New Delhi: At the grand premiere of Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par yesterday, Salman Khan's bodyguard mistook Junaid Khan as a fan. Aamir Khan's son, Junaid, was escorting Salman Khan to the venue. Not recognising him, Salman Khan's bodyguard stopped the Loveyapa actor from approaching the Sikandar actor. What's Happening Salman Khan was seen attending the premiere of Aamir Khan's latest release Sitaare Zameen Par, last evening. In a video that has now gone viral online, Salman Khan's bodyguard was seen stopping Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan from escorting the 59-year-old actor. The bodyguard had failed to recognise Junaid Khan as Aamir Khan's son. Sitaare Zameen Par Premiere It was a star-studded affair at the Sitaare Zameen Par screening last evening. Other than Salman Khan, there were several other stars who were in attendance to support Aamir Khan's latest release. Shah Rukh Khan, Rekha, Vicky Kaushal, Shabana Azmi, and Javed Akhtar were also seen gracing the event. Aamir Khan''s girlfriend Gauri Spratt was present too, she walked in hand-in-hand with Aamir Khan at the venue. About Sitaare Zameen Par The film is directed by RS Prasanna and is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The film stars 10 debutants Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Genelia Deshmukh is the female lead. The plot of the film revolves around a frustrated basketball coach played by Aamir Khan, who serves community service by training a group of neurodivergent adults. His negative outlook towards life soon begins to transform when he starts learning from his players and navigating life's hurdles. In A Nutshell Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan was mistaken as a fan at the Sitaare Zameen Par premiere last night by Salman Khan's bodyguard. He was stopped from approaching the Dabangg actor, however, Junaid Khan kept his cool and handled the situation calmly.

Superstar Salman Khan, who has been in the news for getting death threats, faced a scare at the premiere of Aamir Khan's film Sitaare Zameen Par in Mumbai when a man tried to come too close to him. He arrived at the venue with heavy security. Several videos of Salman posing on the red carpet with Aamir Khan and engaging in playful banter with photographers have surfaced online. However, one video from the premiere, which is gaining significant traction on social media, shows a concerning moment when Salman faced a security threat at the event. In the video, Salman is seen exiting the venue when a man attempts to approach him and get close to the actor, sparking a security response. Noticing the man getting too close, Salman's bodyguards quickly sprang into action and whisked him away. Meanwhile, Salman tried to keep him calm and looked the other way. A post shared by Bollywood Society (@bollywoodsocietyy) Concerns around Salman's security escalated in 2018 when gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened to kill him during a court appearance in Jodhpur over the actor's involvement in the infamous 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Since then, Salman has faced multiple threats. In April 2024, two shooters, allegedly from the Bishnoi gang, fired gunshots outside his Bandra residence before being arrested. After this, his security was enhanced with bulletproof glass protecting his balcony and CCTV cameras keeping watch on the road outside. Two months later, Navi Mumbai Police claimed to have discovered a plot to kill the actor when he travelled to his farmhouse at Panvel near Mumbai. Security around the actor was further tightened following the murder of politician Baba Siddiqui, who was known to be a close friend of Salman, in October 2024. Since then, he has faced multiple threats. Salman was last seen opposite Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar. Directed by A R Murugadoss, it was released in theatres on March 30. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film failed to elicit the expected response, earning a below-average ₹177 crore worldwide. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna.

In an interview with Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna expressed how his favorite character from Kuberaa is Rashmika Mandanna's, Sameera. Highlighting how he only had 2-3 scenes with her while filming, seeing her performance during the dubbing session left him spellbound. Hearing the veteran star's kind words, the actress penned a short note on her social media handle. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Rashmika said, 'This is everything I work for.. The much-awaited Telugu-Tamil bilingual film is musically crafted by Devi Sri Prasad. Moreover, Niketh Bommireddy and Karthika Srinivas are handling the cinematography and editing, respectively. On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in a lead role in Salman Khan's Sikandar. The AR Murugadoss directorial features a widower and the crowned prince of Rajkot, being motivated by his late wife's death to help three strangers who received her vital organs.
