay tribute to 'Mama T' after Matriarch: A Memoir by Tina Knowles took the No. 1 spot on the New York Times bestsellers list last month. Tina's decision to go public is said to be the inspiration behind her daughter's decision to put pen to paper and tell her own story. 'Tina has been encouraging Beyoncé to be honest and raw about everything – including the infidelity,' our insider said. Beyoncé steadfastly stood by her man when cheating rumors first surfaced in 2016, some two years after her sister Solange Knowles was captured on camera attacking Jay-Z in an elevator after the Met Gala. Shocking surveillance footage – bought at the time by TMZ for a reported $250,000 – showed Solange jabbing her finger at her brother-in-law before shoving and hitting him and even throwing her clutch bag at his head. Beyoncé, meanwhile, appeared unfazed, stepping out of the elevator fully composed and showing no sign of the fight that had taken place just seconds before. The incident was explained away as a normal family altercation in a short statement: 'They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family… At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family.' Fans were predictably unconvinced and pounced on the footage when Beyoncé released Lemonade - widely believed to be about her husband's infidelity. She has never addressed this or the elevator ruckus despite Ora, Roy and others standing accused of being the other woman. They both denied this. Some of Beyoncé's fans claimed the elevator fight had started after Roy had 'provoked' Solange at the afterparty. In 2017, Jay-Z finally admitted to New York Magazine, shortly after his wife had given birth to their twins, that he had been unfaithful. 'So even with women, you gonna [sic] shut down emotionally, so you can't connect… In my case, like, it's deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity,' he said. Amid the martial drama, Becoming Beyoncé - an unauthorized biography by J. Randy Taraborrelli. The book went some way to attempt to demystify the singer, documenting her rise to fame in Houston Texas, the eldest daughter of Tina, a hairdresser and Matthew Knowles, a sales manager. From there it followed her journey from a member of Girls Tyme to early fame in Destiny's child, meeting Jay-Z and becoming one of the most successful female recording artists of all time. But, according to our insider, she did not feel the book 'portrayed her accurately.' 'She is going to bare all in her own words,' they said. 'Publishers are aware of this and have already started putting bids in.' A memoir could be a smart move for the megastar who has struggled to sell out her current Cowboy Carter tour. She pocketed millions from her record-breaking Renaissance World Tour in 2023 - which sold out in minutes - and its theatrical release, but has so far failed to emulate the success. Coupled with the ongoing controversy over Sean 'Diddy' Combs (Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13-year-old with the disgraced mogul - something he furiously denied) perhaps now is the time for Beyonce to change tack, drop her guard and finally tell-all in her own words.

Beyonce's poignant message to rarely-seen son Sir and daughter Rumi onstage in London

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter made a rare public statement about her elusive son Sir Carter while bringing her $168.5M-grossing, 32-date Cowboy Carter World Tour to North London's Tottenham district on Thursday. In fan footage uploaded on X, the 43-year-old pop diva wished little Sir and his fraternal twin sister Rumi Carter a happy eighth birthday while onstage at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 'Everybody say happy birthday, Rumi!' Beyoncé commanded her devoted Beyhive. At that, Knowles-Carter's 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter affectionately touched her little sister on the chin during the three-hour concert featuring over 35 songs. 'Say happy birthday, Sir!' the 35-time Grammy winner added as Rumi embraced her. 'Mommy loves you.' Blue Ivy serves back-up dancer duties on tour while Rumi has been making an appearance onstage each night of Beyoncé's tour beginning at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA on April 28. Last year, Rumi made her musical debut on the track Protector off Knowles-Carter's eighth studio album where she's heard asking: 'Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?' Queen Bey and her husband of 17 years - Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) - rarely discuss their only son. 'Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator,' proud grandmother Tina Knowles gushed to E! News last year. 'How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion. Sir is very quiet. [He] does all of the numbers stuff, so he's not into fashion as much.' On March 18, disgraced rapper-designer Kanye 'Ye' West questioned the twins' mental capacity in a shocking tweet that he deleted hours later 'because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled.' On February 2, Cowboy Carter won three Grammy Awards - album of the year, best country album, and best country duo/group performance for II Most Wanted with Miley Cyrus. 'I just feel very full and very honored. It's been many, many years. Just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work,' Beyoncé said in her acceptance speech. 'I want to dedicate this to Ms Martell, and I hope we just keep pushing forward. Opening doors. God bless y'all. Thank you so much. Thank you.' On September 26, Knowles-Carter lost all 12 trophies she was nominated for her eighth studio album at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards. At that, Beyoncé's 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter affectionately touched her little sister on the chin during the three-hour concert featuring over 35 songs Blue Ivy serves back-up dancer duties on tour while Rumi has been making an appearance onstage each night of the 35-time Grammy winner's tour beginning at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA on April 28 (pictured) Proud grandmother Tina Knowles gushed to E! News last year: 'Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator. How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion' (pictured June 3) This, after the Texas Hold 'Em singer - who gets 58.7M monthly listeners on Spotify - shockingly received zero nominations at the 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards. And while country music industry elites went out of their way to snub her, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter became her eighth consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 and the first album by a black woman to top the Top Country Albums chart. Knowles-Carter's first foray into the genre also scored her No. 1 records in the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The Oscar-nominated songwriter is scheduled to continue her six-night stand at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday.

Megan ‘planning to expand brand As Ever into hotels and restaurants'

Meghan Markle 's lifestyle brand, As Ever, is reportedly planning to expand its offerings beyond jam to include hospitality services such as food, drink, and temporary accommodation, potentially including hotels and restaurants. The expansion news follows the Duchess of Sussex's announcement that As Ever will be restocking some of its popular products, which sold out quickly after the initial launch in April. Meghan teased the return of her products on Instagram, encouraging fans to sign up for the brand's mailing list for details and timing, though a specific restock date has not been revealed. In an interview with Fast Company, Meghan stated she plans to assess new avenues for her brand, focusing on the hospitality aspect and understanding customer needs seasonally, with potential future exploration into fashion. During a former podcast episode with Tina Knowles, Meghan discussed her decision to pause production after the initial products sold out in 45 minutes, questioning whether immediate replenishment would be beneficial for customers.
