The next one is The Bengal Files which was earlier called The Delhi Files. In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, the director took a dig at John Abraham and recalled the time when they worked together in his 2007 sports drama Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. Agnihotri revealed, 'There were many problems during that time. In the middle of it all, Bipasha Basu and John Abraham broke up during the making of the film. When you're in love, you have to deal with one set of issues, and after a breakup, a whole new set of problems arises.' Even though I was the director of the film, the entire system was functioning based on the intelligence of a very mediocre actor.' On casting John Abraham 'Everyone was like, 'Let's take John, he is a footballer. That's how he became a part of the film. But you tell me, if it's a film about football, what should an actor do? We called a premium league coach to train the cast. Arshad Warsi put his soul into preparing, but in all of John's scenes, we had to shoot his face and feet separately.' 'And Arshad had given his all for that film. He questioned me on things, he didn't tell me, 'reduce my dialogues' Why? Because you can't say them at once? You can't say five lines of dialogues in rhythm at once. This is your problem. Then why should these actor be given so much money?'

She was last seen in Mera Karam Mera Dharam in 1987, after which she remained away from films. However, she is now set to return to the screen in her son's directed mini-series, titled Toasted - Ek Kadak Love Story. What makes this upcoming project even more special is that Yogeeta will be sharing the screen with Mithun Chakraborty and her son, Namashi Chakraborty. Yogeeta Bali Chakraborty returns to acting after 40 years According to the Bollywood Hungama report, Namashi Chakraborty is directing a web mini-series called Toasted- Ek Kadak Love Story. He will also act in this web mini series along with his parents, Mithun Chakraborty and Yogita Bali Chakraborty. This marks Yogita's return to screens after 38 years. Directed by Namashi, the movie will be produced under his banner, Myrnd Movies. Speaking about this film, Namashi told the portal, "Toasted is a love story set in Mumbai." The series is a slice-of-life, light-hearted romantic comedy. He even revealed that they haven't finalized the female lead for Toasted. The filming of Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali Chakraborty's starrer is set to begin on November 3, 2025. Speaking about his forthcoming projects, Namashi said, "This year, as an actor, I have wrapped The Delhi Files. Viraat will go on until July end. And there's Ghost: A Haunting Love Story as well. That's three feature films." With this, fans will be in for a treat to see Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali Chakraborty together on-screen after nearly 4 decades. Mithun Chakraborty is a veteran actor whose stardom has remained unmatched. He gained massive success and fame after portraying versatile roles in many films. Speaking about his personal life, the actor has four kids with his wife, Yogeeta Bali. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has announced a title change for his upcoming film, previously known as The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter. The director took the social media route to share the update about his film. Sharing a poster of the film, Vivek wrote, 'BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: The Delhi Files is now The Bengal Files. Teaser coming this Thursday, 12 June 2025 at 12 PM. In cinemas on 05 September 2025'. As per the poster, the full name of the film is 'The Bengal Files: Right to Life'. It was previously titled, 'The Delhi Files – The Bengal Chapter'. Sharing the reason behind the title change, Vivek tells us, 'The first and foremost reason is that the film is about Bengal. When we started making the project, we thought we would make a two-part project with one film titled Delhi Files and the second on the lines of the Bengal chapter". 'But then people started writing and asking me to make it the Bengal Files. Then I did a poll where 99 people asked me to change the title. That's when I thought, why get stuck in the communication... Now, it makes more sense.' Now, the director shared that the second film will also undergo a title change. 'We will have to change the title of the second part as well.... But that's something we will see after releasing the first chapter,' he shares. Now titled The Bengal Files, the film is expected to highlight painful and often forgotten events from Bengal's past. The movie aims to bring a hidden part of Indian history to light. Mithun Chakraborty will be joined by Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, and Darshan Kumar in key roles. The film is written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi under the banners I Am Buddha Productions and Abhishek Agarwal Arts, along with Tej Narayan Agarwal.
