BJP plans ‘Thank you Modi' hoardings to greet PM
Bhubaneswar: BJP is preparing an elaborate welcome for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the state on Friday, with 'Thank You Modi' hoardings planned across the city.
"The PM will unveil a comprehensive road map for Odisha's development until 2036 during his visit," state BJP president Manmohan Samal announced at a news conference here on Wednesday.

Explaining the 'Thank You Modi' plan, Samal said it acknowledges the PM's love for Odisha and his focus on state's development.
Modi will arrive at the city airport at 3 pm and participate in a grand roadshow from Biju Patnaik Square to Janata Maidan, passing through AG Square, Raj Bhavan Square, Kalinga Stadium Square, and Jayadev Bhavan Square. A tricolour march and cultural performances at 10 locations will mark the route.
"The visit coincides with the completion of 11 years of the NDA govt and one year of BJP's govt in Odisha," Samal said. "Workers from all assembly constituencies will attend the PM's public gathering at Janata Maidan."
During the event, Modi will launch several projects through video conferencing, including new rail services and EV buses. He will also release the Odisha Vision- 2036 and -2047 booklets and honour beneficiaries of various central and state govt welfare schemes.
Party officials said preparations are in final stages, with a review meeting held under chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi, BJP national general secretary Sunil Bansal, and state in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar. The PM is scheduled to address the public gathering at 4:30 PM before returning to Delhi.
