Al Subaie visits IAEA's marine environment labs
NICE, FRANCE: Minister of Environment and Climate Change HE Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie has visited the Marine Environment Laboratories of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the Principality of Monaco, on the sidelines of his participation in the Third Ocean Conference held in Nice, France. The minister met with Descroy Commanducci, Director of the Agency's Marine Laboratories, and discussed areas of cooperation between the two sides, ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of marine environment protection, and building national technical capabilities in this field. Al Subaie is heading the State of Qatar's delegation participating in Ocean Conference which is being held from June 9 to 13.

Baghdad, Amman push cooperation on economy and environment
Shafaq News/ Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid met, on Sunday, with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Nice, France, to advance bilateral ties and coordinate responses to regional crises, including the war in Gaza. The meeting, held during the UN's Third Ocean Conference, included Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Fuad Hussein and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi and centered on boosting trade, aligning economic policies, and expanding environmental cooperation—especially in water conservation and biodiversity.
