911 Call Reveals Why Scott Wolf's Wife Was Admitted to Hospital
Kelley Wolf, the estranged wife of Party of Five actor Scott Wolf, was handcuffed Friday after cops received a concerned phone call about her mental health. A female friend of the public speaker reportedly called police Friday to alert them to her 'escalating mental health crisis,' according to audio of the 911 phone call obtained by the Daily Mail. Kelley, who had been staying at the Sundance Resort in Utah since Wednesday, was taken to a hospital shortly after, while documenting the entire ordeal on her Instagram page. 'Last night she threatened to kill herself a couple times,' the person says during the 11-and-a-half minute phone call, per the Daily Mail. 'I'm terrified she's gonna act on it.' 'She's been very skittish, very anti-getting help,' the caller continued. 'I feel like she'll run or flee... I do not think she will cooperate.' Kelley's friend also added that her loved ones had been trying to get her 'help for weeks to months' but 'she gets very upset that people think she's crazy.' 'At times she's hopped on an airplane and left, and other times she's gotten in her car and left,' the friend said. At several points throughout the call, the caller could be heard talking to Kelley's father while trying to discern what to tell police. 'He says she's hysterical, send help,' the caller said, per the Mail. 'If she finds out [about the police] she will run,' she continued, passing on another message from Kelley's father. The Daily Beast has contacted the Utah County Sheriff's Office for comment. Kelley was detained and handcuffed by police at the Sundance Resort three days after revealing that she and her actor husband were splitting up after 21 years of marriage. Her encounter with the police was recorded on her Instagram Live, and later uploaded to her main account, where she could be heard telling cops 'this is shameful' over a black screen. Following the incident, law enforcement said they had taken Kelley to a hospital for her safety. 'Deputies responded to the Sundance Resort for a report of a female that needed some help,' an official told People magazine. 'Upon speaking with the female, our Deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our Deputies.' 'For that reason, our Deputies transported the female to a local hospital,' they concluded. Later in the day, Kelley later shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of what appeared to be her belongings in a hospital room. 'This is horrible,' Kelley wrote. 'I have been taken against my will. Please check on my kids.' 'Also… I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been,' she added. 'I have NO idea why or how this is happening in AMERICA. I am compliant, calm and respectful, and hopefully this is all sorted very quickly. In the meantime, be kind to each other. This is one of the darkest things I've ever experienced.' Kelley announced on Instagram on June 10 that she and Scott were separating after over 20 years of marriage. The pair share three children: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11. 'I am stepping into a chapter of peace, freedom, and protection—with grace,' Kelley wrote in her Instagram announcement. 'May we all remember: healing isn't loud. It's sacred.' EXCLUSIVE 911 audio reveals why Scott Wolf's estranged wife Kelley was hauled off to hospital by police at Utah resort
Scott Wolf's estranged wife was hauled off in handcuffs by police because she had threatened to kill herself at a swank Utah resort, newly-released 911 audio reveals. exclusively obtained the recording of Friday evening's phone call that led to Utah County Sheriff's deputies to haul Kelley Wolf, 48, off to the hospital following a serious 'mental health' incident. The 11 ½-minute call was made by an unidentified female friend who requested assistance at the Sundance Resort, citing concerns over Kelley's 'escalating mental health crisis' that she said had stretched over 'several weeks to months.' 'Last night she threatened to kill herself a couple times,' the panicked friend tells the dispatcher. 'I'm terrified she's gonna act on it.' The caller said Kelley's father had been on the phone with her while she made threats to take her own life, and had been trying to keep her on the line. She also noted that the mom-of-three had become increasingly paranoid and resistant to intervention when they tried to get her help in the past. 'She's been very skittish, very anti-getting help,' the caller said. 'I feel like she'll run or do not think she will cooperate.' 'She gets very upset that people think she's crazy and.... at times she's hopped on an airplane and left, and other times she's gotten in her car and left...' The woman described Kelley as 'blonde, 5ft. 5in, with very blonde hair, short like in a bob'. She also called her 'super-thin'. 'We have been trying to get her to get some help for weeks to months,' the caller said. 'She gets very upset if people thinks she's crazy.' She said there had been multiple 911 calls to the couple's home over recent months. Kelley, who announced her divorce to Party of Five actor husband Scott on June 10, captured the moment she was apprehended by police while filming herself on Instagram Live last Friday. According to the call, she had been staying at the resort, 45 miles away from the family's Park City home, since Wednesday. The caller notes that Kelley was believed to be staying at Sundance with her 11-year-old daughter at some point, but was alone at the time police were called for help. She also informs the dispatcher that there have been 'multiple 911 calls to her house in Summit County over the last month'. At several points, the caller can be heard attempting to coordinate with Kelley's father in real time to provide details to police, even relaying to the dispatcher: 'he says she's hysterical, send help'. Moments later she passes on another message from her father saying: 'if she finds out [about police] she will run.' When asked if Kelley has access to any weapons or firearms, the friend says no, but expressed concern about her mental state and potential use of other means. 'I don't think she does, but she's crafty so maybe...' she says. As the dispatcher confirms that deputies are on the way, the friend informs her of another incident that occurred at the resort's restaurant the previous day. 'She threw herself on the ground and was saying, "He's abusing me",' the caller says, referencing what appeared to be an incident witnessed by resort security and other guests. 'Security got involved, and she threatened to call 911.' Authorities later confirmed that Kelley was taken to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo on Friday, but only vaguely citing her 'concerning comments to a family member'. Neighbors told that Kelley has not been seen at the family home in Park City, since last Sunday, June 8. on Monday also confirmed that a family friend has been helping with the couple's three kids, Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, while Scott had been out of town during his wife's apparent crisis. Days before the police visit, Kelley took to social media to announce the couple's split on June 10, nearly two weeks after what would have been their 21st wedding anniversary. 'It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,' the Real World: New Orleans alumna began. 'This has been a long, quiet journey for me – rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children.' Not too long after, Wolf released a separate statement, revealing he had been the one who filed for divorce, calling it, 'the most difficult decision of my life'. Scott broke cover the first time since the shocking divorce announcement, during an emotional airport reunion with his youngest son on Sunday. The Party of Five star, 57, was seen being picked up by a family friend and son Miller after touching down in Salt Lake City. Exclusive photos showed the heartfelt moment the doting father-of-three became overcome with emotion during the encounter, hugging his son tightly and lifting him off the ground in a full bear hug. New of the couple's split came as a surprise to fans, and it took a bizarre turn three days later, when Kelley, while on Instagram Live, inadvertently captured the moment she was detained by police. Early in the footage of her encounter with police, Kelley could be heard saying: 'Oh my God, this is not happening! Fine, I'll go. I'll go on my own. Please, I'll go on my own!' 'You got that arm?' said one of the deputies, and a noise that sounded like handcuffs being applied was then distinctly audible, as Kelley said: 'Wow. Wow.' She lambasted the officers: 'This is shameful, gentlemen. Look at this. Look at this woman. This is shameful. Be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.' A deputy assured her she was 'not going to jail,' while adding that she 'made some comments to your dad, and comments to people that concern - are concerning.' Kelley claimed: 'I think this is shameful and Scott Wolf has been abusing me and now you're abusing me more.' There is no indication that these allegations are true. It is unclear what Kelley meant by 'abuse.' She later posted an Instagram story of her personal effects laid out in front of her, including a handbag, a Gatorade bottle and a baseball cap. 'This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check in on my kids. Also... I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been,' she wrote. 'I have NO idea why or how this is happening in AMERICA.' Kelley added: 'I am compliant, calm and respectful, and hopefully this is all sorted very quickly. In the meantime, be kind to each other. This is one of the darkest things I've ever experienced.' A press release by local law enforcement said: 'Deputies responded to the Sundance Resort for a report of a female that needed some help. 'Upon speaking with the female, our deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our deputies. For that reason, our deputies transported the female to a local hospital.' A spokesperson for the Utah County Sheriff's Office explained further: 'Typically, when we transport somebody in any of our patrol vehicles, they are placed in properly-fitted hand restraints, just for their protection and our protection as law enforcement as well.' The rep added: 'So that's what happened today: she was placed in hand restraints, placed into a vehicle, and transported by our deputies to a hospital.' The couple is yet to address the incident and specific details of their split, though their marriage appeared to be going strong as of February, when Wolf had gushed about his 'forever Valentine' on social media.

Disturbing update on Scott Wolf's estranged wife Kelley's 'arrest' revealed as shock video surfaces
Eerie new details have emerged about the shock video of Scott Wolf's estranged wife Kelley, who was apprehended by law enforcement on camera Friday - days after she announced her split from her husband following 21 years of marriage. The hair-raising incident was inadvertently captured on Instagram Live, although the screen was black through most of the footage until Kelley's face was briefly seen at the end along with those of two sheriff's deputies. Her voice was clear as she insisted that she would 'go on my own,' before one of the officers was heard asking: 'You got that arm?' followed by what seemed to be the sound of handcuffs clicking shut. A cop assured her she was 'not going to jail,' while adding that she 'made some comments to your dad, and comments to people that concern - are concerning.' Kelley claimed: 'I think this is shameful and Scott Wolf has been abusing me and now you're abusing me more.' There is no indication that these allegations are true. It is unclear what Kelley meant by 'abuse.' Now, the authorities have given their side of the story behind the disturbing footage - and revealed where they took her after she was detained. The detention took place Friday at the Sundance Resort in Sundance, Utah, where Kelley had been staying since Wednesday, according to People. A statement by local law enforcement said: 'Deputies responded to the Sundance Resort for a report of a female that needed some help. Upon speaking with the female, our Deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our Deputies. For that reason, our Deputies transported the female to a local hospital.' A spokesperson for the Utah County Sheriff's Office explained further: 'Typically, when we transport somebody in any of our patrol vehicles, they are placed in properly-fitted hand restraints, just for their protection and our protection as law enforcement as well.' The spokesperson continued: 'So that's what happened today: she was placed in hand restraints, placed into a vehicle, and transported by our deputies to a hospital.' contacted Scott's representatives for comment. Early in the footage, Kelley could be heard saying: 'Oh my God, this is not happening! Be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.' One of the deputies said: 'You're not going to jail,' followed by another sentence that was drowned out as Kelley, a life coach, snapped: 'I know what I'm doing. I've done this. This is my job. Shame on all of you.' 'You've made some comments to your dad, and comments to people that concern - are concerning,' explained one of the officers. Kelley then directed their attention to the fact the exchange was being recorded on her phone, saying: 'You might wanna turn this off. It's on. Would you like to turn it off? You want me to turn it off?' She clarified for the officers that she 'didn't mean to' stream the incident, and one of the policemen offered: 'I can turn it off if you'd like me to,' to which she said: 'Please turn it off. Please.' By the end of the video, Kelley was finally visible, asking the deputies to hand her the phone so that she could switch it off on her own. Kelley later posted an Insta Stories photo of her personal effects laid out in front of her, including a handbag, a Gatorade bottle and a baseball cap. This is one of the darkest things I've ever experienced.' The astonishing episode comes following Scott's statement on the divorce, which he issued after Kelley announced their split in a cryptic Instagram post. On Tuesday, Kelley, 48, shared the emotional update with her followers, writing, 'It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage.' She continued, 'This has been a long, quiet journey for me—rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children.' The couple—who met in 2002 and married two years later—share three children: Jackson, Miller, and Lucy. Just hours after Kelley's post, the Party of Five star, 57, confirmed the news in a statement to People, revealing that he had initiated the split. 'After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,' he said. 'Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.' Both Scott and Kelley have publicly indicated that their focus remains on protecting their family as they move through this new chapter. In her initial Instagram post, Kelley opened up about her emotional state, speaking of 'healing' and embracing 'freedom' as she steps into the future. She also offered a heartfelt tribute to her estranged husband, writing, 'Scott Wolf is one of the best fathers I've ever known and one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with. 'He is kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit.' Though she made clear she wouldn't be discussing the reasons behind the split publicly, Kelley expressed peace with how she's handled the situation. 'While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I've done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion,' she wrote. She added that she and Scott remain committed to raising their children with love and stability. 'We both look forward to an extraordinary life centered around the most extraordinary children. My priority has always been their wellbeing—and my own healing. That will never change.' Kelley ended the emotional message with a request for privacy and a message of quiet strength: 'I am stepping into a chapter of peace, freedom, and protection—with grace. Thank you to the many friends, family, and professionals who have held space for me with love. 'Please respect our privacy during this time. May we all remember: healing isn't loud. It's sacred.' Accompanying her words was an image of a lioness with three eagles flying above. The announcement of the split followed weeks after Kelley shared a cryptic message hinting at feeling 'misunderstood' and a desire to 'tell the truth.' In a poem posted to her followers, she spoke about breaking free from old patterns and expectations to find true freedom. 'I know that may sound bold, but when I read it back, I sat in stillness and wept,' she wrote. 'Because somehow, these words came straight from the center of my heart — clear, fierce, and free.' She encouraged her followers to listen to their inner voice when it's time to change and to hold onto 'love and hope and optimism and beauty,' reminding them, 'It's WORTH IT! YOU ARE WORTH IT!' Kelley acknowledged the challenges she's faced recently but vowed not to be dragged down by negativity. 'I came here to tell the truth. To write with integrity. To live with my whole heart— even when it's misunderstood,' she said. She added that she's never felt more clear, light, or happy, closing with a hopeful note: 'I cannot wait to love and live in a way I didn't even know was possible.' Just one week prior to Tuesday's divorce announcement, Scott and Kelley celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. The couple did not publicly honor the milestone on their respective social media pages. The year prior, Kelley made a concerning revelation while paying tribute to Scott on their 20th wedding anniversary. The reality TV star revealed that she 'almost walked out' the relationship early in their engagement when she noticed Scott starting to 'poke at me, challenge me.' 'The first few times, I wrote it off as stress or the beginnings of getting to know somebody's idiosyncrasies,' Kelley wrote. 'But then, I had this feeling come back to me that I had in the past. It was a feeling that I didn't like, and a feeling, I had worked very hard to process, heal, and make sure I noticed when/if it ever came again. 'It was the feeling of self betrayal. It was the feeling of bending myself in order to accommodate another person even when I knew that I had done nothing wrong.' She said that she previously experienced 'this feeling' in a past 'toxic relationship.' 'My old pattern had returned. I was scrambling to make myself more accommodating, less aggravating, whatever it was that seem to be pushing him away. And then I woke up one morning and said 'wait a minute' I've done this game before and I'm not doing this again,' she wrote. Kelley recalled taking off her engagement ring and handing it to Scott before telling him that she 'will not stick around while somebody tries to excavate fault in me.' 'I turned around and walked towards the door. And like I had done before in my life, I was ready to walk out the door with the girl that I promised to save.' When left with the possibility of losing her forever, Kelley said that Scott stepped up and fought for their relationship. 'But, this love story wasn't over. Scott looked at me, and some thing happened… 'He said, "You are really going to leave. I believe you. I can see it. I can feel it. And there is no chance in hell I am going to let that happen, so let's do this,"' Kelley recalled. '"Let's do this hard part, the uncomfortable part. The part where I have to look in the mirror and see my old pattern where I have tried to find fault in somebody in the hopes that I would prove that nobody can really do the hard stuff and stick around."' 'We all know that our patterns come from the things that have happened to us in life. Scott had never been shown what it looked like when LOVE really showed up.' Kelley said that after that moment she and Scott were 'more bonded, more connected, and more clear about the promise we were about to make to each other.' She said their wedding day was full of 'magic' and 'hope' and that her almost walking out the door 'set the stage for so many things' in their 20-year romance. 'Marriage, friendships, relationships of all kinds are a dance. Never to be a straight line. Never without plot, twists, and highs and lows,' she wrote. 'There is one thing we both learned that day, you have to be willing to love yourself the most to truly love somebody else, the most. And yes, like all amazing love stories, we continue to choose the power of love, over and over,' Kelley concluded. Scott also posted in honor of their 20th wedding anniversary, where he admitted that their marriage had been 'tested these last few years.' 'As blessed as we have been and are, we have surely been tested these last few years. You continue to be the force of light and love and life that makes it all make sense,' he wrote. 'You are the rock of our family, and even when pushed beyond what sometimes even feels possible, you have always found a way to hold on to who you truly are, and who and what you love the most.' He also gushed about their 'three beautiful children, several generations of fur babies, and what feels like a lifetime of adventures and experiences together.' Scott concluded his heartfelt tribute by expressing hope that his and Kelley's 'lights continue to shine together forever.' Kelley last posted Scott on her Instagram in July 2024 during a couples trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. Meanwhile, Kelley last appeared on Scott's Instagram in February as he called her and their daughter Lucy his 'forever Valentines.'

The ultimate Utah bucket list: 10 experiences you can't miss
To consider yourself a true Utahn, there are certain things you need to learn about firsthand. In addition to trying fry sauce — that's a given. Complete all 10 of our Utah bucket list items and earn yourself the honorary title of Queen (or King) Bee of the Beehive State. Even if you aren't an outdoors enthusiast, you'll miss out on the best of Utah if you skip our national parks. Whether it's a scouting trip to Delicate Arch in Arches or getting sand in your shorts while hiking the Narrows at Zion, Utah offers unparalleled natural wonders. And you can get there within a few hours' drive of most of Utah, so you don't have any excuses. Still haven't made it to Cedar City for the Utah Shakespeare Festival? That's probably because you're thinking it's all stuffy, 17th-century dialogue and puffy knee shorts. While you can certainly see some of that, the annual summer-to-fall theater season also includes 20th-century plays and modern interpretations of the Bard's classics. It may be shrinking, but you'd still be hard pressed to find anything as big, or as briny, as Utah's Great Salt Lake. At 75 miles long and 35 miles wide, the salty oasis in our western desert covers about 1,600 square miles. While you can easily float in it — the salinity is about 12% — we highly recommend keeping your mouth firmly shut. Powder day? Groomer day? Even if you haven't lived in Utah your entire life, you know skiing becomes a bit of an obsession during the winter months. And who can blame us? The mountains are practically calling you out of English class. Are the slopes that are popular among the rich and famous, and several Olympians, better than the rest? You be the judge. Once fall arrives, this narrow, curvy, 20-mile drive takes you through some of the most brilliant color along the Wasatch Range. As it winds through American Fork and Provo canyons, you'll pass Timpanogos Cave National Monument and Sundance Resort. Open the windows and let in the crisp air. Hand surfing is optional. A Grammy-winning choir. Bronze statues galore — and one covered in gold leaf! Oh, and a 210-foot-tall neo-Gothic temple. Head to Temple Square to join thousands of other Utah families and youth church groups as an annual Christmas activity. Go during the other 11 months of the year to enjoy beautiful flowers, and maybe learn why the seagull is the state bird. Utah's largest amusement park is the home of some serious thrill rides. First, there was the clacking, wooden Roller Coaster. Next came Colossus, speeding you through dual loops at 55 mph. And then, the Cannibal, where you experience 4.2 g-forces as you travel over 2,735 feet of track at 70 mph. Did you just black out? Maybe. When you see the brown tower standing starkly against the blue sky, you'll know you've arrived. Of all the things to do in Utah during the summer, the hardest may be deciding which shop serves the best raspberry shake at Bear Lake. The easiest? Deciding you need a return visit to be sure you voted correctly. Grab a spoon and head to the beach. It's sunny out there. Held every spring at the Sri Sri Radha Krishan Temple in Spanish Fork, participants throw colored powder and water on each other as a symbol of good overcoming evil. Remember the clouds of powder when you pounded out school chalkboard erasers? Yeah, it's kinda like that. For those less inclined to getting dusty, there's also interactive dance, yoga, bands and food. Who needs regenerated dinosaurs from a certain fictional movie when you can see actual bones? At Dinosaur National Monument, about 13 miles southwest of Vernal, there's a wall with about 1,500 dinosaur bones on display. You can even touch some of the 150-million-year-old fossils. And it's much safer than riding around in a clear ball. So, are you a true Utahn? If you haven't experienced our full Utah bucket list yet, it's time to get busy. You know, like a bee. What else is a must-do? Share your favorite things to do in Utah in the comments below.
