Tata Curvv EV and Nexon EV get lifetime warranty
Tata Nexon EV is one of the most popular electric vehicles in India. The Curvv EV is the most affordable coupe electric SUV in the market. Check Offers Tata Motors is preparing to launch a lifetime warranty with unlimited kilometres for the Curvv EV and Nexon EV. The 'lifetime' here refers to the period of fifteen years from the first date of registration of the vehicle at the local RTO office. Even the existing owners will be able to get these benefits. It is important to note that owners of only the 45 kWh Nexon EV are eligible for this benefit. For the second registration onwards, the warranty will be 8 years or 1,60,000 km for the Nexon EV 45 and Curvv EV. Tata says that all the owners after the first one need to inform the brand about the ownership transfer or else the battery warranty will not be offered. Tata unlimited warranty terms and conditions Tata Motors has set a few terms and conditions that the buyer will have to follow to retain his or her unlimited warranty. The vehicle must be serviced or repaired at an authorised service station, following the maintenance schedule recommended by TATA Passenger Electric Mobility Limited. Registration of the vehicle should be done in the name of private individuals. Registrations made under the company perk car scheme for employees, including subsequent transfers of the vehicle to the same employee. The warranty shall be null and void if the vehicle is transferred or sold to any third party. The vehicle must maintain an active & uninterrupted connection throughout the entire ownership period. The battery must be free from any physical damage or tampering. In case of replacement/repair of HV battery during the warranty period, will bring the energy capacity of the HV battery to a value equal to steady state SOH before battery replacement or at 80 per cent, whichever is higher. Tata.ev Launches First 10 MegaChargers Across India
has inaugurated its first set of ten MegaChargers in India, covering multiple locations across the country. This marks the initial phase of the brand's effort to install 500 high-speed charging stations in the country. It is to be noted that the charging station installations have been developed in partnership with ChargeZone and Statiq. These have been positioned along the major highway corridors and urban centers in the country. The charging infrastructure has three stations along the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route, four on the Delhi-Jaipur highway, and more points on the Pune-Nashik route, as well as in Bengaluru and Udaipur. The flagship 400 kW MegaCharger located in Vadodara is capable of charging up to six vehicles at once, providing around 150 km of range in just 15 minutes. The company has embraced an 'Open Collaboration' approach to work alongside various Charge Point Operators and Oil Marketing Companies. Commenting on the development, Balaje Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said, 'At a time when EV adoption is on its growth path, ubiquitous and dependable charging infrastructure is the need of the hour. TATA.ev launches 10 MegaChargers to expand EV charging network
has commissioned the first 10 high-speed MegaChargers as part of its national EV charging network. The move is part of the company's plan to expand available charge points to 400,000 by 2027. Developed in partnership with ChargeZone and Statiq, these installations are located across key highways and urban locations. The company said this initiative supports its strategy to enhance both intercity and urban electric vehicle mobility through its 'Open Collaboration' framework. Under this model, the company is working with charge point operators (CPOs) and oil marketing companies (OMCs) to improve charging infrastructure. Charging infrastructure expansion The 10 MegaChargers are the first phase of planned rollout of 500 such chargers across India. The company has placed these units in locations with high electric vehicle density to ensure easier access and reduce waiting times. Notably, the Vadodara station features a flagship 400kW charger that can charge up to six vehicles simultaneously and deliver 150km of range in just 15 MegaChargers on the Delhi–Jaipur Highway are spaced roughly every 60km, offering 120kW fast charging at popular stops such as SS Plaza (Gurugram), Hotel Old Rao (Kaprivas), Asli Pappu Dhaba (Hamzapur), and Hotel Highway King (Shahpura).The Pune–Nashik corridor has a key installation at Akash Misal House (Rajgurunagar), while urban commuters in Bengaluru can use the new charger at Monk Mansion in Electronic City. Udaipur also gains a strategically located charger at Ramee Royal Resort, catering to both tourists and speed, these MegaChargers are designed to enhance the EV charging experience. Tata Tiago EV which was updated recently, comes priced between ₹ 7.99 lakh and ₹ 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The XE MR and XT MR trims come priced at ₹ 7.99 lakh and ₹ 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
