Worshipping Lord Vishnu on Yogini Ekadashi is said to bring happiness, wealth, and prosperity. The fast is also believed to purify the body, mind, and soul. Devotees on a spiritual path are encouraged to observe the Ekadashi fast each month, as it is believed to lead them to Baikuntha Dham, the divine abode of Lord Vishnu. Live Events On this sacred occasion, people engage in various spiritual and religious activities. The Yogini Ekadashi fast can be observed by anyone, regardless of age, caste, or background. It is especially recommended for those seeking relief from physical or mental ailments. For those unable to fast, performing puja to Lord Vishnu on Ekadashi with full devotion and proper rituals is considered equally beneficial. Listening to the story of Yogini Ekadashi is also believed to yield great spiritual merit—comparable to feeding thousands of Brahmins. Yogini Ekadashi 2025: Story According to Hindu Scriptures, there was a gardener named Hemamali who served Kuber and was passionately in love with his wife. Iran Israel Conflict: Does Israel have a nuclear arsenal? All you may want to know

Israel's recent strikes on Iran have renewed international focus on its own nuclear capabilities. While Iran's nuclear ambitions are monitored and widely debated, Israel maintains a long-standing policy of ambiguity regarding its nuclear arsenal. This development has raised concerns among global analysts and non-proliferation experts. Israel Launches Strikes Israel launched attacks on Iran on Friday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran was close to developing a nuclear weapon. He stated that Israel had to act because a nuclear-armed Iran would pose a threat to the country. According to US Senator Mark Warner, who leads the Senate Intelligence Committee, the American view on Iran's nuclear program has not changed since March. The US intelligence community believes Iran has enriched uranium but has not decided to build a bomb. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like An engineer reveals: 1 simple trick to get all TV channels Techno Mag Learn More Undo Also Read: The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4: When will it release? Here's what to expect in upcoming season and all details about cast and production team Israel's Nuclear Policy Israel has never confirmed having nuclear weapons. Experts refer to this as a policy of 'opacity.' Jeffrey Lewis from the Middlebury Institute now calls it 'implausible deniability.' Live Events Israel is part of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) but has not signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Countries like India, Pakistan, North Korea, and South Sudan are also non-signatories. To join the treaty, Israel would need to give up any nuclear weapons. The NPT recognizes only five nuclear states: the United States, Britain, Russia, China and France. Historical Background Groups like the Federation of American Scientists estimate that Israel has about 90 nuclear warheads. Due to Israel's secrecy, it is difficult to confirm this number. Reports suggest that Israel began developing nuclear weapons after its founding in 1948. A 1969 US government memo revealed Israel agreed not to be the first to introduce nuclear weapons in the region, but the meaning remains unclear. Did Mark Carney take a swipe at Trump? Internet buzzes over his 'wink' moment with Emmanuel Macron

The G7 summit in Kananaskis, Alberta, wrapped up with weighty discussions on Iran, global security, and trade — but what truly set the internet ablaze was neither the joint statement nor the early departure of U.S. President Donald Trump . It was, instead, a blink-and-you-miss-it moment: a 'wink' exchanged between Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and French President Emmanuel Macron — just as US President Donald Trump delivered one of his classic lines. Wink, smirk, or silent shade? As world leaders gathered for the traditional " family photo " Monday evening, Trump stood before reporters summing up his whirlwind 24 hours at the summit. "I have to be back early. I loved it. I tell you I loved it. And I think we got a lot done," Trump said. Cameras caught the host of this year's G7 glancing sideways toward Macron — and, according to the internet jury, winking. Macron responded with a subtle smile. Coincidence? Maybe. But the internet was already off to the races. "Prime Minister Carney winking at President Macron like WTF is this elderly guy saying!" one user posted on X, sharing the now-viral snippet of the two leaders. Live Events — Suzierizzo1 (@Suzierizzo1) Another chimed in, "Macron looks about to bust out laughing," while a third quipped, "He's saying to Macron, 'nice one. It worked. 'But we had just a really great relationship with everybody. It was really nice. I wish I could stay for tomorrow, but they understand, this is big stuff,' Trump added, before boarding Air Force One. Internet sleuths weren't ready to let go. After all, the man who once talked about making Canada the '51st US state' had now been seen off with what some described as a diplomatic smirk and a well-timed wink. Carney, in a press conference the next day, struck a diplomatic tone: "We're grateful for the president's (Trump's) presence. We fully understand his commitments." No mention of eye gestures. No denial either. The summit continued — without the moment's main character With Trump out of the picture, Tuesday's G7 sessions included Indian PM Narendra Modi, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The group's attention quickly turned toward Iran. The G7 leaders issued a joint declaration stating that "Iran can never have a nuclear weapon" and called for urgent de-escalation in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Carney and Trump — before the latter's exit — had committed to pushing forward a new bilateral trade deal within 30 days. Whether that handshake was followed by a wink remains unclear. But one thing is certain: on a summit stage meant for diplomacy, security, and policy, it was a well-timed twitch of the eye that stole the internet's thunder.

All flights to and from the Indonesian resort island of Bali resumed on Thursday after being cancelled or delayed due to eruptions of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki, officials said. Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki, located in East Nusa Tenggara province, erupted on Tuesday, spewing ash 11 km (7 miles) high. Eighty-seven flights to and from Bali, consisting of 66 international and 21 domestic flights, were affected on Wednesday by the eruption, the Bali airport operator said in a statement. A number of flights operated by AirAsia Malaysia and AirAsia Indonesia to and from Bali, Lombok and Labuan Bajo, which were cancelled since Wednesday, have also resumed, the airline said. Two airports in East Nusa Tenggara province reopened on Thursday after being temporarily closed on Wednesday. However, authorities extended the closure of Fransiskus Xaverius Seda airport in Maumere until Friday as there was still some volcanic ash in the air posing a risk to flights, the airport's operator said in a post on social media. Dozens of residents living in three villages nearest to the volcano have been evacuated, the local disaster mitigation agency said. According to Indonesia's volcanology agency, Lewotobi has erupted 427 times this year. Tuesday's eruption is the largest since November last year when it erupted several times, and killed at least 9 people. Indonesia sits on the Pacific Ring of Fire , an area of high seismic activity atop multiple tectonic plates.

Russia is on the verge of recession, says Putin government

Russia's economy is on the verge of sliding into recession, Economy Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum on Thursday. Russia this month cut interest rates for the first time since 2022, easing borrowing costs to 20% from 21%. But for months, businesses have complained of high rates stifling investment and economic growth has started to ease. "According to the figures, there is a cooling, but all our figures are in the rear-view mirror," Reshetnikov said. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Why Seniors Are Snapping Up This TV Box, We Explain! At the same session, Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina said the current slowdown in GDP growth was "a way out of overheating". Live Events Alexander Vedyakhin, First Deputy CEO of Russia's largest lender Sberbank said in an interview with Reuters this week that tight monetary policy was creating overcooling risks and said much lower interest rates of 12-14% would be acceptable to restart investment lending. "There is a danger of the economy overcooling and that we will not be able to get out of this dip, and that further growth may be subdued," Vedyakhin said.
