The song will appear on the complete edition of his album I've Tried Everything but Therapy, due June 27. That edition will feature an additional five new tracks, including "Need You More," "Free Drugs," "Small Hands," "Dancing with your Ghost" and "All Gas No Breaks." I've Tried Everything But Therapy Part 1 arrived in 2023, while Part 2 dropped in January 2024. In "God Went Crazy," Swims sings about deep longing and reverence. "Yeah, I'm made for you. I prayed for you. There's a light in your eyes, every color in the sky don't come close to," he sings. "Yeah I'm made for you. I prayed for you. Swear that God went crazy when he painted you." The video shows Swims sitting alone in a room with an orange wall and orange chairs as he sings.

Teddy Swims opened the season at the Stage at Suffolk Downs with a sense of gratitude

Get Starting Point A guide through the most important stories of the morning, delivered Monday through Friday. Enter Email Sign Up While it only reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 for a single week, its longevity helped it become 2024's top-charting single in the US, and last week it broke the record for time spent on America's premier song-consumption chart when it notched week No. 92. Advertisement The success of 'Lose Control,' which appeared on the first half of the 'Therapy' diptych, has slightly overshadowed the strength of Swims' catalog. Part two of 'Therapy,' which came out in January, places his yawp right at its center in appealing ways; on Friday he opened with its opening track, the storming hybrid of Southern and modern rock 'Not Your Man,' then followed it up with the swaggering yet heartbroken 'Hammer to the Heart.' Advertisement Backed by a top-notch band whose musical prowess earned each member a solo, Swims tore through much of his recent catalog, letting the genre-spanning catharsis offered by songs like the shimmering '00s country throwback 'Guilty' and the tormented 'Bad Dreams' flow over and through the crowd. Friday night's show didn't feel as much like a victory lap as it did a gratitude tour. Swims' sweet between-song banter gave the impression that he was still in awe of his recent fortunes; he promised selfies and autographs to those audience members closest to the stage, and he dedicated 'All That Really Matters,' his 2022 collab with the EDM DJ Illennium, to the assembled. 'Lose Control' closed out his main set, and as pyrotechnics went off and the crowd howled along with its battle-cry chorus, Swims took it all in before leading them in it one last time. Kay Jewelers names Teddy Swims chief love officer

Kay Jewelers has named artist and style icon Teddy Swims as the brand's inaugural chief love officer. In this role, Swims will help lead Kay's mission to inspire everyone to 'Love Louder' through bold self-expression, meaningful connection, and personal storytelling. As part of the partnership, he also reimagined the 'Every Kiss Begins with Kay' jingle with his fresh energy and unmistakable vocals. "For more than a century, love has guided everything we do at Kay, and Teddy Swims embodies that same spirit in every song he sings, every style choice he makes, and every connection he shares with his fans,' said Stacee Johnson-Williams, president of Kay Jewelers and Peoples Jewellers. 'His authenticity, creativity, and heart make him the perfect partner to celebrate love and style in all its beautiful, bold forms.' Kay will equally sponsor Swims' 'I've Tried Everything But Therapy' North American tour, with the artist performing in Kay jewelry. His stage wardrobe will include alt-metal chains, diamond-encrusted necklaces and rings designed for layering, and stainless-steel bracelets. Lastly, Swims will introduce a Father's Day Assortment featuring a selected range of meaningful gifts that celebrates fatherhood in all its forms. 'I couldn't be more proud to step into my new role as chief love officer for Kay Jewelers. Kay's been in the game for over 100 years, helping people say 'I love you' without even saying a word. And now we're teaming up!' said Swims. 'We're working on my favorite jewelry pieces for every kind of love: Father's Day, self-love days, and those random Tuesdays when you just want to make someone smile. This ain't just a partnership. This is a love story. And we're just getting started.'
