Fans were screaming with joy the second the members stepped onto the stage. Apart from the official launch, some very lucky winners, who participated in the brand's contest, got to take a group photo with TREASURE! I-DLE's MINNIE To Make Special Appearance In KL This July
Although she has admitted she's not the best at replying to messages, I-DLE (아이들) member MINNIE (민니/มินนี่) still made sure to answer fans' calls for her to visit. The 'Queen Card' singer has now been confirmed to make a special appearance in Kuala Lumpur next month! Following the success of the recent BRICE Truffle launch event featuring 4 members of TREASURE, ecoBrown teased fans with the promise of another K-pop idol visiting Malaysia for an upcoming event. From the silhouette photo posted online, many were quick to correctly guess that the mystery idol was none other than MINNIE of I-DLE. Yesterday (Thursday, 5th June), ecoBrown officially announced that MINNIE will be making a special appearance in Kuala Lumpur soon. Although further details have yet to be revealed, it's reasonable to assume that the 'BRICE with MINNIE' event will follow a similar format to the previous one with TREASURE, where fans had the opportunity to meet and take photos with the artists. 'Something very special is in the works for our fans and customers 💫. We will be rewarding fans with unforgettable moments with the idol, up close and personal 💕,' the brand captioned the post on Instagram. Unlike the previous event, the upcoming appearance by the I-DLE member will take place over the weekend, on Saturday, 12th July 2025. The time and venue are expected to be announced at a later date. That's not all—MINNIE is also set to make an additional appearance for another brand, Nuuna Malaysia. This event is expected to be a more intimate fan meet, similar in style to TREASURE's recent one in KL. According to the promotional poster, the session will also take place on the same day at 5pm, with the venue yet to be revealed. Are you excited to see the idol live in person? TREASURE Fans Upset Over Alleged Mistreatment By Group's Recent KL Event Organiser
Last Friday (30th May), fans were over the moon as TREASURE members Park Jeongwoo (박정우), Doyoung (도영), Choi Hyunsuk (최현석), and Haruto (하루토/ハルト) made a special appearance at Sunway Pyramid for ecoBrown's BRICE with TREASURE event. Some lucky fans even managed to greet the idols at KLIA upon their arrival, on the same day EXO's Suho landed in Malaysia. Although the event itself appeared to be a success, things seemingly didn't go as smoothly when it came to managing the brand's contest winners, who were meant to meet the idols on stage. Here's what happened: On Wednesday (4th June), a fan took to Twitter to share their experience as one of the winners of ecoBrown's contest to meet TREASURE during the brand's recent BRICE Malaysia with TREASURE event. The user detailed the agreement they were required to sign and expressed frustration over several rules that, in their view, did not make sense. According to the screenshots of the guidelines shared, the organisers requested that fans refrain from taking photos or videos throughout the event, despite it being held in a public space. The user claimed that the brand had initially posted the same guidelines on social media, but later changed the caption to specify that the rule applied only to contest winners. This led to confusion, as the winners were positioned closer to the boy group and understandably had more opportunities to capture content. As if that weren't enough, the winners were reportedly not provided with chairs while waiting for the group photo session with the idols onstage. This detail can be verified, as members of the media, including Hype Malaysia, were seen standing beside the winners in the designated waiting zone. Another fan also shared their conversation with ecoBrown on Instagram, in which the brand explained that they had removed criticisms and complaints from their social media to avoid the risk of being blacklisted by K-artists for future events. The company further clarified that they were required to strictly enforce the rules and agreements set by TREASURE's management in order to ensure the artists' safety. The same day that the IG conversation circulated, BRICE Malaysia issued a statement to reiterate the explanation they had given to the user on the social media platform. However, the brand has yet to address the complaints about the day of the event itself and the alleged mistreatment towards the winners. Let's hope the next event featuring a K-pop idol will be a lot better. Four whole floors of the mall were packed to the brim with die-hard TEUMEs ( that's TREASURE fans for all you casuals out there ), eager to show their love for their music idols. The guys greeted the crowd with sweet messages like 'Apa khabar!' , 'Gempak doh!' , and even joked that 'Malaysia is panas—but we love it here!' . They also posed for photos with a few lucky fans and shared how grateful they were to be back in Malaysia since their last visit in 2024. And when asked about their favourite Brice rice puff flavour, they all said that truffle was definitely their top pick, declaring that it was 'Very delicious!' . (Video) EXO Suho, TREASURE & CRAVITY Members Greeted By Fans After Arriving At KLIA
The end of May is truly an exciting time for K-pop fans. Earlier this year, it was announced that EXO leader Suho, and K-pop boy groups CRAVITY and TREASURE, will be making their appearances in Kuala Lumpur on Friday (30th May) and Saturday (31 May) respectively. It now appears that the idols have safely arrived in Malaysia, with fans gathering at Kuala Lumpur International Airport to give them a warm welcome. Here's what went down: Let's start with EXO's Suho. The singer safely landed at KLIA last night (Thursday, 29th May), where he was greeted by excited fans who had been eagerly awaiting his arrival for hours. The 34-year-old was seen waving to supporters while being escorted by security personnel to a buggy, which transported him to his vehicle. Suho is set to take the stage later tonight at Mega Star Arena for his 'Meet Your SUperstar' Falcon x SUHO Special Performance concert. This also marks his third SOLO return to Malaysia after performing here twice last year. On the same day, TREASURE members Park Jeongwoo, Doyoung, Choi Hyunsuk and Haruto were also spotted at the airport. The boys will be making a special appearance later today for the Brice With TREASURE event at Sunway Pyramid. Early this morning, just before dawn, fans who had gathered at the airport since the wee hours spotted the members of CRAVITY shortly after they disembarked from their flight. The boys were seen cheerfully waving to fans from the upper levels of the terminal as they made their way through the airport to their vehicle. For those who may not be aware, member Taeyoung previously lived in Malaysia for 4 years, making this visit something of a homecoming for the vocalist. The idol group is set to share the stage with ATEEZ for the 2025 KPop Masterz In Kuala Lumpur With ATEEZ And CRAVITY concert happening tomorrow. At the time of writing, there's no information on when ATEEZ themselves will arrive in KL, but we can assume that their flight will be later today.
