‘Street Fighter' And Sushiro Sets Food Skirmish In First Singapore Collaboration
Following a first-ever Monster Hunter X Sushiro collaboration in Singapore, Capcom is back with another culinary knockout — this time featuring its arguably best-known flagship franchise: Street Fighter . The latest tie-in comes as Street Fighter 6 celebrates its second anniversary, treating fans to a limited-time menu and exclusive merchandise starting 18 June. The fight will come to all outlets islandwide, with Suntec City and Perennial Business City transformed into a themed space comprising in-game visuals, photo spots, and in-store experiences. Three special dishes are available for order during the event, each served with a free character food pick illustrated in a 16-bit pixel art style, adding up to a total of 34 random designs. Here's what to expect from the new (if temporary) additions: Giant Cut Fresh Salmon in Yuzu Soy (S$4.50) Shiokoji Scallop with Salmon Roe (S$4.50) Almond Pudding with Strawberry Sauce (S$3.50) Those who spend a minimum of S$20 in a single receipt are eligible to purchase up to three merchandise items per receipt, which feature a different set of characters across two waves. Wave 1, running from 18 June to 8 July, shines the spotlight on Ryu, Jun and Chun-Li, and Cammy and E. Honda as keychains, joining character plushies of Cammy, Akuma, and Ed. The second wave, spanning 9 to 31 July, includes Blanka and Lily, Dee Jay and Kimberly, and Sakura and Dan as part of the keychain lineup. The keychains are available at an additional S$8.90 each, while the character plushies retail for S$15.90. A third exclusive offering, the Street Fighter Canvas Bag, depicts a beefed-up Sushiro mascot standing proudly at the front alongside the game's characters and can be purchased at S$14.90. Released on 2 June 2023, Street Fighter 6 is the seventh and latest mainline entry in the beloved franchise, offering three overarching game modes, three control options, and a real-time commentary system that provides a tournament-style feel and the option to cheer on the player. It has sold over five million units to date, with total sales for the series coming in at 56 million units worldwide as of last December. The Street Fighter X Sushiro collaboration brings the fists and feast to Singapore from 18 June to 31 July. The Nintendo Switch 2 is hard to find, but our expert restock tips will help
The Nintendo Switch 2 is already sold out just about everywhere, which means you're probably on the hunt for the next big restock. Fortunately, we've played this game before (remember when the PS5 was near-impossible to find?) and are here to make sure you're in the best position possible to snag the hottest new system of 2025 as soon as it's available. We don't blame you for being antsy to bring one home. The Switch 2 is one of the best consoles we've gotten our hands on, with improved specs that include more storage, better controls in handheld mode and smooth 4K gameplay once you connect to a TV. It's an iterative upgrade, but one that pumps out a much nicer gaming experience. If you missed your opportunity to score a Nintendo Switch 2 preorder and are looking to speed past your friends in Mario Kart World or beat them up in Street Fighter 6 as soon as humanly possible, follow this handy guide that we've put together from years of experience tracking down elusive tech. Nintendo Switch 2 The Nintendo Switch 2 improves on the company's beloved hybrid console with smooth 4K gameplay, better online functionality and some great new games like Mario Kart World. Read our review As of this writing, the Nintendo Switch 2 is officially sold at most major retailers like Walmart, Target, Best Buy and GameStop (curiously, the system has yet to show up on Amazon in the U.S.). If you're feeling impatient, resellers on sites like eBay and StockX are selling the console, though you'll have to shop at your own risk — and pay a pretty significant markup. Here are links to every big store selling the Switch 2 for your bookmarking needs, as well as some specific quirks you should know about each shop. Walmart Walmart has listings for both the $450 Nintendo Switch 2 and the $500 Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. Be careful when shopping here, however — Walmart features third-party sellers alongside official listings on its site, which means that you may suddenly end up on a page selling the system for upwards of $800 or more. Walmart has done exclusive console drops for those subscribed to its paid Walmart+ service in the past, though it's unclear whether the retailer will do the same for the Switch 2. Target Like other stores, Target has pages for both the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Mario Kart World bundle, and is usually sold out of both. However, if you're signed into your Target account, you can click 'notify me when it's back' to get an email alert when the console is available. GameStop According to GameStop's website, the popular gaming retailer is selling the Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World Bundle exclusively at its physical stores. You can click the 'Find a Store' button on each respective page to see if it's at your location. The site also lists a pricey $625 bundle that throws in a Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip, a Joy-Con 2 Wheel set and a 256GB microSD express card. It's currently out of stock, but GameStop did a lot of these custom bundles during the PS5 days, and they generally stayed available longer than the base consoles. Best Buy Best Buy lists both the Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World on its website, but as of our last check, the system is showing as only available in-store. As such, your best bet might be to just head to your nearest location and ask if stock is available. Staples Staples currently lists the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle on its site, for both delivery and one-hour pickup. It's currently showing as unavailable for both for me, but your mileage may vary based on your location. For what it's worth, some users on Reddit reported having an easy time buying one in-person there. Costco Wholesale retailer Costco currently offers a $525 version of the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle that's exclusive to Costco members. Its status is currently listed as out of stock, but your mileage may vary in person. Nintendo What about going straight to the source? Nintendo offered a preorder queue system for registered users that have logged at least 100 hours on their Switch, though that program seems to have ended. The company's website now simply directs you to other retailers. If you're lucky enough to live near a Nintendo Store — like the ones in New York City and San Francisco — you can always try your luck there. Make sure your shopping accounts are set up The last thing you want to do is miss an elusive restock because you were scrambling to create an account and find your credit card. As such, make sure you have an account at your preferred retailers (if not all of the ones we've listed above), stay signed in and have a payment method set up in advance. Some retailers, such as Target, allow you to sign up for alerts to be notified once the system is back in stock, which we recommend doing. Follow trusted stock trackers Fortunately for aspiring Switch 2 owners, there are plenty of folks working tirelessly around the clock to find you a console. Folks like Wario64, CheapAssGamer and The Shortcut are all resources we've followed and used for years, and often provide up-to-the-minute updates on when the next big restock is happening. If you're on X, we recommend giving them a follow and turning on Tweet notifications so you don't miss a big drop. Consider a membership for future access Back when the PS5 and Xbox Series X were more scarce, select retailers would offer exclusive drops for those subscribed to their premium memberships including Walmart+, My Best Buy Total and Amazon Prime. GameStop PowerUp Pro members have also gotten early dibs on in-store restocks. We don't have confirmation that these stores will do the same for the Nintendo Switch 2, but if you are already subscribed to one of these services, keep in mind that you may eventually be rewarded with an early leg up on availability. Fortunately, most of Nintendo's Switch 2 accessories are far more readily available than the console itself, though some items are easier to find than others. Here are some of the official add-ons you can buy right now. Nintendo Switch 2 Camera This camera will let you video chat with your friends in GameChat and even put yourself in select games via the system's CameraPlay feature. Just about any USB webcam will work with your Switch 2, though Nintendo's version does include a handy base that sits well in entertainment centers and on tables. Nintendo Joy-Con 2 If you want a spare pair of Joy-Cons handy for your next big Mario Kart tournament, get ready to pay up. The latest versions of Nintendo's iconic detachable controllers don't come cheap, though their larger design does make them more ideal for when you split them off and use each one as its own controller. You can even use them in mouse mode to play Fortnite like a pro. Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Another pricey but well-made accessory, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller improves on the original with a lighter, more comfortable design and programmable back buttons that can be very handy in certain competitive games. Nintendo Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip A step up from the Joy-Con 2 Grip you get out of the box, this charging grip can keep your Joy-Con juiced up and also gets you the same extra GL and GR buttons found on the new Pro Controller. Nintendo Joy-Con 2 Wheel (Set of 2) If you want your Mario Kart World or Ridge Racer sessions to feel a bit more like driving an actual car, this wheel attachment for your Joy-Cons will do the trick. Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case and Screen Protector Nintendo's official Carrying Case features a soft outer shell, room for a handful of Game Cards, a cleaning cloth and a screen protector for keeping your display safe from scratches and nicks. Nintendo Switch 2 All-in-One Carrying Case For folks that want to take their entire Switch 2 setup on the road — TV dock and all — this all-in-one carrying case will let you do just that. Its generous dimensions leave room for your console, dock, Joy-Cons, a Pro Controller and up to six Game Cards. Is the Nintendo Switch 2 available for purchase on Amazon? Is the Nintendo Switch 2 available for purchase on Amazon? As of this writing, the Nintendo Switch 2 is conspicuously absent from Amazon in the U.S., though most third-party games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Sonic X Shadow Generations are available at the retailer. Are Nintendo Switch 2 accessories in stock? Are Nintendo Switch 2 accessories in stock? As of our last check, most Switch 2 accessories — including the Pro Controller, Switch 2 camera and additional Joy-Con 2 controllers — are still in stock at most retailers. See above for a full list of available add-ons. Is it better to shop online or in-store to get a Nintendo Switch 2 faster? Is it better to shop online or in-store to get a Nintendo Switch 2 faster? This really depends on where you live (as well as some plain old luck), but based on the many Reddit threads and Instagram posts we've trawled, anecdotal evidence would suggest that it's a bit easier to score a Nintendo Switch 2 by simply heading to your local retailer. That said, it never hurts to have your shopping accounts ready at the big retailers in the event that an online restock pops up. CNN Underscored has a team of writers and editors who have many years of experience testing, researching and recommending products, and they ensure each article is carefully edited and products are properly vetted. Senior tech editor Mike Andronico has been covering gaming for more than a decade, and has been doing tested reviews of Nintendo consoles since the Nintendo 3DS (which is still in his top five). He's been playing Mario Kart World and Street Fighter 6 pretty obsessively, and wants to help you get your own Nintendo Switch 2 so you can do the same.
