Amr Youssef to Star in "Mosem Saad El Gazlan" Film Adaptation

Yara Sameh Egyptian actor Amr Youssef has signed on to star in the film adaptation of author and screenwriter Ahmed Mourad's novel "Mosem Saad El Gazlan" ("Deer Hunting Season") Set in the future and set in a science fiction world, "Mosem Saad El Gazlan" marks the directorial debut of renowned cinematographer Ahmed El Morsy and Youssef's first foray into this genre. The adaptation also witnesses the first collaboration between Youssef and Murad. Youssef made her last appearance on the big screen in the romance-action film ' Shaqo ' (Brothers). The cast also includes Amr Youssef, Mohamed Mamdouh, Dina El Sherbiny, Amina Khalil, Abbas Abul-Hassan, Mohamed Gomaa, Walid Fawaz, and more. The star-studded film is scripted by Wissam Sabri, helmed by Karim El Sobky, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky. "Shaqo" debuted in the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon. Youssef, born on December 23, 1980, began his career in entertainment with television commercials and music videos. Thereafter, veteran actor Nour Al Sherif brought his talents to the public's attention when he was cast in the TV series 'Al Daly' in 2007. Following this crucial step forward, Youssef's career took off. Since then, he appeared in 'Nour Ainy' (2010), 'Rad Fa'al' (2011), and the popular 2013 Ramadan drama series 'Niran Sadeeka' (Friendly Fire). Youssef is known for his roles in the films 'Hepta: The Last Lecture', 'Welad Rezk', and 'Rad Faal'. Yara Sameh Production has begun on veteran actress Yousra's upcoming light comedy film "Al Set Lama". A first-look images from the set of the film have been released featuring the acclaimed actress alongside Hamdy Marghany, who is making a cameo appearance in the pic.
