Slovenia Restarts Search Process for New Central-Bank Governor
The latest candidate to lead Slovenia's central bank will try to win over the country's ruling parties this week in a bid to fill a role that's been vacant for almost five months.
President Natasa Pirc Musar, whose strained relationship with Prime Minister Robert Golob has so far delayed the appointment process, is backing Simon Savsek — a former European Central Bank analyst who currently heads the European Investment Bank 's office in Ljubljana.
