Yella Beezy Indicted For Hiring Hitman That Killed Mo3

Yella Beezy has been arrested in connection with the murder of fellow rapper Mo3. USA Today reports that the Dallas rapper was indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday (March 18) and booked into the Dallas County Jail on Thursday (March 20). An arrest warrant was issued for the rapper, né Markies Conway, after investigators learned that he'd hired a man named Kewon Dontrell White for Mo3's killing. DJ Akademiks shared a copy of the indictment on X/Twitter, revealing that the Southern artist 'called [White] on or about the 11th day of November 2020 … intentionally and knowingly' planned the killing. As a result, the 'That's On Me' rapper has been charged with capital murder with promise of remuneration. If convicted for both the murder and the murder-for-hire plot, Mo3 will be facing the death penalty in Texas. Investigators claim that a ski-masked White ambushed Noble in broad daylight on a Dallas street. Mo3 exited his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, but his attacker fired several shots. Noble was hit in the back. Cops say it was White who then fled the crime scene in a dark-colored vehicle. Melvin Noble was pronounced dead at a local hospital on Nov. 11, 2020. After his murder, Mo3's manager, Brandon Rainwater released a statement, telling CBS 11, '[MO3] spoke for the Black community, the white community, the Mexican community, for all races. We lost a good speaker, a poet, an artist.' White was arrested for the murder the following month and is currently in custody serving a nine-year sentence for gun charges.
