TV tonight: Noel Edmonds shows off his unusual new life in New Zealand
9pm, ITV1Noel Edmonds is an unusual man. On the face of it, this series simply documents his attempts to open a bar-restaurant in New Zealand with his wife, Liz. But the fun is in the journey not the arrival. Edmonds is obsessed with new-age woo, spending time on his 'crystal bed' and practising a workout regime he calls 'tranquil power'. He's also startlingly excited about his nail gun, calling it 'a sex toy', and regards Liz as 'an earth angel' believing she was 'a gift from the cosmos'. An eccentric cult classic in the making. So a sequel is clearly a free hit for him, which explains why he's gone Broadway or bust with a full-blown musical. It helps that Lady Gaga is on board, carrying the vocal weight as Lee Quinzel, who falls for Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck while both are incarcerated in Arkham State Hospital. Their amour fou is realised in a series of fantastical numbers that are very entertaining, though the mental illness storyline is less effective. But between the lines of the woman-in-peril plot, in which Barbara Hershey's single mother Carla is sexually assaulted by an unseen supernatural assailant, is a story of controlling men. From Ron Silver's dismissive therapist to the university parapsychologists giddy over a big new case study – and even the invisible creature itself – attempts to force Carla into a corner founder as she fashions her own responses to her trauma. Tens of thousands of people are expected to converge on a Bath landmark this weekend as Robbie Williams takes to the stage. The open air concert is taking place on 13 and 14 June at the Royal Crescent to mark 250 years since the Unesco World Heritage site was built. This weekend's concerts is one of only a few shows ever hosted at the historic location. Several roads will be closed with about 30,000 people expected to be in the city over two nights for the sold-out shows. Pop band The Lottery Winners are the supporting act and their 45-minute set begins at 19:00. Williams will be on stage to perform a catalogue of hits such as Let Me Entertain You and Rock DJ from 20:30. The concert is scheduled to conclude by 22:30. Bath and North East Somerset Council urged concert-goers to take park and ride services to the city centre, with road closures at Royal Avenue, Royal Victoria Park and Marlborough Lane. The city's three park and ride services, from Newbridge, Odd Down and Lansdown, have been extended to run until 23:30 on Friday and Saturday. Great Western Railway said it was running regular trains from Bath Spa to Bristol Temple Meads, with the last service at 23:53 on Friday and 23:51 on Saturday. The train operator warned of disruption to services heading to Cardiff and London Paddington due to track replacement in South Gloucestershire. Senbla released a list of prohibited items including umbrellas, blankets, chairs and bags larger than A3 size. Ticketholders are also not allowed to bring in any food or drink from outside the arena, as well as any sharp objects. We initially said it was going to be sunny on Friday and Saturday but unfortunately, the forecast has changed. On Friday it is scheduled to be sunny but wet, with rain forecast from midday for the rest of the evening. On Saturday, there is a 40% chance of rain for most of the afternoon. Robbie Williams brings surprise star guest out at Co-op Live gig in Manchester
Pop superstar Robbie Williams surprised fans at the first of his two Manchester Co-op Live gigs by bringing out a surprise star guest. Former Take That star Robbie is back in the city with his new Britpop Tour. Earlier gigs on the tour have seen a string of surprise guests join Robbie on stage - including boyband Five in London. On Tuesday night in Manchester, it was another X Factor star who joined Robbie for Relight My Fire. For Robbie announced to the crowds to huge cheers that Lucy Spraggan was joining him to sing. He had earlier brought out Thom Rylance from Wigan's own The Lottery Winners, who played as the support at the start of the night, to perform a selection of acoustic versions of his biggest hits. And Thom remained on stage to play as Lucy joined the duo. Wearing a black leatherette suit, Lucy delighted the crowd singing along to the Take That chart-topper alongside Robbie. The pals embraced at the end of the song, as Robbie said: "Show her the love she deserves." Lucy appeared in The X Factor back in 2012 and has gone on to enjoy chart success as a solo artist. Meanwhile The Lottery Winners frontman Thom had earlier hailed the gig "the best night of my life" after playing the support slot at the sold out Co-op Live arena. When he rejoined Robbie on stage during the "C stage" section of the show, the two singers bantered about what their double act would be called, settling on "The Balls". Robbie returns to Co-op Live for the second of his two shows on Wednesday night.

The Britpop tour, named after his upcoming album of the same name, is set to be a romp through his greatest hits, with a bit of Sinatra thrown in for good measure. Robbie is doing two nights at the Arsenal ground. He'll be playing tomorrow, June 6, and Saturday, June 7. After that, he's heading up north to Manchester before finishing off the UK leg in Bath. What time do doors open? Doors for Robbie Williams' gig tonight will open at 5pm, with the first support act expected to take to the stage at 6pm. What time will Robbie Williams come on stage? Like most stadiums, Emirates only allows bags that are smaller than an A4 sheet of paper. Anything else will either be confiscated, or you will be turned away. In general, the venue advises against bringing a bag if at all possible, and there is no cloakroom to store them in. Banned items 'Do not bring your explosives to the Robbie Williams concert' is a sentence which probably goes without saying, but it's always good to be clear on these things. As well as the obvious (knives, weapons, fireworks and flares, and gas canisters will not be permitted), you are not allowed to bring in any of your own food or drink, except in a soft, 500ml plastic bottle. This includes flasks of hot liquid. Additionally, glass bottles of any kind, including small perfume bottles and similar, are banned. If you're unsure about an item, it's best to leave it at home.
