Aberdeen bathe in Celtic tears and rip into Rangers 'corruption' with astonishing fixture announcement troll

The hilarious clip has gone down a storm with Dons and rival supporters in stitches Aberdeen have rinsed their eleven top flight rivals with a hilarious mickey-taking montage to announce their fixtures for the new Premiership season. The Dons shared a clip on their Instagram page which has gone down a storm on social media - even with some opposition fans. ‌ But Jimmy Thelin will be hoping it doesn't backfire by getting their rivals fired up when they come to meet. ‌ For it includes rubbing salt into the fresh wounds of Celtic with a clip of Hoops skipper Callum McGregor in tears after their Scottish Cup penalty shootout win just last month. The compilation lists the dates for the games against each of their rivals in the first part of the season, with the Hoops the visitors to Pittodrie on matchday two. And for their game against bitter rivals Rangers at Ibrox on November 1 they played the controversial clip of John Brown claiming a decision not to award Nico Raskin a goal at Easter Road last season was 'corrupt'. Rangers were fined £3000 by the Scottish Football Association for the comment and blasted the authorities in a scathing statement. For Dundee United they showed a series of tweets from the Tannadice club talking about qualifying for the Europa League - only for Aberdeen's Hampden heroics to relegate them to the Conference League. ‌ They ended with a clip of Spanish comedian Juan Joya Borja, better known as El Ristas (The Giggles) and his famous laugh. The Tangerines rivals Dundee had new boss Steven Pressley and his admission that if the Dark Blues were looking for a boss to win silverware then WASN'T their man, which saw him criticised. And for new boys Falkirk it was a clip of some young Bairns ultras which was mocked, St Mirren and images of them allowing Celtic to take over their club shop for a day while Hibs was a clip of Jamie McGrath, moving to Easter Road, holding aloft the Scottish Cup as fans changed 'Hibs are falling apart again.' All fans were loving it, with one saying: 'Fair play, that is class,' but another added: 'Bold. What could possibly go wrong?'

'Couldn't get better draw - but we must be professional'

We asked for your views after Dundee United were paired with UNA Strassen of Luxembourg in their Conference League second-round what some of you said:Gary: Couldn't have asked for a better draw. We should comfortably have too much for Strassen and it's only a short trip. Tiny stadium, will make the second leg feel like a pre-season game, so Jim Goodwin will have to make sure the boys are We have to finish the tie in the home leg and go over to Luxembourg with a comfortable lead. We have five pre-season games to get the new faces familiar with each other. Happy with the signings so far but need more coverage. Get the cheque book out, Mark Ogren!George: Surprised the first leg is at Tannadice since we're the seeded team but hopefully we'll prevail over the two legs. It's imperative with pre-season training starting on 19 June that key signings are made to bolster the squad over the next two weeks or so. That would allow us to get up to speed in sufficient time for the ties. It's good their season starts at the same time as R: Couldn't get a better draw. Think there might be more United support over there than home fans. Their ground holds 1,500. Their first taste of Europe last year ended in a 5-0 defeat. First of all we need more signings. In Goodwin we Great to be back where the club belong in European competition, great chance to progress to the next round if we approach in the right manner. Would like to see some new signings now to strengthen the team for the big season A few seasons ago we got into a European qualifier, sold a lot of players, lost the qualifier, then got relegated that season. I hope history doesn't repeat itself. Quality signings needed with a proven track record in domestic football.

How Dundee United new boy Zac Sapsford fumbled Bukayo Saka jersey when his bottle crashed

Dundee United's first summer signing Zac Sapsford has revealed how he missed out on a signed Bukayo Saka jersey when his bottle crashed – literally. The Australian forward arrives at Tannadice with a hidden skill, and it caught the eye of ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Spain superstar Juan Mata, a teammate at Western Sydney Wanderers last season. Sapsford, 22, has a talent for bottle flipping and, after showcasing the ability over lunch during an away trip, Mata challenged the youngster to land THIRTY in a row in return for a shirt of his choice. Sapsford opted for Arsenal ace Saka – and came agonisingly close. Instead, he was tasked with weeks on the coffee run. 'I'm pretty good at bottle flipping,' he told the Row Z FC podcast. 'We were at a hotel and had just finished dinner and I was doing some bottle flips. Juan said, 'wow, you are really good at that'. Then he told me that if I got 30 in a row, he'd get me whatever jersey I want. 'I said, 'make it a signed [Bukayo] Saka jersey, and I'll do it'. So, I started, and the whole team was watching. It's getting very pressurised. I had like 28 in a row and flipped it up…then it fell. 'Everyone was all around me – even the coaches – and it was not good. I was that close. 'Instead, my punishment was to get him seven coffees whenever he wanted!' Nevertheless, the tale speaks to the rapport shared by the erstwhile teammates; two men at the opposite end of their career journeys. Mata, 35, boasts a World Cup, two European Championship and a Champions League among an astonishing haul of medals and Sapsford readily admits that the mercurial midfielder is TOO GOOD to learn from. However, his influence was still tangible. 'On the pitch, there's not much to learn from Juan – because he's too good,' he continued. 'You can't really take too much from him because you look at some of the things he does and say, 'I'll never be able to do that'. 'But off the pitch, he is an amazing person and the bits of advice he gave me in different scenarios was invaluable. 'Whether it's reacting to coming off or being annoyed at being benched one week; he'd tell me how he went through those things at top-level clubs. 'Those types of things helped me through the season, and to have someone like that somewhat mentoring you was a cool thing.' Sapsford has penned a three-year deal with the Tangerines and, along with Moldova international Iurie Iuvo, represents the first pieces of Jim Goodwin's summer rebuild at Tannadice. And he told United fans what to expect. Asked what attributes he would bring to the Scottish game, Sapsford said: 'I'd say my link-up play. 'I like to drive with the ball if I get the chance; I'm really good at that. And although I'm not super tall, I like to win most of my aerial duels. Goalscoring and assists, too. I like to set players up and find the killer pass. 'I'll never stop running and I love putting all my energy out there. I'll never come off the pitch feeling like I haven't given everything.' Sapsford, who still harbours a dream of making the Australia World Cup squad next summer, added: 'What I am expecting (in Scotland) is a lot of physicality. 'I'm happy with that. I like a bit of contact in games. That's what football is for and I'm ready for anything.' You can listen to the full episode of Row Z FC here.
