Cathy Kelley loses it over Liv Morgan's flirty Father's Day message for Dominik Mysterio
Liv Morgan is no stranger to stirring up buzz both inside the ring and outside it. This time, the former WWE Women's Champion sparked a flurry of reactions after posting a bold and flirty message for fellow WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio on Father's Day. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now In an Instagram post that quickly went viral, Morgan shared a romantic tribute to Dominik with the caption: 'Happy Father's Day to the world's best daddy, my Daddy Dom 😍😘🫶 @dominik_35.' The post featured a playful picture accompanied by affectionate emojis - a nod to the ongoing 'LivDom' storyline that has caught the attention of fans and WWE stars alike. Cathy Kelley's reaction adds to the drama While the post was intended to celebrate the on-screen chemistry between Morgan and Mysterio, not everyone was entirely sold. WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley chimed in with a cheeky comment of her own, writing: 'I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.' Her reaction summed up what many fans were likely thinking, a mix of amusement and disbelief. The comment section was soon flooded with responses, ranging from fans cheering the 'couple' to others joking about Mysterio's real-life relationships. One user quipped, 'His wife is the strongest woman alive,' while another added, 'I'm sure Dom's wife loves this post 😂.' Liv Morgan sidelined with legitimate injury Morgan recently suffered a dislocated shoulder during a match against Kairi Sane on RAW. The bout was halted mid-way, and Morgan was later escorted backstage, visibly in pain. WWE confirmed the injury during the broadcast, and she has since been ruled out of action indefinitely. According to reports, the injury is legitimate and could potentially keep her out for several weeks depending on its severity. The unfortunate timing also puts a pause on several storylines, including her budding feud with Roxanne Perez and her ongoing arc with Dominik Mysterio and Judgment Day. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Liv Morgan's injury has paused her in-ring momentum, but her storyline with Dominik Mysterio continues to generate interest. Their chemistry, built on flirtatious segments and social media teases - had hinted at deeper tensions within The Judgment Day, especially with Finn Bálor and Roxanne Perez stirring the pot. Now, with Morgan potentially sidelined for weeks, WWE might have to pivot the narrative or delay its progression. Still, her viral Father's Day message shows the angle hasn't lost steam. Whether WWE builds her absence into the storyline or saves her return for a dramatic twist, 'LivDom' remains a talking point. Also Read:

Is WWE Still Being Run by the Spirit of Vince McMahon?
Is WWE Still Being Run by the Spirit of Vince McMahon? originally appeared on Athlon Sports. WrestleMania 40 featured one of the biggest feel-good moments in WWE history. Cody Rhodes had finally dethroned Roman Reigns for the WWE championship. Triple H was now running the company. This was the beginning of a new era that would lead WWE into a prosperous and fan-friendly future. Advertisement Just over a year later, WWE has squandered much of that goodwill with the fans. The company is still making truckloads of money and is the clear leader in the pro wrestling world. But the public relations department seems to have taken an extended vacation, with several moves taking place that evoke the cutthroat spirit of deposed WWE leader Vince McMahon. R-Truth (Getty) When R-Truth announced on Sunday that WWE was not renewing his contract, many fans thought he must be joking. After all, he had just wrestled John Cena on Saturday Night's Main Event. Truth's fans and co-workers poured out their love and support for the beloved and versatile star, who had just spent 17 years with WWE. Then, the other shoe dropped. Carlito announced that he was also being let go, despite appearing every week on TV as a member of The Judgment Day. Truth is 53 and Carlito is 46, and they can't be employed as wrestlers forever. But the timing and optics are terrible. Also, with the release of Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and several other wrestlers last month, we seem to be back in the Vince McMahon days when wrestlers and staff members are expendable and dropped from the payroll just to please the WWE (now TKO) shareholders. Advertisement Another example of WWE acting like the old days its aggressive tactics in counterprogramming AEW pay-per-views. WWE scheduled three shows on the weekend on Double or Nothing and will do the same in July against All In Texas. When AEW moved the All In start time to the afternoon, WWE scheduled the Great American Bash head-to-head! It all looks bad. WWE management is not acting like the confident leaders of the pro wrestling world. Instead, they are putting profits before people and acting like they are scared of any real competition. We'll see if they can right the ship or whether they continue to waste the goodwill they have built since WrestleMania 40. WWE Money in the Bank 2025 Predictions for Both Ladder Matches
WWE Money in the Bank 2025 Predictions for Both Ladder Matches originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Every year, wrestling purists say it's time to get rid of the Money in the Bank ladder matches. They say that cashing in the briefcase to defeat a tired or injured opponent is a cheap way to win a World championship. Advertisement Indeed, that has happened many times over the years, starting with Edge beating John Cena for the WWE title in 2006. But these purists don't realize that it's very difficult to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. First, you have to win a Triple Threat qualifying match. Then, you have to survive an insane ladder match against five opponents. So these purists need to realize that the Money in the Bank ladder match is like a World championship match. The winner just needs the pick the right moment to collect the gold. So, who are the big favorites and dark horses for this Saturday's ladder matches? Rhea Ripley (Getty) Rhea Ripley is the obvious favorite on the women's side. She is a three-time champion, and she possesses the power and aggression to prevail in a ladder match. Nobody would be surprised to see Ripley become 'Mami in the Bank.' Advertisement Remember, the women's briefcase holder has a perfect 8-for-8 record at becoming World champion. So, is there anyone else who could grab the briefcase and sneak their way to a title victory? My money is on Roxanne Perez. She is already sneaking her way into The Judgment Day by offering chicken nuggets and apples to its members. Finn Balor is supporting her membership in the group. Perez could win the briefcase and use The Judgment Day's help to become champion. Recently, Perez told USA Today that she is starting to feel comfortable in the locker room with the superstars that she grew up watching on TV. Stephanie Vaquer is another contender to win the briefcase. The rest of the field includes Naomi, Giulia, and Alexa Bliss. Seth Rollins and friends attack Jey Uso (Getty) Seth Rollins is the favorite to win the men's briefcase. Paul Heyman has already announced his plan to have Rollins win it and cash in on Jey Uso for the World title. Rollins and his henchmen, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, have already attacked Uso, previewing the blueprint for a successful cash-in. Advertisement Of course, this scheme could easily fall apart. Sami Zayn and CM Punk have come to Uso's aid and could thwart the efforts of Rollins' men. Looking at the rest of the field, LA Knight stands out as the best of the rest. He rode a huge wave of crowd support to win the US title from Logan Paul at SummerSlam. He could capture the briefcase and blow the roof off the arena by cashing in at the perfect time. The rest of the field includes Andrade, Penta, Solo Sikoa, and El Grande Americano. Penta would be a fun choice as a surprise. Sikoa doesn't seem like he's ready for a World title, despite having Bloodline 3.0 behind him. The fact that so many different possibilities exist is a great argument for the Money in the Bank concept to last for many years to come. Don't forget, both World champions will be wrestling in the main event, as John Cena & Logan Paul face Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso. Sometimes, the Money in the Bank winner grabs the World title on the same night. Advertisement Related: Is WWE Still Being Run by the Spirit of Vince McMahon? Finn Balor Is Looking To Snap A Stunning WWE Streak
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A surprising statistic regarding decorated WWE Raw superstar Finn Balor has come out. Wrestle Ops pointed out that today, June 3, 2025, "marks 1 full year since Finn Balor last won a singles match" on television. The prominent Judgment Day member has gotten only three wins in singles action within the past 2 years. This comes despite his consistent presence in high-profile storylines and tag team championship success. Balor's most recent attempt to secure a significant singles opportunity came just last night on the June 2nd episode of Raw. He competed in a challenging Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match against CM Punk and "El Grande Americano" Chad Gable. CM Punk ultimately won the bout. Throughout 2025, Balor has remained a cornerstone of the heel faction, The Judgment Day, on Monday Night RAW. While his individual singles victories have been scarce, he has reached considerable success in the tag team ranks. He notably held the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships multiple times with fellow Judgment Day member Damian Priest. The group, also featuring Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Carlito (before his recent departure), and new recruit Roxanne Perez, continues to be a dominant force on the red brand. PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - APRIL 08: JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio standing in ring at the Wells Fargo Center on April 8, 2024... PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - APRIL 08: JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio standing in ring at the Wells Fargo Center on April 8, 2024 in Philadelphia, news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation Balor's WWE career boasts an impressive list of accolades. He made a massive impact in NXT, where he was a two-time NXT Champion, holding the record for the longest combined reign. Upon his main roster debut in 2016, he made history by becoming the first-ever WWE Universal Champion. His resume also includes two reigns as Intercontinental Champion and one as United States Champion, showcasing his versatility and main event caliber. Known for his captivating "Demon" persona, which appears for his biggest matches, Balor has consistently been a top-level performer until the last three years, during which he has lost the majority of his matches. This current drought in televised singles victories is therefore a notable statistic for a superstar of his stature, even as he thrives within The Judgment Day. It will be interesting to see if WWE turns around its winning ways in the near future or if it continues to head down this direction. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.
