11 Days Here And Now Home: Dipika Kakar Shares Health Update; Meets Her Son After A Long Time
New Delhi: Television Actor Dipika Kakar has shared her first health update after undergoing 14-hour surgery for stage 2 liver cancer. The 'Bigg Boss Season 12' winner, in her Instagram post, confirmed that she is now 'Free from the tumour' and that she will 'sail through' the rest of treatment confidently. She captioned, "11 Days of being here and now home… Free from the tumour… but this is one part of the treatment done… remaining will follow in the coming time… and mujhe yakeen hai I will sail through that too as i said before. Ye 11 din mushkil the but because of the amazing ppl we had around… things went smooth… there was suffering but it was all handled with a lot of warmth by everyone at the #kokilabenhospital." In the series of pictures showcased, she thanked the doctors, 'sisters, staff and all the Female Helping Staff' who gave her 'love & care' that she can 'recover and get back home'. She wrote, "To start with Dr Somnath Chatopadhyay & his team Dr Kanchan, Dr Neha, Dr Sanket, Dr Manek & Dr Kavita.. not only are they exceptional Doctors but even great human beings! achi treatment… jab itne pyaar aur empathy ke saath ki jaaye to patient ki recovery fast bhi ho jaati hai and bahut himmat milti hai… Also all the sisters, staff who attented to me Dr Sharmeela( anaesthetist) , Dr Bushra (ICU Dr), Sister Akshara , Nupur, Pragati & Shasheeka( ICU sisters) , Sister Anupama, Ashna & Sister Jijin (ward sisters), and all the Female Helping Staff I will be grateful to u all for life… its because of your love & care that I am able to recover and get back home…" She concluded by thanking her fans, grateful she wrote, "And my biggest strength has been the love , prayers & blessings that u all have showered on me…. In the vlog, Dipika was seen leaving the hospital and meeting her son after a long time. "She got discharged after 11 days and has come for a check-up," Shoaib added. Admitting the difficult time they had he continued, "The past few days have been incredibly difficult for me and my family, but we are thankful for everyone's prayers and support." Dipika married Shoaib Ibrahim, her co-star from Sasural Simar Ka on February 22, 2018 in Bhopal. The couple was blessed with a son named Ruhaan, who was born in 2023.

In an emotional conversation with fans, the actress also opened up about the tough phase, showcasing her strength and gratitude. In a heartwarming video, Shoaib shared glimpses of his son Ruhaan's life during his and Dipika's absence, showcasing the family's love and support. As they care for Ruhaan, Shoaib mentioned how the little one is being spoiled by his grandmothers and enjoying quality time with his aunt Saba's newborn. The actor further noted that the surgery had made her more emotional. To which Dipika jokingly replied, 'I was already emotional, now it's even more!" Television actress Dipika Kakar, who is diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer, recently underwent a 14-hour-long surgery. Now, Dipika has made her first appearance on camera with her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, after getting her tumor removed. Dipika shared her health update and also spoke about how the cough has been straining stitches. Shoaib Ibrahim, who has been sharing updates about her health, recently released a new Vlog on his YouTube channel. In their Vlog, Dipika Kakar went emotional and said, "Bas iss waqt itna hi bolungi — aap logon ne bohot duaein ki hain, uske liye dil se thank you (I am extremely thankful to you all for keeping me in your prayers and thoughts.)" She added, "Hospital mein bhi staff, nurses, alag-alag jagahon se aake bol rahe the, 'Ma'am, aap theek ho jaoge.' Dusre patients ke relatives bhi bol rahe the, 'Hum aapke liye pray kar rahe the.' The actor also expressed gratitude after the surgery went well. He added that the last 7-8 days were heavy ever since they received the news of her liver cancer. Talking about the surgery, Shoaib shared that the gall bladder, which had a stone and a small part of the liver, was removed. Dipika Kakar announced her liver cancer diagnosis on Instagram last month. The actress revealed that she has a tennis ball-sized tumour in the liver and that it is in the second stage.

New Delhi: Actress Dipika Kakar, who recently underwent a 14-hour-long surgery for her stage 2 liver cancer, made an appearance on husband Shoaib Ibrahim's latest YouTube vlog. Dipika shared her health update with fans, thanking them for remembering her in their prayers. In the video, Dipika said, 'I am extremely thankful to you all for keeping me in your prayers and thoughts. The nurses were also extremely kind and positive. Several others, family members of other patients were so nice and kind to me. I am feeling much much better." She added, "I am feeling much much better. I was suffering when I got cough. Every time I coughed, it hurt the stitches. I don't think I can talk more. I will speak when I recover and feel better.' In the video, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika is recovering well. He said, "She is recovering well. She has some pain and in between she developed cough, which hurt her stitches. But, now she is doing better. After the surgery, she finally slept in peacefully last night. She was in the ICU for the three days, and she was panicking the whole time. The tubes in her nose scared her.' "I was not allowing any of my family members to visit Dipika as there are chances of infection. I will have to take extra care at home one she is discharged from the hospital as there will be some scope of getting infections," Shoaib added. Calling the entire episode 'difficult', the actor admitted that the past few days had been rough for him and his family. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to his loved ones, friends, and house help for their unwavering support. He also requested fans to pray for Dipika's health, as she still has a long way to go in her recovery. The vlog also showed Dipika meeting her mother-in-law for the first time after her surgery.

Actor Shoaib Ibrahim gave an update about his wife Dipika Kakar's health after she underwent a 14-hour-long surgery for her stage two liver cancer. In a social media post, Ibrahim said that Kakar is in the ICU and experiencing "some pain".Shoaib Ibrahim apologised to the fans for not being able to inform them about the surgery on Tuesday, June 3. "Hi everyone, Sorry I couldn't update you last night, it was a long surgery. She was in OT for 14 hrs. But Alhamdulillah, everything went well. Dipi is currently in the ICU. She's in some pain, but she's stable and doing okay. Thank you all dil se (from my heart) for your love, prayers, and support, it truly means a lot. I will update you all once she's out of the ICU.
