Bikers demand Rs 50L from showroom owner in Hansi
Hisar: Two unidentified men attempted to extort Rs 50 lakh from two businesswomen in Hansi by throwing a threatening note inside their showroom on Thursday evening. The slip, carrying a warning and signed with the name, "Golu Bhim Nagariya", threatened serious consequences if the demand was not met by 10 am the next day. Police said the incident occurred around 8 pm at the TQS showroom in the Green Valley Market near the Ramayan toll plaza on the Delhi-Hisar highway. The showroom is jointly operated by Anju Rani and her sister. At the time of the incident, only a female employee was present. The employee, in a statement, said two young men arrived on a motorcycle and stopped outside the showroom. The pillion rider got off, entered the store, and inquired about clothing items. Moments later, he went back to the entrance and shouted to the other man on the bike, asking him to hand over a phone. While still at the entrance, the man turned back inside and threw a slip of paper on the floor before fleeing with his accomplice. The employee informed showroom owner Anju Rani, who contacted the police. Officers from the Hansi Sadar police station initiated an investigation. They questioned the employee and reviewed CCTV footage from the area in an attempt to identify the culprits. 'Rs 50 Lakh By 10am, Not A Joke': Hisar Duo Try To Extort Showroom Owner With Scribbled Note

Both suspects, with uncovered faces, then sped away on a bike An alarming extortion attempt unfolded on Wednesday night in Hansi, Hisar district, Haryana. Around 7:57 pm, two men on a bike arrived at the Green Valley Market near Ramayan Toll Plaza on the Delhi-Hisar Highway. One of them entered a clothing showroom and demanded Rs 50 lakh from the owner. The incident was caught on the showroom's CCTV cameras. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. The showroom, reportedly operated by TQS company, had staff present during the incident. According to sources, the youth first pretended to inquire about clothes before stepping out to get a mobile phone from his accomplice waiting on a bike. He then returned and threw a slip containing a threatening message which read, 'Golu Bhim Nagariya – Deliver Rs 50 lakh by 10 AM. Don't take this as a joke, or you'll understand yourself after 10 AM." A mobile number was also written on the slip. Before fleeing, the youth loudly said, 'Arrange Rs 50 lakh and don't take this matter lightly." Both suspects then sped away on a bike. The duo had their faces uncovered. Upon receiving the alert, officials from the Sadar police station reached the spot and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the showroom and nearby areas is being reviewed to identify the accused. Sadar police station in-charge Ramesh Kumar, who inspected the scene, confirmed that a ransom demand had been reported from Green Valley Market. He added that a police team is on-site and the investigation is underway based on the CCTV evidence.
