Emo kids, rise! My Chemical Romance just released a deluxe version of their 2004 album, 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.' The album includes newly mixed versions of some of MCR's most popular songs like 'Helena,' 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise),' and 'The Ghost of You.' These were all mixed by Rich Costey. It also has four live tracks from the BBC in 2005, which were never released before. 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' also features new artwork, showcasing a rosary. It is now available on CD and digitally. My Chemical Romance is set to go on a North American stadium tour in July. My Chemical Romance have announced a new deluxe edition of their breakout sophomore album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. It's set to arrive on June 6th, which marks the 21st anniversary of the original release (pre-order here). The expanded edition is remixed and remastered, and includes four bonus tracks recorded for BBC Radio 1 in 2005. Three of those live versions — 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise),' 'Helena,' and 'The Ghost of You' — are previously unreleased, while the recording of 'You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison' was only available as a B-side on a UK-only CD single of 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise).' Former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar's cause of death has been ruled undetermined. When the musician was found dead in his home in November 2024, he was discovered next to three large canisters of nitrous oxide, according to an autopsy report obtained by TMZ. The outlet also reported that antidepressants were found in Bryar's home. While the medical examiner suspected an "intentional or accidental overdose," because of the state of Bryar's body, his cause and manner of death were "best classified as undetermined," TMZ reported from the autopsy details. According to TMZ, which was first to report the news, his body was found on Nov. 26, 2024, and authorities told the outlet that he was last seen alive on Nov. 4. At the time, a representative for My Chemical Romance told PEOPLE that "the band asks for your patience and understanding as they process the news of Bob's passing." The emo band shared its condolences for Bryar on Dec. 2 via Instagram. "It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Bob Bryar, our former bandmate and an important part of the history of My Chemical Romance. We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family at this time. May he rest in peace." they wrote, alongside a photo of the former drummer. Bryar performed with My Chemical Romance from 2004 until his departure in 2010. Shortly after the release of their 2004 album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, he joined the New Jersey group, replacing original drummer Matt Pelissier, according to NME and Kerrang!. Following Bryar's exit, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero wrote on the band's blog at the time, per NME, 'As of four weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours, and expect you all to do the same.'
