The addition of Chicken Crispy Strips to Taco Bell's menu comes as an apparent fast-food 'wrap' battle is ensuing with chicken strips elsewhere. After years of begging and waiting, McDonald's confirmed that the Snack Wrap will return to restaurants nationwide permanently beginning July 10. 5 The items will be available on menus for a limited time only. The chain is also offering two Crispy Chicken Strips for the price of $3.99, not to be confused with its Crispy Chicken Nuggets, which debuted last December and returned in April. What are the Spicy Ranchero and Avocado Ranch sauces? Taco Bell's new Spicy Ranchero Sauce fuses Anaheim and jalapeño chiles with tomatoes, garlic, and onion. The chain described its creamy Avocado Ranch Sauce as a "zesty ranch with a hint of avocado." Both sauces are priced at 60 cents when purchased on their own, or just 30 cents when added to any menu item, according to Taco Bell. Taco Bell joins 2025 chicken wrap battle The addition of the Crispy Chicken Tacos and Burritos to Taco Bell's menu comes as various chains compete in what appears to be a fast food chicken wrap battle. McDonald's is permanently bringing back its fan-favorite Snack Wrap on Thursday, July 10, nationwide, the company confirmed to USA TODAY on June 3. Popeyes, however, announced on June 2 that it will be adding Chicken Wraps to its menu for a limited time. Popeyes appeared to throw shade at McDonald's on May 30, responding to an April 15 McDonald's X post hinting at the Snack Wrap's comeback. McDonald's post from April 15 read: "snack wraps 0x.14.2025," hinting that the menu item would return on the 14th day of an unidentified month in 2025. Before McDonald's serves up Snack Wraps to the masses, it's time for dessert. The new McFlurry flavor, inspired by a summer campfire treat, is officially available for purchase at participating McDonald's restaurants nationwide beginning Tuesday, June 10. FYI: The "dessert of the season" is a limited time offering. "Whether you're looking to grab a sweet snack before lounging around the campfire or looking to satisfy your summer craving, the Hershey's S'mores McFlurry will be your go-to summer dessert," McDonald's announced on its website. "And while you're at it, grab one for a friend – you know what they say, the 's'more' the merrier!" McDonald's classic vanilla soft serve is blended with pieces of Hershey's Milk Chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows, to create a chilly version of the campfire-cooked snack. The regular size McFlurry weighs in with a total of 460 calories; the mini size at 280 calories. The Hershey's S'mores McFlurry was available on the McDonald's app for some customers and at restaurants in Canada, Nation's Restaurant News reported. Another McFlurry available in Canada but not yet announced to hit the U.S. is the Birthday Cake McFlurry. This is just the latest McDonald's and Hershey's McFlurry mashup. In April, the Hershey's Chocolate Chip Frappe was available in select markets, Food and Wine reported.

Fans of McDonald's McFlurrys can soon stick their spoons in a new summertime treat. The Hershey's S'mores McFlurry arrives Tuesday, June 10, at participating McDonald's restaurants nationwide, according to the Chicago-based burger chain. 'It's time to gather around the campfire because summer just got sweeter,' McDonald's said in a release. The hand-spun treat combines vanilla soft serve with Hershey's milk chocolate, graham cracker crumbles and marshmallows, according to a product description. Pricing information wasn't immediately available. It marks the newest item to join McDonald's menu and comes nearly a week after the restaurant teased the return of its beloved snack wrap, set to launch July 10. The single-serve wraps were discontinued at U.S. restaurants in 2016 but remained on menus in Canada and abroad. 'Fans never gave up on the Snack Wrap, inspiring the ultimate comeback,' McDonald's said on its website. Customers can grab a s'mores McFlurry, snack wrap and other menu favorites this summer as the burger giant offers extended late-night hours. Much of the menu will be available, though offerings will depend on individual franchisees, Nation's Restaurant News reported.
