I'm heading home this weekend for a much needed Euro summer break to spend time in the sun with friends and family. While I always try my best to pack light, it's been two years since my last return so I've given myself plenty of room for gifts (plus a few additional outfit options). There's a few familiar faces going into my case this time around, like my ride or die sandals, Uniqlo AIRism tees and Ena Pelly denim shorts. But I've also treated myself to some new summer essentials; think trendy sunglasses, comfy pjs and a sleek one piece to replace my old swimmers that have seen better days. Other new additions joining me on my travels are these handy Tile trackers. They work using Bluetooth to track and map out exactly where they are, so I'll be popping one inside my checked luggage to follow it en route. Despite being a seasoned traveller, I chop and change the essentials I'm hauling overseas. This time around, there are 7 items that have made the cut — and I've popped them below. 1. Light Max Expandable Case, was $335 now $201 at American Tourister While I'm a big advocate for carry-on luggage, an international trip requires a larger case for all kinds of big and bulky items that I'm hauling back to the UK. My old case was due for an upgrade and American Tourister had been on my radar for a long time, and the Light Max Expandable 82cm ticks all the boxes. Large in size but incredibly lightweight (it weighs only 4kg) the fact it expands for extra room is a game-changer. 2. Alyssia Top and Pant set, from $132 at Sabo Did someone say Wimbledon whites? While there's no dress code that says you have to wear the colour, it's a fun tradition that lots of attendees share. Sabo's Alyssia two piece is the perfect solution to dressing for a day at the courts, I'll be adding a pair of comfy sandals and opting for an oversized denim jacket to chuck over the top. 3. Fairway Green Classic Umbrella, $159 at Blunt Umbrellas It's no secret that rain often makes an appearance during the British summertime, so I've made sure my Blunt umbrella is really to be packed inside my case. Instead of the trusty black version I also own, it felt only fitting that the Fairway Green joins me on my travels as I head to Wimbledon since it matches the brief perfectly! 4. Ray-Ban Zena Bio-Based, $207 at Sunglass Hut Every vacation needs a great pair of sunnies, and I had been eyeing up this pair of Ray-Bans for a while. Instead of jet-black, I've noticed that lighter colours better suit my complexion, especially brown colours and tortoise shell print s in slightly slimmer frames. Retailing for $207 over at Sunglass Hu t, I think they are a total steal for such a renowned eyewear brand. 5. Juliette Soft Work Tote, $325 at July My July carry-on case has been my trusty companion for a few years now, but I've been after a smaller bag to safely carry my laptop and other items I like to keep close. Everyone has been talking about the new Juliette tote — and for good reason. Made from a soft buttery PU coated fabri c, it feels luxe and expensive, and has a handy removable drink bottle holder, secure zipper and pass-through band so I can easily slide over luggage handles onto both carry-on and checked-in cases. 6. Capri Sleep Top and Short, from $59 at Hommey Perhaps not the usual packing essential, but I recently treated my PJ drawer to a new set from Aussie brand Hommey and they are heading overseas with me. The extra soft and stretchy cotton jersey fabric is perfect for lounging and sleeping, and the 'Capri' blue stripe print is perfect for a Euro summer. 7. Zarla One Shoulder One Piece, $240 at JETS Seafolly's sister brand, JETS has become my go-to for well-fitting swimwear. From bikinis to one pieces, the styles provide great support for bigger busts and curves. The latest arrival that caught my eye is the Zarla one piece, with a sleek one shoulder and subtle waist cinch. While it's a gorgeous print for Euro summer, I know it'll be on high rotation once summer rolls back around in Sydney.

AirTag 2 Rumors: The Latest Leaks and What They Mean for You
It's been over four years since Apple launched the original AirTag, and in Apple years, that's practically a lifetime. While the little tracker has become a go-to for finding lost keys, wallets, and luggage, it hasn't seen a single major update since its 2021 debut. That sort of delay is unusual for Apple, which tends to refresh most of its product lines every couple of years. Now, as we head into summer travel season, when item trackers are more useful than ever, rumors are heating up that a second-gen AirTag might finally be on the way. Competitors like Tile, Samsung and Google have all made moves to expand or improve their tracking tech since AirTags first hit the scene. Meanwhile, Apple has stayed quiet, which is typical for the brand, but industry whispers suggest we could see the AirTag 2 announced later this year. From design tweaks to Find My network upgrades, there's a lot of speculation around what Apple could be planning. Here's what we know so far about the possibilities of an AirTag 2. Apple/CNET AirTag 2 design There have been no rumors that the AirTag 2 will look too different from the original. It will likely have the same tiny circular shape that can fit easily into a pocket or a compatible keychain loop. Some consumers have asked for physical changes like a built-in key hole or a flatter design -- which we've seen in rivals made by Tile and Chipolo -- but there's no indication that Apple will follow these suggestions. Similarly, the AirTag 2 will likely continue to use a replaceable CR2032 3-volt coin battery instead of transitioning to a rechargeable model. However, there have been reports that the current AirTag isn't always compatible with coin batteries that have a bitterant coating, so the company might alter it somewhat so that it will be. Rival trackers like this one from Chipolo include a built-in hole for attaching to keychains. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the second-generation AirTag will be more difficult for wannabe stalkers to hack. The AirTag has come under fire as a potential tool for stalkers, so Apple introduced safety features like sound alerts when it's not around its registered owner. However, the speaker is apparently fairly easy to remove, which negates this effort. The idea is that the newer AirTag will have a speaker that is far more difficult to fiddle with. Another important upgrade is that the new AirTag could have a longer tracking range thanks to the second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, which is the technology that the AirTag uses to locate your stuff. (This chip is already in existing iPhones -- it was introduced with the iPhone 15.) The longer tracking range of the new chip means you can keep track of your belongings at an even greater distance since it has three times the range of the original. This, along with a new onboard wireless chip, would certainly make finding items easier. Last but not least, there are rumors that the new AirTag will integrate with Apple's Vision Pro augmented reality headset. It's not entirely clear what this means, but Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has theorized that the location-tracking capabilities of the AirTag could be part of a spatial computing concept. Currently, a single AirTag is $29 while a four-pack is $99(though a four-park can often be found for $75 or less at Amazon). The AirTag 2 could retain the same price, but with the current on-and-off tariff situation, the cost of the AirTag 2 is currently unclear. AirTag 2 release date It's widely rumored that the AirTag 2 will be released in the middle of 2025. Since Apple's annual WWDC event will take place June 9, that date seems highly likely for the announcement of the AirTag 2.

Use Tile's Bluetooth trackers? Don't be surprised if you're soon pushed to this app

Life360 has now updated its app with full Tile support, raising questions about how long the old Tile app will stick around. Bluetooth trackers are one of those fantastic modern conveniences whose value you may never properly appreciate until you invite them into your life — and then quickly find yourself unwilling to go without them ever again. Trackers are getting even better on Android with growing UWB support, but when it comes to the classic approach, there are few brands better known than Tile. Its trackers have been around for over a decade, but a few years back we learned about a controversial acquisition that was in the works, as oft-maligned family tracking app Life360 bought up Tile. While the relationship between the two has so far allowed for a little breathing room, it's starting to feel like that's finally changing. Today, Life360 shares that Tile trackers are now fully supported within the Life360 app. You've already been able to track Tile hardware in Life360, but the Tile app itself was still required for critical setup and configuration steps. Going forward, that's no longer necessary, and owners can take full advantage of Tile devices without needing anything but the Life360 app. If you're already a Life360 fan, this is good news, but the app has more than its fair share of detractors. Beyond just disgruntled users strong-armed by their families into sharing personal location data in the name of 'safety,' Life360 has faced some well-deserved criticism for its policies regarding selling user data for profit. Right now, even following the Life360 app's absorption of all functionality needed to support Tile trackers, you still have the option to just stick with the old Tile app. But with Life360 using language like 'One App to Track It All' and 'No more switching back and forth' in its announcement of today's news, you'd forgive us for feeling a little paranoid that the company is leaning increasingly on its primary app, in what could very soon be to the Tile app's detriment.
