"We Ain't Found Sh*t!" SPACEBALLS Actor Tim Russ Seems to Have Joined the Sequel — GeekTyrant
Star Trek: Voyager and original Spaceballs actor Tim Russ has seemingly seemingly confirmed on X that he's set to return in Spaceballs 2 as the trooper who says 'We ain't found shit!' during the hilarious scene while the troopers are combing the desert. I'm very excited about this sequel, and it will bring back Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis as Lone Starr and Dark Helmet. They will be joined by Mel Brooks as Yogurt, Daphne Zuniga as Queen Vespa, Lewis Pullman, Keke Palmer, and Josh Gad. The movie is described as a 'A Non-Prequel Non-Reboot Sequel Part Two' but with Reboot Elements Franchise Expansion Film.' Josh Greenbaum ( Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar ) will direct, with Imagine's Brian Grazer and Jeb Brody producing alongside Gad, Brooks, and Greenbaum. Gad also wrote the script along with Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez.

‘Spaceballs 2' Adds an Unlikely Legacy Character
Dan Trachtenberg has ideas for another Predator film after Badlands. A familiar face will return for American Horror Story's next season. Plus, get a look at Shea Couleé's Ironheart character. Spoilers get! Spaceballs 2 Star Trek: Voyager's Tim Russ seemingly confirmed on Twitter he's set to return as the trooper who 'ain't found shit' while combing the desert in Spaceballs 2. I may be ….. combing the desert again..!!! — tim russ (@timruss2) June 13, 2025 Untitled Predator Project During a recent interview with SFX Magazine (via Games Radar), Dan Trachtenberg stated he has a third idea for a Predator movie he'd 'love to get to when Badlands is finished.' After Prey came out, and I started thinking about sequel stuff, there were three ideas that I had. Killers is one, Badlands is two and the third one is something else. The reason why I felt possessed to make them and sort of why I rushed – I did two at once because I could multitask with animation – was because I was so eager to get to the third thing. There's a lot of cool ideas out there and none of them are just like, 'Oh, we have to say the next part of this story because it was successful.' All of it is like, 'Whoa, no one has done that in sci-fi. No one has done that in Predator. No one's done that with the creature,' all of those ideas are generated from that instinct. So, yeah, there is definitely a third thing that I'd love to get to when Badlands is finished.
