'Prevention and Safety' targets forty high-rise buildings
Campaign targets 40 towers The campaign targets 40 towers in the Emirate that are taller than 23 metres, with the goal of raising awareness about the newly issued High-Rise Building Safety Guide. The announcement was delivered at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah. In an exclusive statement to 'Sharjah 24,' Dr Al Quraidi noted that the guidance is intended for buildings taller than 23 metres, as such projects require specialised safety procedures that adhere to the highest international standards. The document specifies precise requirements for evacuation plans, fire prevention systems, and preventative maintenance routines, all of which are intended to protect lives and property.
