No. 80 Who's wearing it now: TE Ian Thomas This eighth year veteran has spent his entire career up to this point with the Carolina Panthers. He joins the Raiders as a solid number three tight end option behind Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer. He's a solid 6-4, 260 pounds with some decent hands but even better blocking and special teams abilities. Who wore it best: WR Jerry Rice The GOAT joined the Raiders in 2001 at the age of 39. In his second season with the team, at the age of 40, he put up over 1200 yards receiving (1211), made his 13th career Pro Bowl and the Raiders were in the Super Bowl. In 54 games over four seasons in Oakland, Rice put up 243 catches for 3286 yards and 18 touchdowns. Honorable Mention: TE Zach Miller Miller was a second round pick by the Raiders in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played four seasons for the Raiders, making one Pro Bowl. He may have had more success except he joined the Raiders during some very bad years. This included two years of JaMarcus Russell and three years in which they couldn't get more than five wins in a season.

No. 81 Who's wearing it now: WR Alex Bachman Bachman has been trying to find a role in an NFL offense for the past five years. He spent his first couple years in the league with the New York Giants, appearing in four games, but seeing no targets. He then bounced around offseason rosters and practice squads for a couple years before reappearing last season for the Raiders where he was elevated to the active roster in week four and got his first career catches in week six. In total he caught three passes in the team's game against the Steelers. Who wore it best: WR Tim Brown One of the greatest receivers in Raiders history. Nicknamed "Mr Raider", he had held the Raiders single-season receptions record for 23 years from 1997 to 2020. He still holds the record for most seasons leading the Raiders in receptions (11) and yards (10) and touchdowns (10). most career receptions (1070) and yards (14,734), 1000-yard seasons (nine), 100-yard games (43), and TD receptions (99). All of this despite beginning his career a primarily a return specialist and not becoming a full time starting wide receiver until his fifth season. Brown was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.

No. 82 Who's wearing it now: WR Zakhari Franklin Franklin is an undrafted rookie. The 6-1, 185-pound receiver spent his first four college football seasons at UT San Antonio, putting up big numbers including 3348 yards and 37 touchdowns. This included 1136 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior. Rather than declare for the NFL Draft, he opted to transfer to Ole Miss, but was lost to injury in his fourth game, prompting him to transfer to Illinois to try and get back on the NFL's radar. His 652 yards and four touchdowns helped, but wasn't enough to get him drafted. Who wore it best: WR James Jett A man who had a very appropriate last name, James Jett was one of the fastest humans alive. He signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 1993 and burst onto the scene, averaging 23.4 yards per catch as a rookie. Al Davis loved speed, and had visions of Jett being the Cliff Branch to Tim Brown's Fred Biletnikoff in the Raiders offense throughout the 90s. Jett would and spent ten years in Silver & Black, recording 4417 yards and 30 touchdowns. He never played a single down for any other team.

No. 83 Who's wearing it now: WR Key'Shawn Smith Smith is an undrafted rookie out of SMU. The 5-11, 187-pound receiver started his college career at Miami before transferring to SMU after his junior season. He saw his numbers go up each of the past three seasons, culminating in 33 catches for 527 yards and five touchdowns as a fifth-year senior. Who wore it best: OLB Ted Hendricks The Mad Stork spent the final nine years of his 15-year NFL career in Silver & Black. Probably not coincidentally, the Raiders won all three Super Bowls in his time with the team. Two of those years he was named a first team All Pro. In his career, he earned four Super Bowl rings, was a four-time All Pro, eight-time Pro Bowler, and was a member of BOTH the All-70s and All-80s Hall of Fame teams.

No. 84 Who's wearing it now: TE Qadir Ismail Ismail was signed this offseason. Receiving is in his blood as his father is former NFL wide receiver Qadry Ismail and his uncle is former Raiders WR/KR Raghib "Rocket" Ismail. Along with his hands being in his bloodlines, he stands at a towering 6-6. He showed up well in minicamp and could either sneak onto the roster or earn a spot on the practice squad. Who wore it best: WR Art Powell Back when reaching 1000 yards was a very big deal, Powell was flying by that mark every season. He played DB as a rookie in 1959. Upon switching to receiver, Powell immediately was named a first team All Pro. All told, he spent 10 years in the NFL, joining the Raiders in 1963. In his four years in Oakland, he made the Pro Bowl every season, had double digit touchdowns every season, went over 1000 yards three of them and over 1300 yards 14 games per season. Just an absolutely dominant player.
