The fan can be used indoors or outdoors, thanks to its portable and cordless design. It's also rainproof, so if it gets left outside by accident, it shouldn't cause too much damage. Handily, it's super quiet, so the telly or radio can remain on without a whirring fan interfering. Elsewhere, Currys has the Dyson Cool Tower Fan for £269.99. It is pricier, but it is a Dyson, so pretty stylish. And has 10 different speeds, depending on how severe the heat is. This fan is all I ever wanted. When Shark said it's silent. It's silent. Full stop. I only just unboxed it, but it does all it says on the tin, but better than all other fans.
