Lehecka's energy-sapping win proved too much for the Czech athlete as she was overcome by emotion. She was spotted bursting into tears while applauding her man's efforts in scorching 30c heat. A track and field athlete, Lucka has been embracing the London life over the past week. She uploaded a series of snaps to her 129,000 Instagram fans ahead of Saturday's semi-final at Queen's. And the 19-year-old's frustrations were clear to see when he netted a backhand on the run. Mensik swatted his tennis racquet down towards the grass court - not down into the turf. But as his arm swung through, the handle slipped from his grasp and flew out. Had the racquet hit someone, Mensik would have almost certainly been defaulted - even though it would be an accident. Spectator treated for injuries as PANEL falls from above and loud bang heard in arena during Alexander Zverev clash

Zverev, 28, was taking on American Marcos Giron in front of a home German crowd. It scarily emerged that an advertising panel had fallen from the front of the upper tier onto the lower seats. Zverev and umpire Renaud Lichtenstein approached the stands offering an ice pack. The tournament went on to confirm that a 62-year-old spectator had been taken to hospital following the frightening incident. Emma Raducanu reveals she keeps being BANNED from Italian Open grounds and was exposed by Alcaraz, however, quelled speculation that they were an item in the aftermath of his destruction of Djokovic. He admitted: "'I am looking for someone. "It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time." Those hopeful of seeing Raducanu and Alcaraz play together may be left disappointed as the duo have yet to confirm if they'll indeed compete in the tournament. The deadline for them to do so is July 28. The re-imagined mixed doubles championship will break protocol this year by taking place a week before the main tournament. The decision was made in a bold bid to try to entice some of the bigger names in the sport to compete in it.

It was a lengthy encounter and the score was poised in a deciding set at 7-5, 3-6, 5-5 when light faded and play was suspended. As both trudged off the court ahead of a return today, Kotov supposedly made a death threat to Moutet. Moutet, who made fourth round of the French Open last year, alleged in a now-deleted post that his opponent said: "Next time you come to the net, I'll kill you. One day, someone will kill you."
