Taking to Instagram, Dipika Kakar also shared a bunch of photos of the couple--as they celebrated happy occasions and also when she was recently hospitalised. The first photo showed Dipika and Shoaib holding hands and walking in the corridor of the hospital. Both of them had their back to the camera. The next few pictures showed the couple posing for the camera and celebrating several special moments in life. In the last picture, Dipika and Shoaib hugged each other as a table laden with cakes, a flower bouquet and balloons was kept in front of them. Dipika showered praises on Shoaib. Sharing the pictures, Dipika wrote, "Celebrating the man who lights my life every single day with his love…. @shoaib2087 tum ho to mai hun… tumse hi mai hun (if you're there then I'm there too, I'm there because of you)… you've walked thru with me in the best & the worst times… holding my hand tight…… your eyes telling me im here right here… ur touch giving me all the strength i need and your warmth giving me all the comfort …. jitna bhi mushkil samay ho tumhara saath uska ehsaas nahi hone deta (whatever difficult times we have, your presence doesn't let me feel it)…." Dipika talks about their tough time Talking about her surgery and their tough times, Dipika shared how Shoaib takes care of her. She wrote, "Last few days humdono ne bahut kuch face kiya hai… hospital ke corridor me rona.. Mera scan ke liye bahut darna…. surgery ka din… ICU ke din (we have faced a lot, from crying in hospital corridor to getting scared a lot for my scan, day of the surgery and ICU)…. u have not slept for nights even now when I'm back home main karwat bhi badlun to aap uth jaate ho (if I turn sideways you wake up)….to make sure I'm alright." Dipika says Shoaib took care of her as a baby You have actually cared for me ek chote baby ki tarah (like a kid)… and u continue to do that… So here's wishing a very Happy Birthday to the man who not only loves me but wraps me in his warmth… and makes sure I'm happy… Safe & smiling always. Allah har khushi se nawaaze aapko… Har dua me aapka naam hai (May God give you every happiness, every prayer has your name)," concluded her note. About Dipika's health Dipika recently underwent a 14-hour-long surgery for her stage two liver cancer. She was then shifted to the ICU for some time. The actor was discharged from the hospital recently.

TV star Dipika Kakar is back home after she underwent a 14-hour surgery for stage 2 liver cancer. In her first vlog since the operation, the Sasural Simar Ka actor thanked her fans for all their love and prayers. What Dipika Kakar Said In her First Personal Vlog Since The Surgery In a 23-minute video shared on her personal YouTube channel Dipika Ka Duniya, Dipika Kakar on Monday night shared what she and her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim went through when they received her diagnosis. "Around a month ago when we found out that there is a tumour and that there will be a surgery... A major surgery... The term surgery was enough to make me panic... Shoaib was aware (about the diagnosis) but he didn't tell me. But when the doctor was checking the reports, I asked Shoaib about the results and he told me things weren't okay," she said. "When I saw the reports myself, I realised it was not okay. We were standing in the corridor of the hospital. At that moment, we both broke down standing in that corridor... When you first hear the word 'malignant' or 'cancer', it creates fear in your mind. I just broke down and hugged Shoaib tightly," the actor said in her vlog. Staying Away From Her Two-Year-Old Son Ruhaan "One of the most difficult things was weaning off Ruhaan in one night. There was no other option. I cried a lot. It had to happen some day but that it would happen like this, that's something I hadn't thought about at all," Dipika Kakar recalled. The actor, who recently featured on reality TV series Celebrity MasterChef, expressed gratitude towards her admirers and well wishers. "You all have prayed for me like family. All of this is very special. When I used to lie on that ICU bed, Shoaib used to tell me that a lot of people are sending their prayers and I would cry a lot but they were happy tears. That so many people love me a lot. I feel blessed and a little proud. I treasure this a lot," she said. About recuperating from the cancer, Dipika Kakar said, "There is still a long way to go." Television actor Dipika Kakar, who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer, has returned home. She underwent a major 14-hour surgery to remove a malignant liver tumour on June 3, and a few days after that, she was out of the ICU. Now, after 11 days in the hospital, Dipika has finally been discharged from the hospital. Shoaib Ibrahim shared that while the major part- the surgery- went well, and Dipika is recovering, further treatment steps are still ahead. He said that they will return for a follow-up after a week, as the tumour was malignant and requires monitoring. Dipika reunited with her two-year-old son Ruhaan, and other family members, marking a joyful moment. In his latest vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim shared that it has been 11 days since they have been in the hospital, and that Dipika is getting discharged. Sharing her health update, he said, 'Everything is fine right now, but we've only crossed one milestone. There are still many things ahead that we have to look into. As the doctors guide us, we'll keep following that. But the major part — the surgery — went well. Dipika is also recovering well. Yes, there are still a lot of things pending that need to be done. Hopefully, those will also go well." Dipika lauded the team of doctors and medical staff, as they left the hospital and headed home. Shoaib and Dipika Recall Breaking Down After Hearing Tumour Was Malignant Shoaib shared that when the doctor first told them that the tumour was malignant, he and Dipika broke down right there in front of the doctor. He revealed that the doctor was very kind and patient, and said 'Take your time, we understand'. Further sharing about Dipika's health, Shaoib said, 'Everything is fine, but we'll have to keep coming back for follow-ups because the tumour was malignant. That situation has to be monitored. Also, they've asked us to come back in a week. After that, they'll decide what further treatment is needed — whether something needs to be done or not. For now, we're taking it one step at a time." Meanwhile, Shoaib also mentioned that while he was initially going to share this vlog yesterday, he delayed it out of respect for the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash. Dipika and Shoaib extended their condolences to the victims' families. Last month, Dipika revealed that she is battling stage 2 liver cancer. The television star, known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, shared the heartbreaking update through an emotional Instagram note. After suffering intense stomach pain, doctors discovered a tumour 'the size of a tennis ball" in her liver, which was later confirmed to be cancerous.
