Many people are fond of watching horror films and suspense-thriller films. These films, full of fear and suspense, entertain people a lot. Nowadays, many horror films have come from OTT to the big screen, but in the 90s, such films were also made, which people still remember. We are going to tell you about a 30-year-old film that made even the best of people feel scared. This film is much scarier than 'Stree 2' and 'Munjya'. This 30 year old film will give you nightmares Here we are talking about the film 'House Number 13' released in the 90s, i.e., 1991, an old Hindi horror film. This film was directed by Baby (AG Baby), and it was a Hindi remake of the Tamil film 'Pathimunam Number Veedu'. G. Adisheshagiri Rao produced the film, and it was made in the style of South Indian cinema. In that era, the trend of horror films was increasing rapidly, and this film is considered an important link of that era. It was shot in outdoor locations. Scarier than Tumbbad, Stree 2, Munjya The story of the film revolves around a family that returns to their old ancestral home. As soon as Sudhir, his wife Shanti and daughter Aarti, along with his grandfather, brother, and mother, start living in the house, strange and scary incidents start happening with them. Some force starts troubling the family, which wants to take revenge for its past. In the film, scenes like hair coming out of the Mona Lisa painting and a clown doll scared the audience a lot in that era, which is fun to watch even today. Many experienced actors of that era were seen in this film, among whom Salim Fateh played the role of Sudhir, who faces mysterious incidents. Baby Vijaya played the role of a spirit, which was the most frightening and important role in the film. Rita Bhaduri, Anil Dhawan, and Sharat Saxena also played their roles well. The audience liked the acting of Salim and Baby Vijaya, but some romantic parts of the film were not liked by the people. During that time, the budget of this film was around 50-60 lakhs, which was common for horror films of that time. It earned around Rs 1-1.5 crore at the box office and was included in the list of hit films of that time. It has a rating of 6.1/10 on IMDb. Its scary scenes and practical effects were highly praised, while some viewers found the long songs and romantic parts weak. This film can still be watched for free on YouTube and MX Player.

UP: Three sentenced to life in jail for murder of SP polling agent during 2022 polls

A court in Shahjahanpur has sentenced three men to life imprisonment for the murder of a youth after he allegedly tried to stop a group of people from casting votes during the 2022 Assembly election in Tilhar, suspecting bogus voting. The victim, Sudhir, was a polling agent of the Samajwadi Party. 'The court sentenced all three accused—Rakesh Singh, Rajeshwar Singh, and Vishesh Yadav—to life imprisonment in the murder case of Sudhir,' said Government Counsel (Shahjahanpur) Rajeev Awasthi, adding nine prosecution witnesses were examined during the trial. The three – all residents of Chakora village in Nigohi — were convicted under IPC section 302 (murder) and 304 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention). Roshan Lal Verma, who was Samajwadi Party's candidate from Tilhar Assembly seat, said: 'Sudhir was my polling agent and killed by men associated with the BJP.' The BJP denied having any association with the convicts. 'I have heard about the case and the convicts have no association with the party and never been any office-bearers,' said BJP's Shahjahanpur district president Krishna Chandra Mishra. He added that Sudhir did not hold any party post in the Samajwadi Party. Following the verdict, Rakesh and Vishesh, who were out on bail, were taken into custody. Rajeshwar Singh had been in jail since his arrest. According to the public prosecutor, Sudhir's father had lodged a police complaint alleging that his son was attacked and killed by assailants on the morning of February 15, 2022. He alleged that the attack was the result of a dispute that took place a day earlier when Sudhir—who was serving as a polling agent for the Samajwadi Party—had a heated argument with three youths after stopping them from casting bogus votes.

According to an official statement, the operation began with the arrest of 20-year-old Vikas, from whom 28 boxes of capsules containing Dicyclomine HCI and Tramadol HCI (totalling 336 grams and 6,720 capsules) were recovered. Another accused, Sudhir (43), a medical store owner, was arrested following a raid in the presence of Sanjay Kumar, Drug Inspector from the Department of Drug Control, Delhi. During the search, officials recovered 505 Alprazolam (0.5 mg) tablets and 664 Tramadol (50 mg) capsules from Sudhir's medical store. 'As part of these ongoing efforts, sustained attempts were made to apprehend the source of the contraband, namely Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj, a key figure and mastermind in the pharmaceutical trafficking & his other accomplices,' the statement said. According to the police, the accused persons are partners in the medical store, with Vikas procuring medicines on March 8 from the house of Sunil, adding, 'A raid was conducted at the instance of the accused at the address of Sunil who was found absconding and NBW was issued against him by the Court on April 1, who was then arrested on April 5. 'He disclosed that he has been working with the accused Sudhir for 6-7 years. Both the medical stores are being run by them in partnership,' the statement read. The accused, Sunil, disclosed that the recovered contraband was purchased from one Jeetu during the investigation on April 7, at the instance of the accused. A raid was conducted at the house of the source/accused Ajeet in Sangam Vihar, Delhi, but he was not found there with his phone switched off. In the presence of police staff and family members, two white plastic sacks containing 18000 tablets of tramadol (1.8 Kg) & 7400 tablets of Nitrazepam Tablets IP 10 mg (Elza-10) were recovered from Ajeet's ground-floor room.
