And then it went on telly and everyone kept ringing her, so she cried all night." Additionally, Rylan expressed heartfelt praise for Rob Rinder, his co-host, calling him his "partner in crime" and professing his deep affection, be he swiftly clarified: "Not like that – we are just friends."

Eamonn Holmes vows to ‘redouble' his efforts to walk again
Eamonn Holmes has vowed to 'redouble' his efforts to walk again. The 65-year-old has suffered a series of falls, surgeries and health setbacks that have left him reliant on canes and a wheelchair, and has now shared a poignant update with fans on social media, alongside a photograph of himself from 2022, standing tall in a suit beside a DeLorean sports car. He captioned it: 'Great picture popped up from 3 years but it's made me sad – I could walk. 'Got to redouble my efforts.' The TV presenter, who rose to fame as a host on ITV's 'This Morning' and now fronts GB News Breakfast, has been grappling with a string of health issues over recent years. He suffered a fall live on air earlier this year, which came just two weeks after he had been hospitalised following a similar incident. Both falls aggravated existing injuries from a spinal operation in 2022, as well as previous accidents at his Surrey home. The most recent fall occurred during his GB News segment, when a chair reportedly gave way beneath him. Speaking at the end of the programme, Eamonn told viewers: 'The chair gave way and I was lying flat on my back with my head hanging off the set. 'The first hour or so I was OK because the adrenaline kicked in, but then as the morning went on I felt the aches and pains. The worst thing is that two weeks ago I was hospitalised for a similar fall in the same area – back of my neck, head and shoulders – and that's all come back.' He added: 'We're going to have to replace the chairs because I'm not the only one to have fallen.' Fans have since rallied around Eamonn, sending words of encouragement in response to his post on X. One wrote: 'Keep pushing forward, Eamonn. Perseverance always pays off.' Another commented: 'Wolf whistle – still got it, Eamonn.' The veteran broadcaster, who had a double hip replacement in 2016, has continued to suffer from chronic pain since a follow-up spinal procedure in September 2022. In 2021, he was rushed to hospital after what was described as 'pain he's never felt in his life'. Further complications came in 2023 when he fractured his shoulder during a fall at home. Away from the studio, Eamonn is also dealing with personal upheaval is currently going through a divorce from Ruth Langsford, 65, with whom he previously shared a £3.6million home in Surrey. He was seen using a mobility scooter in public in late 2023 and appeared at the TRIC Awards using a walking frame, later telling reporters he was 'not OK'. Despite his physical challenges, Eamonn has continued to appear on screen, earning praise from colleagues who have described him as a 'trooper' for carrying on amid his health fight.

Eamonn Holmes gives fans update after falling off his chair on live TV
Eamonn suffered the blunder live on air on Wednesday. Eamonn Holmes has given fans an update after he fell off his chair yesterday whilst presenting GB News. The 65 year old has been open over the years about his struggles with chronic pain and mobility issues and yesterday, during an interview on GB News, he went crashing to the floor. The camera did not pan over to Eamonn in distress but he could be heard saying that he was 'fine' and urged the interview to 'carry on'. However, social commentator Charlie Rowley was clearly left flustered by the disruption and the show then went to a break. When it returned, Eamonn was back in his seat and waved away the incident. He said: 'Welcome back. Good to see you again. Especially good for me to see you again. I am still alive, yes." 'And they're very wonky wheels on chairs that we've got here, and as a matter of fact, we don't really like the chairs full stop, do we?They're a bit slippy and slidey and I've slipped and slid off mine there. 'Not the first guest to have done so, we've had a few… they have to remain nameless because they're well-known people, but they've hit the floor really badly, quite frightening.' Eamonn then said that his fall was 'a bit of a shock' which comes just weeks after he was hospitalised from an accident in his home. He added: 'And it was a bit of a shock for me because I had a fall in my bathroom two weeks ago, which hospitalised me, and that hit me again right in the back. (I'm) really, really sore. Really sore." This is not the first time Eamonn has had a on air health mishap as last year he had to abruptly leave mid-show during the live broadcast of his GB News programme after suddenly feeling ill. His sudden absence halfway through a 7:45am chat with Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health Maria Caulfield caused considerable concern. During the discussion, Eamonn stayed noticeably silent while co-host Isabel Webster led the conversation with the MP. After his hasty departure from the studio, Isabel carried on solo, hosting their breakfast show by herself for another hour and a half. In a statement regarding this incident, a GB News representative said, "Eamonn had to finish a little earlier today as he was feeling unwell. He hopes to be back tomorrow." The 64-year-old presenter has unfortunately been struggling with health issues over recent years. At the TRIC Awards, he unveiled that a surgical procedure he had undergone "went wrong". In his heartfelt speech, he said, "Thank you very much for this award. We were up against world-class programmes and that makes it a little bit more special. Sometimes we all think about imposter syndrome. I went for an operation a year and a half ago and it went wrong. I got two things in my back that I didn't want." Eamonn Holmes Shocks GB News Colleagues After Falling Off His Chair Live On Air
Eamonn Holmes has insisted he's doing 'fine' after falling off his chair on live TV. On Wednesday's edition of the GB News breakfast show, the former This Morning host was chairing a debate when the incident occurred. While contributor Charlie Rowley was speaking, a loud crash was heard off-camera, prompting Eamonn's co-host to declare: 'Oh my gosh!' 'OK, forget it,' Eamonn then said. 'I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine, just carry on.' However, as Rowley was heard stumbling over the next part of his argument, GB News cut to an ad break, sparking concern from some viewers over on X. 'They're very wonky wheels on chairs we've got here,' he said. 'As a matter of fact we don't really like the chairs here.' Eamonn also admitted that the fall was 'a bit of a shock for me' because just two weeks earlier, he'd 'had a fall' in his bathroom that landed him in hospital. His rep told Metro: 'Eamonn slipped off his chair. I've been told he's fine to carry on.' After undergoing back surgery in 2022, the daytime star said he began suffering problems with his left leg. During this recovery period, Eamonn suffered a fall at his home and was left with several injuries, including a broken bone, and took an additional four months off work. In recent history, he has repeatedly been pictured using a wheelchair, telling fellow guests during his acceptance speech at the TRIC Awards last year: 'I had an operation a year and a half ago, and two things went wrong, so I have two things in my back I don't want. So I'll happily accept this [award].' A week after this, Eamonn was forced to leave the GB News studio in the middle of a live broadcast, following a sudden bout of illness.
